< Isaia 52 >
1 Mivañona, mivañona, aombeo ty haozara’o ry Tsione; sikino o saro’o fanjàkao, ry Ierosalaime, rova miavakeo; fa tsy himoak’ ama’o ka henane zao o tsy nisavatseo naho o tsy malioo.
Awake, awake, put on thy majesty, O Zion! Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For no more shall come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Ahifikifiho o debokeo; miongaha, miambesara, r’Ierosalaime; mibalaha amo taly am-bozo’oo, ry anak’ ampela’ i Tsione mirohio.
Shake thyself from the dust, Arise and sit erect, O Jerusalem! Loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion!
3 Hoe t’Iehovà; Ie naletake tsy amam-bili’e; vaho tsy drala t’ie hijebañañe.
For thus saith Jehovah: For naught were ye sold, And without money shall ye be ransomed.
4 Fa hoe t’i Talè, Iehovà: Nañavelo mb’e Mitsraime mb’eo heike ondatiko taoloo, nitaveañe añe; vaho finorekeke’ o nte-Asoreo tsy aman-dengo’e.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: My people went down to Egypt formerly to sojourn there, And the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
5 Aa inoñe arè ty hanoeko atoy, hoe t’Iehovà, kanao nasese mb’eo tsy amam-bili’e ondatikoo? Mangolalaike o mpifele’ iareoo, hoe t’Iehovà, vaho nainai’e terateraeñe ty añarako, toe lomoñandro.
And now, what have I here to do, saith the Lord, When my people is taken away for naught, And their tyrants exult, saith Jehovah, And all the day long my name is blasphemed.
6 Aa le hahafohiñe ty añarako ondatikoo; vaho ho fohi’ iareo amy andro zay, te Izaho ty manao ty hoe: Intoy iraho.
Therefore shall my people know my name; Therefore in that day shall they know That I am he that said, Behold, here am I!
7 Fanjaka amo haboañeo o fandiam-pañitrike talily soao, ty mitsey fierañerañañe, ty mitaroñe entan-tsoa, ty mikoike fandrombahañe vaho manao amy Tsione ty hoe: Mifehe t’i Andrianañahare’o.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, of him that proclaimeth peace! That bringeth good tidings, that proclaimeth salvation! That saith to Zion, “Thy God is king!”
8 Inao ty mpijilo’ areo! Mampipoña-peo, mitrao-pisaboañe; fa ho isam-pihaino’ iareo ty fibaliha’ Iehovà mb’e Tsione ao.
Hark! the voice of thy watchmen! They lift up the voice together; yea, they shout! For eye to eye shall they behold, When Jehovah returneth to Zion.
9 Mipoñafa an-drebeke, miredoña an-tsabo, ry tanan-taolo’ Ierosalaime; fa nañohò ondati’eo t’Iehovà, jineba’e t’Ierosalaime.
Break forth into joy; shout together, ye ruins of Jerusalem! For Jehovah hath pity on his people; he redeemeth Jerusalem.
10 Hinalo’ Iehovà ty fità’e masiñe am-pihaino’ o kilakila’ ndatio; vaho hahaoniñe ty fandrombahan’ Añaharen-tika o añ’olo-ty tane toy iabio.
Jehovah maketh bare his holy arm In the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth Behold the salvation from our God.
11 Miavota, Miengà, miakara boak’ ao, ko mitsapa raha maleotse; miakara boak’ añivo’e ao, miliova, ry mpinday o harao’ Iehovào.
Depart, depart ye; go ye out from thence; Touch no unclean thing! Go ye out from the midst of her; Be ye clean, ye that bear the vessels of Jehovah!
12 Tsy halisa hiavotse nahareo, naho tsy hivoratsake mb’eo; amy te hiaolo anahareo t’Iehovà vaho hivoly anahareo t’i Andrianañahare’ Israele.
For not in haste shall ye go forth, Nor in flight shall ye pass along; For Jehovah shall march in your front, And the God of Israel bring up your rear.
13 Ingo, hiraorao i mpitorokoy, hongaheñe naho honjoneñe mb’andindiñe añe.
Behold, my servant shall prosper; He shall be lifted up, and set on high, and greatly exalted.
14 Manahake te nimaro ty nitoritotse ty ama’o— ie dinemoke i lahara’ey, hoe tsy ondaty, naho ty fañova’e hoe tsy ana’ondaty—
As many were amazed at the sight of him, —So disfigured and scarcely human was his visage, And so unlike that of a man was his form, —
15 ie henaneo ro hampitsekake fifeheañe maro, mijomohòñe ama’e o mpanjakao; amy te ho isa’ iareo o mboe tsy nitalilañeo, vaho ho oni’ iareo o mboe tsy jinanji’iareo.
So shall he cause many nations to exult on account of him; Kings shall shut their mouths before him. For what had never been told them shall they see, And what they never heard shall they perceive.
