< Isaia 5 >

1 Ho bekoeko i kokoakoy, toe beko’ i rañeko, ty amy tanem-balobo’ey, Aman-tanem-bahy ankaboan- kobokara añe i kokoakoy.
Let me sing for my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved had a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
2 Nitrabahe’e, nahoro’e boak’ao o vato’eo, naketsa’e ao ty vahe soa-joboñe, rinanji’e tilik’abo an-teñateña ao, vaho nitsenea’e fipiritan-divay: le nitamà’e valoboke, f’ie namokatse valoboke vìlañe.
and he made a trench about it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also hewed out a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
3 Ie henane zao ry mpimoneñe e Ierosalaime ao, ry ondati’ Iehodào, ihalaliako: mizakà añivoko naho i tondam-balobokoy.
And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
4 Ino ka ty hanoako amy tetem-bahekoy, ze mboe tsy nanoeko? Ie nitamàko hamokatse valoboke soa, ro nañomey valoboke lo?
What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
5 Aa ie zao, hampahafohineko anahareo ty hanoako amy tanem-bahekoy; hombotako i fahe’ey, le horoañe; le harotsako ambane i kijoli’ey, ho lialiàñe.
And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; I will break down the fence thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
6 Hampangoakoaheko, tsy ho birabiraeñe, tsy havaeñe ka; fa hitirian-kisatse naho fatike: ho lilieko ka o rahoñeo ty tsy hampahavy orañe.
and I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
7 Ty anjomba’Israele, ie ty tondam-bahe’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, ondati’ Iehodào, i hatae ifalea’ey, nipay to re fe nizò fanjamanañe; nitsoeke havañonañe fe inao ty kaikaike.
For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
8 Hankàñe amo mampifanoitoy kibohotse an-kivoho, naho tonda toien-tetekeo, ampara’ t’ie tsy malalake, vaho bangy irehe añivo’ i taney.
Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no room, and ye be made to dwell alone in the midst of the land!
9 Amo sofikoo ao! hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, Toe maro ty anjomba ho kòake, ty jabajaba naho ty fanjaka tsy ho ama’ ondaty.
In mine ears [saith] the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
10 Eka, hamokatse sajoa raike ty tanem-bahe folo lasarý, le hahafoe tsikotoke raike ty tabiry zahetse raike.
For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield [but] an ephah.
11 Hekoheko amo mitroatse handro hitolon-kamamoañeo; o mihenekeneke halem-bey ampara’ t’ie solebaren-divaio.
Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that tarry late into the night, till wine inflame them!
12 Amo takataka’ iareo ty marovany naho ty mandolina, ty fikantsakantsàñe vaho ty divay: fe tsy oni’iareo ty sata’ Iehovà, mbore tsy ereñere’ iareo o fitoloñam-pità’eo.
And the harp and the lute, the tabret and the pipe, and wine, are [in] their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.
13 Aa le misese mb’an-drohy ondatikoo, amy te po-hilala, salikoeñe o androanavi’ iareoo, vaho miforejeje ami’ty hataliñiere’e ty valobohò’ iareo.
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, for lack of knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.
14 Aa le nienatse ty fañiria’ i tsikeokeokey, nigorobahe’e ty vava’e tsy taka-zeheñe; hijoloboñe ao ty enge’ iareo, ty fivoamboa’e, ty fikoraha’e, rekets’ i mirebekey. (Sheol h7585)
Therefore hell hath enlarged her desire, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend [into it]. (Sheol h7585)
15 Haketrake ty fokonon-tsoa, harèke ty fanalolahy, vaho hampiambaneañe ty fihaino’ o mievotsevotseo:
And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is humbled, and the eyes of the lofty are humbled:
16 Ty hatò ro añonjonañe Iehovà’ i Màroy, ty havañonañe ro añamasiñañe i Andrianañahare Masiñe.
but the LORD of hosts is exalted in judgment, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.
17 Hierañerañe am-piandrazañe ao o anak’añondrio, naho hihinañe amo tete- lovodovo’ o vondrakeo ty mpirererere.
Then shall the lambs feed as in their pasture, and the waste places of the fat ones shall wanderers eat.
18 Feh’ohatse amo mpikozozo-kakeo an-taly hòakeo, naho o tahiñeo hoe an-talin-tsarete:
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
19 Ie manao ty hoe: Ee t’ie halisa, hanaentaeñe i fitoloña’ey, hahaoniña’ay aze, le ee te hitotoke eo ty fanoroa’ i Masi’ Israeley homb’etoy hahafohina’ay Aze!
that say, Let him make speed, let him hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
20 Hekoheko ami’ty manao te raty ty soa, naho soa ty raty, o misolo ty ieñe ho hazavàñe naho ty hazavàñe ho ieñeo; o manao ty mafaitse ho mamy vaho ty mamy ho mafaitseo.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Hankàñe amo mahihitse am-pahaoniña’eo, naho o mahilala am-pahaisaha’eo!
Woe unto them that are wise their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Feh’ ohatse o fanalolahy am-pinon-divaio, naho ondaty maozatse am-pampilaroañe toakeo;
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 ie mañatò ty lo-tsereke hahazoam-bokàñe vaho mañafake ty havañona’ o vantañeo!
which justify the wicked for a reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Aa le manahake ty fipiloran-afo ty ahetse, naho ty fampibotseha’ ty lel’afo ty kafokafo’e, ty hañamomohañe ty vaha’ iareo, vaho hiboele hoe deboke o voñe’ iareoo; fa napo’ iareo ty Hà’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, naho nimavoe’ iareo ty nafè’ i Masi’ Israeley.
Therefore as the tongue of fire devoureth the stubble, and as the dry grass sinketh down in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Toly ndra miforoforo am’ ondati’eo ty haviñera’ Iehovà, naho natora-kitsi’e am’ iereo ty fità’e, naho trinabotrabo’e; nihondrahondra iaby o tambohoo, natao litsake an-dalambey eo ty lolo’ iareo. Amy hoe zay iaby mbe tsy nivike ty haviñera’e, vaho mbe mihity avao ty fità’e.
Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them, and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26 Hañonjo kobaiñe amo kilakila ondaty tsietoitaneo Re, naho hifioke ama’e boak’ añ’olo-ty tane toy añe, le hehe, hiherereake mb’etoy masika.
And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss for them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
27 Tsy ho am’ iereo ty ho mokotse ndra hitsikapy; tsy eo ty hiroro ndra hirotse; tsy habalake ty sadiam-bania’ iareo, vaho tsy hianto ty fihilin-kana’ iareo;
None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
28 Masioñe o ana-pale’eo, fonga mivohotse o fale’eo, hoe vato-pilake o tombon-tsoavala’eo, vaho talio o larò’eo;
whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29 Hirohake hoe liona vave iereo, hiroharoha hoe anan-diona, Eka, mitrè iereo mitsepake i horoñeñey, naho hendese’e añe, ie tsy amam-pandrombake.
their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and carry it away safe, and there shall be none to deliver.
30 Hitròñe amy andro zay iereo, manahake ty fitròña’ i riakey, ie mahaisake i taney, heheke ty hamoromoroñañe, naho faloviloviañe, ndra i hazavañey ro ampigodoñen-drahoñe.
And they shall roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness [and] distress, and the light is darkened in the clouds thereof.
