< Isaia 44 >

1 Aa le janjiño heike ry Iakobe mpitoroko, ry Israele jinoboko.
“And now, hear, O Jacob, My servant, And Israel, whom I have fixed on—
2 Hoe t’Iehovà namboatse azo, i namoroñe azo an-koviñ’ aoy, Ie ty hañimb’azo: ko hemban-drehe ry Iakobe mpitoroko, naho ry Iesorone jinoboko.
Thus said YHWH, your Maker, and your Former, From the womb He helps you: Do not fear, My servant Jacob, And Yeshurun, whom I have fixed on.
3 Fa hañiliñako rano i kirikintàñey, naho rano mitsiritsioke an-tane maike eo; hadoako amo tiri’oo ty Troko, naho amo tarira’oo ty fañanintsiko.
For I pour waters on a thirsty one, And floods on a dry land, I pour My Spirit on your seed, And My blessing on your offspring.
4 Le hitiry añate ahetse ao iereo manahake ty sohihy añolon-tsaka ey.
And they have sprung up as among grass, As willows by conduits of water.
5 Hanao ty hoe ty raike: A Iehovà iraho, le hitoka ty añara’e ho Iakobe ty raike; ty ila’e hanokitse am-pità’e eo t’ie a Iehovà, vaho hatao’e Israele ty añaram-binta’e.
This [one] says, For I [am] YHWH’s, And this calls [himself] by the name of Jacob, And this [one] writes [with] his hand, For YHWH, And surnames himself by the name of Israel.”
6 Hoe t’Iehovà, Mpanjaka’ Israele naho ty Mpijeba’e, t’Iehovà’ i Màroy; Izaho ro valoha’e, Izaho ro figadoña’e, le tsy eo t’i Andrianañahare naho tsy Izaho avao.
Thus said YHWH, King of Israel, And his Redeemer, YHWH of Hosts: “I [am] the first, and I [am] the last, And besides Me there is no God.
7 Ia ty manahak’ ahy—angao ho koihe’e naho ho taroñe’e, hamolily amako— boak’ amy nampijadoñako o matoetoeo! He adono re hitoky o viloñe ho avio, o raha mbe tsy nifetsakeo.
And who [is] as I, call and declare it, And arrange it for Me, Since My placing the people of antiquity, And things that are coming, And those that come, they declare to them.
8 Ko hemban-drehe, ko mahimahiñe, tsy fa nitaroñeko haehae hao? Mbore nikoihako? Inahareo ro valolombeloko: Ia t’i Andrianañahare añ’ilako? Ia ka ty Lamilamy? ie alik’ amako.
Do not fear, nor be afraid, Have I not caused you to hear from that time, and declared? And you [are] My witnesses, Is there a God besides Me? Indeed, there is none, I have not known another Rock.”
9 Songa tsy manjofake o mpamoroñe sare’ndrahareo, vaho tsy vara o mahasinda iareoo; tsy maharendreke o mpitalili’ iareoo, tsy mahafohiñe, hisalara’e.
Framers of a carved image, all of them [are] emptiness, And their desirable things do not profit, And they [are] their own witnesses, They do not see, nor know, that they may be ashamed.
10 Ia ty namoroñe ty ‘ndrahare, ndra nampitranake saren-draha tsy jefa’e?
Who has formed a god, And poured out a molten image—not profitable?
11 Toe ho meñatse iaby o mpirimboñe ama’eo, mentsake ondaty nandranjy iareoo; angao hifanontone iereo, songa hijohañe ey hirevendreveñe, sindre hitrao-kasalarañe.
Behold, all his companions are ashamed, As for artisans—they [are] of men, All of them gather together, they stand up, They fear, they are ashamed together.
12 Manefe fekoñe ty mpanefe, tolone’e am-baen’ afo, foroñe’e ami’ty ana-bato, anoe’e an-tsirañe maozatse; miha-kerè re, milesa i haozara’ey; tsy minon-drano, midazidazìtse.
He has worked iron [with] an axe, And has worked with coals, And forms it with hammers, And works it by his powerful arm, Indeed, he is hungry, and there is no power, He does not drink water, and he is wearied.
13 Mamavatse taly ty mpandranjy; sokire’e am-penisily; lamae’e am-pandama, patere’e an-kompà, vaho tsene’e ho sarem-binta’ondaty an-katsomerentseren-dra-olombelo, hitoboha’e añ’anjomba ao.
He has worked [with] wood, He has stretched out a rule, He marks it out with a line, He makes it with carving tools, And he marks it out with a compass, And makes it according to the form of a man, According to the beauty of a man, To remain in the house.
14 Firae’e ho aze ty mendoraveñe, rambese’e ty varo naho ty kobaiñe; beize’e ka ty hatae raike añ’ala ao, ambolè’e ty kintsy, vaho mamahañe aze i orañey.
Cutting down cedars for himself, He also takes a cypress, and an oak, And he strengthens [it] for himself Among the trees of a forest, He has planted an ash, and the shower nourishes [it].
15 Minjare raha mete oroa’ ondaty, aa le angala’e hamindroa’e; eka viañe’e naho anokona’e mahakama; mbore andranjia’e ndrahare, naho mitalaho ama’e, anokira’e hazomanga vaho midrakadrakak’ ama’e.
And it has been for man to burn, And he takes of them, and becomes warm, Indeed, he kindles [it], and has baked bread, Indeed, he makes a god, and bows himself, He has made it a carved image, And he falls down to it.
16 Olora’e añ’afo ao ty ila’e; ikama’e i henay ie mitono ty ila’ i henay, le anjañe, eka, amindroa’e le manao ty hoe: Hiry! Mafana iraho fa nitendrek’afo.
Half of it he has burned in the fire, By [this] half of it he eats flesh, He roasts a roasting and is satisfied, Indeed, he is warm and says: “Aha, I have become warm, I have enjoyed the light.”
17 Ty sisa’e amboare’e ‘ndrahare, toe sare’e; mibaboke re italahoa’e, naho ihalalia’e, manao ty hoe: Hahao iraho, fa ‘ndrahareko irehe?
And he has made its remnant for a god—For his carved image, He falls down to it, and worships, And prays to it, and he says, “Deliver me, for you [are] my god.”
18 Tsy apota’e, tsy mahilala; fa nakipe’e ty maso’iareo, tsy hahaisake, naho ty tro’e tsy haharendreke.
They have not known, nor do they understand, For He has coated their eyes from seeing, Their heart from acting wisely.
19 Tsy eo ty mitsakore an-troke te tsy ama’e ty hihitse ndra hilala hanoa’e ty hoe: Toe finorototoko añ’afo ao ty ila’e; eka fa nanokonako ahandro o vae’eo; fa nahandroako hena naho nihinañe; aa vaho handranjiako raha tiva ty sisa’e? Hibabohako hao ty foto-katae?
And none turn [it] back to his heart, Nor has knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire, Indeed, I have also baked bread over its coals, I roast flesh and I eat, And I make its remnant for an abomination, I fall down to the stock of a tree.”
20 Lavenoke ty itamboavokaha’e, nampivike aze ty tro’e finitake, tsy haharombaha’e aiñe, hanao ty hoe: Tsy vande hao ty an-tañan-kavanako toa?
Feeding on ashes, the heart is deceived, It has turned him aside, And he does not deliver his soul, nor says: “Is there not a lie in my right hand?”
21 Tiahio o raha zao ry Iakobe, naho ry Israele, amy te mpitoroko; Izaho ty nitsene azo, fetrek’oroko irehe; ry Israele, ehe ko andikofa’o.
“Remember these, O Jacob, and Israel, For you [are] My servant, I formed you, you [are] a servant to Me, O Israel, you do not forget Me.
22 Fa finaoko hoe rahoñe milodolodo o fiolà’oo, naho hoe mika-mikopoke o tahi’oo, mibaliha amako fa nijebañeko.
I have blotted out, as [by] a thick cloud, Your transgressions, And as [by] a cloud, your sins, Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
23 Misaboa ry likerañeo, fa nifonira’ Iehovà; mamantsiña, ry goledoñe lalekeo; mipoñafa sabo ry vohitseo, ry ala naho ze hatae ama’e ao; amy te jineba’ Iehovà t’Iakobe, vaho rengè’e t’Israele.
Sing, O heavens, for YHWH has worked, Shout, O lower parts of earth, Break forth, O mountains, with singing, Forest, and every tree in it, For YHWH has redeemed Jacob, And He beautifies Himself in Israel.
24 Hoe t’Iehovà Mpijeba’o, i nitsene azo an-koviñe aoy. Izaho Iehovà Andrianamboatse ze he’e; I mandafike o likerañeoy, Izaho raike; I mamelatse ty tane toiy, Izaho avao.
Thus said YHWH, your Redeemer, And your Framer from the womb: “I [am] YHWH, doing all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself, Spreading out the earth—who [is] with Me?
25 I mampijiañe ty sahà’ i remborakey, naho mahaboseke o mpisikilio; naho mampidisa-voly o mahihitseo, vaho mampigege o hilala’eoy;
Making void the tokens of devisers, And makes diviners mad, Turning the wise backward, And makes their knowledge foolish.
26 I mañatò ty saontsi’ i mpitoro’ey naho mañeneke ze atoro’ o ira’eoy; ie mitalily am’Ierosalaime ty hoe: Ho fimoneñañe; naho amo rova’ Iehodào: Hamboareñe, vaho hatroako o mangoakoake ama’eo.
Confirming the word of His servant, He perfects the counsel of His messengers, Who is saying of Jerusalem, She is inhabited, And of cities of Judah, They will be built, and her ruins I raise up,
27 Ie manao amy lalekey ty hoe: Maiha, vaho ho maiheko ka o saka’oo;
Who is saying to the deep, Be dry, and your rivers I cause to dry up,
28 Ie anoe’e ty hoe i Korese: Mpiarak’añondriko re, hanoe’e iaby ze mahafale ty troko; hanoe’e ty hoe t’Ierosalaime: Ho rafeteñe! naho i anjomban’ Añaharey: Haoreñe o mananta’oo.
Who is saying of Cyrus, My shepherd, And he perfects all My delight, So as to say of Jerusalem, You are built, And of the temple, You are founded.”
