< Jeremia 28 >
1 Aa ie tamy taoñey avao, amy fifotoram-pifehea’ i Tsidkia mpanjaka’ Iehodày, amy volam-paha lime’ i taom-pahefatsey, le nisaontsy amako añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao añatrefa’ o mpisoroñeo naho ondaty iabio t’i Kananiaho, ana’ i Azore, mpizaka nte-Gibone, nanao ty hoe:
And it came to pass in the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah, the son of Azur the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2 Hoe ty enta’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, Andrianañahare’ Israele, Fa pinozako i jokam-panjaka’ i Baveley;
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: “I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 añate’ ty roe taoñe do’e le fonga hampoliko an-toetse atoy ze fana’ i anjomba’ Iehovày nakare’ i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele an-toetse atoy naho nendese’e mb’e Bavele añe,
Within two full years will I bring again to this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon took from this place, and carried to Babylon.

And Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the captives of Judah that went to Babylon, will I bring again to this place, saith Jehovah; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.”
5 Aa le hoe t’Iirmeà mpitoky amy Kananiaho mpitoky añatrefa’ o mpisoroñeo naho aolo ze hene ondaty nijohañe añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà eo,
Then Jeremiah the prophet spake to Hananiah the prophet, in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah.
6 hoe t’Iirmeà mpitoky: Ie izay! ehe te hanoe’ Iehovà izay! ehe te ho henefe’ Iehovà o saontsy tinoki’oo, te hampoli’e o fana’ i anjomba’ Iehovàio, naho ie iaby nasese an-drohy mb’eo rezay, boake Bavele pak’ an-toetse atoy!
And Jeremiah the prophet said, Amen! So may Jehovah do! May Jehovah fulfill thy words which thou hast prophesied, and bring back the vessels of the house of Jehovah, and all the captives from Babylon to this place!
7 Fe janjiño hey ty tsara ho taroñeko an-dravembia’o, naho an-dravembia’ ondaty iabio:
Nevertheless, hear now this word, which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.
8 O mpitoky taoloko naho taolo’o haehaeo ro nitoky fatse ami’ty fifeheañe maro, naho fifelehañe jabajaba ty ami’ty aly naho hankàñe vaho angorosy.
The prophets who have been before me and before thee from ancient times have also prophesied against many nations, and against great kingdoms, of war, of calamity, and of pestilence.
9 Ty mpitoky mitoky fierañerañañe, ie tondroke ty saontsi’ i mpitokiy, le ho fohiñe te toe nirahe’ Iehovà i mpitoky zay.
The prophet who prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall he be known as a prophet whom Jehovah hath truly sent.
10 Aa le rinambe’ i Kananiaho am-pititia’ Iirmeà eo i boday vaho pinoza’e,
Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.
11 vaho nilañoñe añatrefa’ ondaty iabio t’i Kananiaho nanao ty hoe: Hoe t’Iehovà, Hambañe amy zay ty hampipozahako am-pititia’ o kilakila’ ndatio añate’ ty taoñe roe garagadoñe ty joka’ i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele. Le nisitak’ iareo t’Iirmeà.
And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: In this manner will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, from the neck of all the nations, within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Aa ie nandimbe i nampipozahe’ i Kananiaho am-pititia’ Iirmeà mpitoky i jokaiy, le niheo am’ Iirmeà ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
Then came the word of Jehovah to Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying:
13 Akia, saontsio amy Kananiaho ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà: Fa pinoza’o o joka hataeo; fe hamboare’o joka viñe hasolo aze.
Go and tell Hananiah, saying: Thou hast broken a yoke of wood, but thou shalt make instead of it a yoke of iron.
14 Le hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, i Andrianañahare’ Israeley: Fa napoko am-pititia’ o fifeheañe iaby retoa ty joka viñe hitoroña’ iareo i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele; toe hitoroñe aze iereo vaho natoloko ama’e ka o hare an-kivoke eio.
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: A yoke of iron do I put upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. The beasts of the field also do I give to him.
15 Le hoe t’Iirmeà mpitoky amy Kananiaho mpitoky: Mahajanjiña hey ry Kananiaho; tsy nañirak’ azo t’Iehovà; vaho ampiatoa’o ami’ty vande ondaty retoa.
Jeremiah the prophet said also to Hananiah the prophet: Hear now, Hananiah! Jehovah hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16 Aa le hoe t’Iehovà: Inao! hiraheko hiakatse ty tarehe’ ty tane toy irehe; toe hihomak’ ami’ty taoñe toy ty amy tarom-piolañe nanoe’o am’ Iehovày.
Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee off from the face of the earth. This year thou shalt die; for thou hast spoken rebellion against Jehovah.
17 Aa le nikoromak’ amy volam-paha-fito’ i taoñeiy avao t’i Kananiaho mpitoky.
And Hananiah the prophet died in the same year, in the seventh month.
