< Isaia 57 >
1 Mimosao o vantañeo fe tsy haoñe’ ty arofo’ ondaty; rambeseñ’ añe o matarikeo, fe tsy eo ty mitsakore t’ie nampiengañe amy raty ho aviy.
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth [it] to heart: and merciful men [are] taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil [to come].
2 Mimoak’ am-pierañerañañe ao re, mitofa am-pandrea’e eo iereo, o mpañavelo an-kahiti’eo.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, [each one] walking [in] his uprightness.
3 Fe miharinea ry anam-pamoreke, ry tirim-pañarapilo naho tsimirirane.
But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the lewd.
4 Ia ty solè’ areo? Ia ty ampivañavañà’ areo vava, naho ibolobeaha’ areo? Tsy anam-piolàñe hao ry tirim-pandañirañeo?
Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, [and] thrust out the tongue? [are] ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
5 Inahareo mpañiri-mena ambane’ kileo ambane ze hatae mandrevakeo; o mpamono ajaja am-bavataneo, ambane’ o tevam-batoo.
Inflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the cliffs of the rocks?
6 Amo vato nivañeñe an-goledoñ’ ao ty anjara’o, mañeva azo izay, mbore nañiliña’o engan-drano, nibanabanà’o engan-kaneñe. Hitsiñe amy tsaraeñey hao iraho.
Among the smooth [stones] of the stream [is] thy portion; they, they [are] thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink-offering, thou hast offered a meat-offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
7 Fa nalafi’o ambone vohitse mitiotiotse eo ty tìhi’o; le nimb’eo hañenga soroñe,
Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither thou wentest up to offer sacrifice.
8 nañoreñ’ajiba amboho lalañe naho tsotsoke ao; ie nañafa-tsaroñe fa tsy amako, niañambone, namelatse i tihi’oy, le nilahatse am’ iereo vaho nitea’o ty tihi’ iareo te nitsikaoreñe.
Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast uncovered [thyself to another] than me, and hast gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee [a covenant] with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest [it].
9 Nomba’o reke-tsolike i mpanjakay, le nampitomboe’o o rano-mañi’oo, nampihitrife’o añe o sorotà’oo, ihe nihotrake mb’an-tsikeokeoke ao. (Sheol )
And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase [thyself even] to hell. (Sheol )
10 Nahamokotse azo ty halava’ i lia’oy; f’ie tsy nanao ty hoe: Po-pitamañe. Nisolebatse indraike ty fañiria’o, vaho tsy nilesa.
Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; [yet] saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thy hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
11 Ia ty nihembaña’o naho nañeveña’o? Akore te nandañira’o naho tsy nitiahie’o vaho tsy nitsakorea’o? Kanao hatr’ela’e ty nitsiñako ihe tsy mañeveñe amako.
And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid [it] to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
12 Ho taroñeko ty hamarentane’o, naho o fitoloña’oo— f'ie tsy ho vara ama’o.
I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
13 Ihe mitoreo, hahahah’ azo hao o raha nahoro’oo; fa fonga hasiotsion-tioke, ho vavèn-kofòke mb’eo; fa ho fanaña’ i mitsoloke amakoy i taney, vaho ho lovae’e i vohiko miavakey.
When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take [them]: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
14 Le ho koiheñe ty hoe: Ahifiho mañambone, Aobòño ambone ey, afaho iaby ze sebañe an-dala’ ondatikoo.
And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.
15 Fa hoe ty nafè’ i Antiotiotsey, i Andindimoneñe mpimoneñe an-tsi-fimodoañey, ie kanjieñe ty hoe: Masiñe. Izaho mpitoboke amy abo naho masiñey—mpiamako ty mibàboke naho ty mirèke añ’ova’e ao, hameloñe ty arofo miambane, vaho hampibodañe ty troke misoloho.
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 Toe tsy hifañotakotake nainai’e iraho, vaho tsy ho boseke kitro katroke; hera hamoe’ay o troke aolokoo, naho o arofo nitsenèkoo.
For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit would fail before me, and the souls [which] I have made.
17 Ty haratia’ i fihaña’ey ty nibosehako naho nandafàko, nietake am-pifomboan-draho; f’ie nitolom-piola ami’ty fombàn-tro’e.
For the iniquity of his covetousness I was wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 Fa nitreako o sata’eo, fe ho jangañeko; naho hiaoloako, vaho ho vaoeko ama’e naho amo mpandala’eo ty fañohòañe.
I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
19 Izaho ty mitsene o vokam-pivimbio; fanintsiñañe, fanintsiñañe, amy tsietoitaney naho amy marivoy, hoe t’Iehovà, vaho ho melañeko.
I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to [him that is] far off, and to [him that is] near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
20 Fa manahake i riake mivalitaboakey o lo-tserekeo; amy te tsy mete mipendreñe, vaho aretsa’ o ranoo mañambone ty leotse naho loto.
But the wicked [are] like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 Tsy am-pierañerañañe o rati-tserekeo. hoe t’i Andrianañahareko,
[There is] no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
