< Isaia 64 >

1 Ehe te ho riate’o o likerañeo, hizotsoa’o mb’etoa, naho hiezeñezeñe añ’atrefa’o eo o vohitseo,
Did You not tear the heavens? You came down, Mountains flowed from Your presence,
2 Manahake ty famorototoan’ afo o rongoñeo, ty afo mampitroatroake rano. Hampaharofoanañe o malaiñ’Azoo ty tahina’o, hihondrahondra’ o kilakila’ ndatio ami’ty fiatrefa’o,
(As fire kindles stubble—Fire causes water to boil), To make Your Name known to Your adversaries, Nations tremble from Your presence.
3 Ie nanoa’o raha tsitantane tsy nipaia’ay —Ehe te hizotso irehe, te hiozoñozoñe o haboañeo ami’ty fiatrefa’o!—
In Your doing fearful things [that] we do not expect, You came down, Mountains flowed from Your presence.
4 ie tsy jinanji’ ondatio taolo, tsy napotan-dravembia tsy nioni-pihaino, t’i Andrianañahare naho tsy Ihe, Ie mitoloñe ho a o mandiñe Azeo.
Even from antiquity [men] have not heard, They have not given ear, Eye has not seen a God except You, He works for those waiting for Him.
5 Fitilihe’o ty mitolon-kavantañañe an-kaehake, o mahatiahy Azo amo lala’oo —eka, mifombo irehe te mandilatse zahay. Fe ami’ty fiatoa’ay amo lala’o haehaeo ro hahazoa’ay rombake.
You have met with the rejoicer And the doer of righteousness, In Your ways they remember You, Behold, You have been angry when we sin, By them [is] continuance, and we are saved.
6 Songa ninjare hoe ondaty tiva zahay, sindre hoe tsirodea maleotse ty havantaña’ay; miheatse manahake ty raveñe, vaho maniotsiotse anay añe hoe i tiokey o hakeo’aio.
And we are as unclean—all of us, And all our righteous acts [are] as garments of menstruation; And we fade as a leaf—all of us. And our iniquities take us away as wind.
7 Leo raike tsy mikanjy ty tahina’o, ty mitrobo vatañe handrambe Azo; fa naeta’o ama’ay ty lahara’o, vaho nagedra’o ty amo tahi’aio.
And there is none calling on Your Name, Stirring himself up to lay hold on You, For You have hid Your face from us, And You melt us away by our iniquities.
8 Hoke, ry Iehovà, Ihe ro Rae’ay; zahay ro lietse, Ihe ro mpitoloñe anay, Ie songa satam-pità’o.
And now, O YHWH, You [are] our Father, We [are] the clay, and You [are] our Framer, And the work of Your hand—all of us.
9 Ko loho viñetse ry Iehovà, vaho ko mahatiahy hakeo nainai’e; heheke, vazohò henaneo, te hene ondati’o zahay.
Do not be angry, O YHWH, very severely, Nor remember iniquity forever, Behold, look attentively, we implore You, We [are] all Your people.
10 Fa nanjare ratraratra o rova’o miavakeo, fatrambey ty Tsione, mangoakoake t’Ierosalaime.
Your holy cities have been a wilderness, Zion has been a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
11 I anjomba’ay miavake naho fanjakay, i nitalahoan-droae’aiy, le fa finorototo’ ty afo; vaho fonga navatambia ho forompotse o raha soa’aio.
Our holy and our beautiful house, Where our fathers praised You, Has become burned with fire, And all our desirable things have become a ruin.
12 Mbe hifoneña’o hao ry Iehovà ty amy raha rezay? hianjiñe hao irehe hampalovilovy anay an-tìñake.
Do You refrain Yourself for these, YHWH? You are silent, and afflict us very severely!
