< Isaia 43 >
1 Aa le hoe t’Iehovà namboatse azo, ry Iakobe, i nitsene azoy, ry Israele; ko hembañe fa nijebañe azo iraho, fa nikoihako ami’ty tahina’o, Ahiko irehe.
But now thus hath said the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; mine art thou.
2 Ie mitsake o ranoo irehe, hindrezako, ie miranga saka, tsy handipora’e; ie misorok’ afo am-pandia tsy ho mae, le tsy hiviañe ama’o ty firebareba’e.
Whenever thou passest through the waters, I am with thee; and through the rivers, —they shall not overflow thee: whenever thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be scorched; neither shall the flame burn on thee.
3 Izaho Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, t’i Masi’ Israele, i Mpijebañe azoy; natoloko ho vilin’ai’o ty Mitsraime, i Kose naho i Sebà ho azo.
For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour; I have given Egypt for thy ransom, Cush and Seba in place of thee.
4 Aa kanao sarotse am-pañenteako, naho mañeva asiñe, vaho kokoako; le lahilahy maro ty ho tolorako ho azo, vaho rofoko ho solom-piai’o.
Since thou art precious in my eyes, art honorable, and I indeed do love thee: therefore will I give men in place of thee, and nations instead of thy soul.
5 Ko hembañe, fa indrezako; hendeseko boak’atiñanañe añe ty tiri’o, vaho hatontoko boak’ ahandrefañe añe.
Fear not, for I am with thee; from the east will I bring thy seed, and from the west will I gather thee.
6 Hanao ty hoe iraho amy avaratsey: Hahao, naho ami’ty atimo: Ko tana’o, endeso boak’e tsietoitane añe o ana-dahikoo, naho boak’ añ’olo’ ty tane toy o anak’ampelakoo—
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Withhold not: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 ze hene kanjieñe ami’ty añarako, o tsineneko ho ami’ty engekoo, o naoreko vaho namboarekoo.
Every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory; whom I have formed; yea, whom I have made.
8 Akaro boak’ ao ondaty goa am-pihainoo, o giñe an-dravembiao.
Bring forward the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Hene mifanontone o kilakila’ ndatio, songa mivory ondatio; ia am’ iereo ty mahafitsey izay, hitaroñe aman-tika o raha haehaeo? Ampiboaho o valolombelo’ iareoo hahazoa’ iareo to; hijanjiñañe, hanoañe ty hoe: To izay.
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can announce this? and cause us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Inahareo ro valolombeloko, hoe t’Iehovà, naho ty mpitoroko jinoboko; hahafohina’ areo naho hatokisa’ areo ahy, haharendreke te Ie iraho; tsy eo ty ‘ndrahare niforoñeñe taoloko, vaho tsy eo ty hanonjohy ahy.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: in order that ye may know and believe me, and understand, that I am he; before me there was no god formed, and after me there will be none.
11 Izaho le Izaho avao t’Iehovà; le naho tsy Izaho, tsy eo ty mpandrombake.
I, I am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 Fa nitaroñe iraho, naho nandrombake, naho nañoke, te tsy aman’ Andrianañahare ila’e nahareo; aa le inahareo ro valolombeloko, hoe t’Iehovà, Izaho ro Andrianañahare.
I myself have announced it, and I have saved, and I have let it be heard, and there was no strange [god] among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and I am God.
13 Eka, boak’ amy àndro zay, le fa ie iraho, vaho tsy eo ty hahatavañe ty an-tañako; hitoloñe iraho, le ia ty mahasebañe.
Yea, from the [first] day am I he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: if I will work, is there one that can hinder it?
14 Hoe t’Iehovà mpijebañe anahareo, ty Masi’ Israele: inahareo ro nañitrifako e Bavele añe, le fonga nafotsako ho gike iareo naho o nte-Kasdy mitreñe o laka’eo.
Thus hath said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, For your sake did I send to Babylon, and in swift vessels brought I them all down, and the Chaldeans, in the ships of their joyful song.
15 Izaho Iehovà, Masi’ areo, i mpamboats’ Israeley, ty Mpanjaka’ areo.
I am the Lord, the Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
16 Aa hoe t’Iehovà mpamboatse lalañe mitsake i riakey, naho oloñoloñe mitoañe o rano mitroñeo;
Thus hath said the Lord, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 I mpañakatse i sarete reke-tsoavalaiy, o lahindefoñe naho haozara’eo— miharo fandreañe ao iereo, tsy hitroatse ka, fa mongotse, nakipeke hoe lamese.
Who bringeth forth chariot and horse, army and power: together shall they lie down, they shall not rise up again; they are extinct, like a wick are they quenched.
18 Ko mitsakore o raha taoloo, ko mañereñere o raha haehaeo.
Remember not the former things, and ancient events regard no more.
19 Heheke te manao raha vao iraho, hitiry ami’ty manao zao; aa tsy ho rendre’ areo hao? hanatahako lalañe ka ty am-patrañe añe, naho saka an-dratraratra ao.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; will ye not acknowledge it? I will even make in the wilderness a way, and in the desert rivers.
20 Hiasy ahy o biby an-kivokeo, o fanalokeo naho o voron-tsatrañeo, ty amo rano nanoeko am-patrañeo, naho o saka an-dratraratrao, hanjotsoako rano ondaty jinobokoo;
The beasts of the field shall honor me, the monsters and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my elect;
21 Ho talilie’ ondaty namboareko ho ahikoo, ty engeko.
This people which I have formed for myself; my praise shall they relate.
22 Fe tsy nikanjy ahy nahareo, ry Iakobe, namokoreko nahareo ry Israele.
But on me hast thou not called, O Jacob; for thou art become weary of me, O Israel.
23 Tsy nisoroña’o ty añondri’o; tsy niasia’o amo engaeñeo; tsy nampijinieko engan-kaneñe, tsy nivozaheko ami’ty tsotse.
Thou hast not brought unto me the lamb of thy burnt-offerings; and with thy sacrifices hast thou not honored me: I have not troubled thee with meat-offerings, nor wearied thee with frankincense.
24 Tsy nibanabana’o fare naho drala, tsy nahaeneñ’ Ahy ty safom-pisoroña’o; te mone nampavesare’o amako o tahi’oo, vaho namokore’o amo hakeo’oo.
Thou hast not bought for me sweet cane, and with the fat of thy sacrifices hast thou not satisfied me; but thou hast troubled me with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.
25 Izaho le Izaho avao ty namaoke o fiolà’o amakoo. vaho tsy ho tiahiko ka o hakeo’oo.
I, it is I that blot out thy transgressions for my own sake, and thy sins I will not remember.
26 Ajoño am-pitiahia’o ao iraho, antao hifaneseke; mitalilia hahazoa’o to.
Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: relate thou, in order that thou mayest be justified.
27 Nandilatse i rae’o valoha’ey, vaho manan-kakeo amako ondati-aivo’oo;
Thy first father did sin, and they that plead for thee transgressed against me.
28 Aa le vinetako o ana-dona’ i toetse miavakeio, nengaeko am-patse t’Iakobe, vaho an-teratera t’Israele.
Therefore do I profane the holy princes, and I give up Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
