< Jeremia 13 >
1 Hoe t’Iehovà amako: Akia, mikaloa sokotry lande, le sadiaño, vaho ko alo’o an-drano.
Thus sayth the Lord vnto mee, Goe, and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it vpon thy loynes, and put it not in water.
2 Aa le nivily sokotry iraho ty amy tsara’ Iehovày, vaho nadiako.
So I bought the girdle according to the commandement of the Lord, and put it vpon my loynes.
3 Nomb’ amako fañindroe’e ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
And the worde of the Lord came vnto me the second time, saying,
4 Endeso i sokotry vinili’oy, o an-toha’oo, le miongaha, akia mb’e Perate añe vaho akafiro an-tseran-damilamy ao.
Take the girdle that thou hast bought, which is vpon thy loynes, and arise, goe towarde Perath, and hide it there in the cleft of the rocke.
5 Aa le nimb’ eo iraho nañetak’ aze e Perate ao amy nandilia’ Iehovày.
So I went, and hid it by Perath, as the Lord had commanded me.
6 Ie añe ty andro maro, le hoe t’Iehovà amako, Miongaha, akia mb’e Perate mb’eo vaho rambeso i sokotry nililiako haetak’aoy.
And after many dayes, the Lord sayde vnto mee, Arise, goe towarde Perath, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.
7 Aa le nimb’e Perate mb’eo iraho vaho hinaliko naho rinambeko amy nañetahakoy i sokotriy; naheoko t’ie nianto, tsy vara ka.
Then went I to Perath, and digged, and tooke the girdle from the place where I had hid it, and behold, the girdle was corrupt, and was profitable for nothing.
8 Le niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
Then the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
9 Hoe t’Iehovà: Hambañe amy zay ty hamongorako ty fiebora’ Iehodà, naho ty firengevoha’ Ierosalaime,
Thus sayth the Lord, After this maner will I destroy the pride of Iudah, and the great pride of Ierusalem.
10 ondaty lo-tsereke retoañe, o mifoneñe tsy hijanjiñe o volakoo, o manjotik’ ami’ty fanjeharan’arofo’eo, naho mañorike ndrahare ila’e hitoroña’e naho hitalahoa’e; aa le hifandrae ami’ty sokotry toy iereo, ie tsy vente’e.
This wicked people haue refused to heare my word, and walke after ye stubbernesse of their owne heart, and walke after other gods to serue them, and to worship them: therefore they shalbe as this girdle, which is profitable to nothing.
11 Fa hambañe ami’ty fidiañañe ty sokotry an-toha’ondaty, ty nampidiañako amako ty anjomba’ Israele iaby, naho ze hene anjomba’ Iehodà, hoe t’Iehovà, soa te ho amako iereo, h’ondaty naho tahinañe, naho engeñe, vaho volonahetse; f’ie mihiritsiritse avao.
For as the girdle cleaueth to the loynes of a man, so haue I tied to me the whole house of Israel, and the whole house of Iudah, saith the Lord, that they might bee my people: that they might haue a name and prayse, and glory, but they would not heare.
12 Atovoño am’ iereo o tsara zao: Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele: Songa ho peañen-divay o zonjoñeo. Le ie manao ty hoe iereo: Aa tsy apota’ay hao te sindre hatsafen-divay o zonjoñeo?
Therefore thou shalt saye vnto them this word, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Euery bottell shalbe filled with wine, and they shall say vnto thee, Doe we not knowe that euery bottell shalbe filled with wine?
13 Le hanoa’o ty hoe: Hoe t’Iehovà: Ingo ho liporeko hamamoañe ze hene mpimone’ ty tane toy: o mpanjaka miambesatse am-piambesa’ i Davideo, naho o mpisoroñeo, naho o mpitokio, vaho o mpimone’ Israele iabio.
Then shalt thou say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, euen the Kings that sit vpon the throne of Dauid, and the Priestes and the Prophets and all the inhabitantes of Ierusalem with drunkennesse.
14 Ho ifampidosieko iereo, o roaeo amo ana’eo, hoe’ t’Iehovà; tsy hiheveako, tsy ho tretrezeko, tsy ho ferenaiñeko; te mone ho rotsaheko.
And I wil dash them one against another, euen the fathers and the sonnes together, sayeth the Lord: I will not spare, I will not pitie nor haue compassion, but destroy them.
15 Mijanjiña naho manolora ravembia, ko mibohaboha; fa nitsara t’Iehovà.
Heare and giue eare, be not proude: for the Lord hath spoken it.
16 Toloro engeñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo, aolo’ ty firoña’e ho maieñe, aolo te mitsikapy an-tongoa-vohitse eo o fandia’ areoo, le ie mipay hazavàñe nahareo ro hafote’e ho talinjon-kavilasy, ie hampimoromoroñe’e.
Giue glory to the Lord your God before he bring darknes, and or euer your feete stumble in the darke mountaines, and whiles you look for light, he turne it into the shadowe of death and make it as darkenesse.
17 Fe naho tsy mañaoñe nahareo, le hiharovetse añ’etake ty troko ty amy firengevohañe zay; higanaganaham-pangololoihañe o masokoo, vaho hikararake o rano-masokoo, amy te nasese an-drohy añe i lia-rai’ Iehovày.
But if ye will not heare this, my soule shall weepe in secrete for your pride, and mine eye shall weepe and drop downe teares, because the Lords flocke is caried away captiue.
18 Taroño amy mpanjakay naho amy mpanjaka-ampelay ty hoe: Mitoboha ambane, fa nazetse o sabakan’enge’ areo fanjakao.
Say vnto the King and to the Queene, Humble yourselues, sit downe, for the crowne of your glory shall come downe from your heads.
19 Migabeñe o rova atimoo, vaho tsy eo ty hanokake iareo; songa nasese am-pandrohizañe t’Iehodà; sindre nendeseñ’ añe an-drohy.
The cities of the South shall be shut vp, and no man shall open them: all Iudah shall be caried away captiue: it shall be wholy caried away captiue.
20 Ampiandrao o fihaino’oo, isaho o mb’etoy boak’ avaratse eio; aia i lia-raike natolots’ azoy, i lia-rai’o fanjakay?
Lift vp your eyes and beholde them that come from the North: where is the flocke that was giuen thee, euen thy beautifull flocke?
21 Ino ty hatao’o naho tendre’e ho ambone’ lohà’o o nirañe’o taoloo; o naò’oo? Tsy hamihiñe azo hao ty fikoretañe hoe fitsongoan’ ampela?
What wilt thou saye, when hee shall visite thee? (for thou hast taught them to be captaines and as chiefe ouer thee) shall not sorow take thee as a woman in trauaile?
22 Aa naho atao’o an-tro’o ao ty hoe: Ino ty nifetsaha’ iretoañe amako? Ty habei’ hakeo’o ty nañaloañe i siki’oy, naho ty maha tsi-an-kana o tomi’oo.
And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things vpon me? For the multitude of thine iniquities are thy skirts discouered and thy heeles made bare.
23 Mahay mañova ty holi’e hao ty nte-Kose, ndra i hapepoa’ey ty fosa? Aa naho mete izay, le ho lefe’areo mpanao ratio ka ty hanao soa.
Can the blacke More change his skin? or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do euill.
24 Aa le hampiboeleko iereo manahake ty karafo ampihelaña’ i tion-dratraratray.
Therefore will I scatter them, as the stubble that is taken away with the South winde.
25 Toe toli’o toy, ty nañaranako ama’o, hoe t’Iehovà; amy te nihaliñe’o iraho, vaho niatoa’o ty remborake.
This is thy portion, and ye part of thy measures from me, sayth the Lord, because thou hast forgotten me and trusted in lyes.
26 Aa le hatsingako ambone’ lahara’o eo o siki’oo hampiboake ty fimeñara’o.
Therefore I haue also discouered thy skirts vpon thy face, that thy shame may appeare.
27 Fa nitreako o hativa’oo: ty fañarapiloa’o, ty fitrem-pitsinginiora’o, ty haleoran-katsimirira’o, amo tamboho an-kivoke eio, nitreako o hativà’oo. Hankàñe ama’o, ry Ierosalaime, ampara’ te ombia t’ie mbe haleotse?
I haue seene thine adulteries, and thy neiings, the filthinesse of thy whoredome on the hils in the fieldes, and thine abominations. Wo vnto thee, O Ierusalem: wilt thou not bee made cleane? when shall it once be?
