< Isaia 39 >

1 Ie amy zay, nampañitrike taratasy naho ravoravo am’ Iekizkia t’i Merodak-baladane ana’ i Baladane, mpanjaka’ i Bavele; amy te jinanji’e t’ie natindry vaho nibodañe.
At that time, Marduk-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he heard that he had been sick, and had recovered.
2 Nifale t’Iekizkia vaho natoro’e iareo ty trañom-bara’e, ty volafoty, ty volamena, naho o fampafiriañeo, i menake sarotsey naho i trañom-pikalaña’e iabiy naho ze hene nioniñe amo vara’eo; tsy añ’anjomba’e ao ndra am-pifehea’e iaby ty tsy natoro’e.
Hezekiah was pleased with them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah did not show them.
3 Aa le niheo mb’ am’ Iekizkia mb’eo t’Iesaià nanao ty hoe: Ino ty nisaontsia’ indaty rey? Le aia ty nihirifa’ iareo te nimb’ ama’o? Le hoe t’Iekizkia: Boak’ am-pifelehañe tsietoitane añe t’ie nimb’ amako mb’ etoy; hirike e Bavele añe.
Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and asked him, "What did these men say? Where did they come from to you?" Hezekiah said, "They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon."
4 Le hoe re: Ino ty niisa’ iareo añ’anjomba’o ao? Nanoiñe ty hoe t’Iekizkia: Fonga niisa’ iereo ze añ’anjombako ao, tsy amo varakoo ty tsy nitoroako.
Then he asked, "What have they seen in your house?" Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them."
5 Aa le hoe t’Iesaià am’ Iekizkia: Janjiño ty tsara’ Iehovà’ i Màroy:
Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of Jehovah of hosts:
6 Toe ho avy ty andro, te hendeseñe mb’e Bavele mb’eo ze he’e añ’ anjomba’o ao naho o vara nahajan-droae’o ho ami’ty andro toio, leo raike tsy hapoke, hoe t’Iehovà.
'Look, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,' says Jehovah.
7 Le o anake hiboak’ ama’oo, o hasama’oo, ro hasese mb’eo ho vositse añ’ anjombam-panjaka’ i Bavele ao.
'They will take away your descendants who will issue from you, whom you shall father, and they will be eunuchs in the king of Babylon's palace.'"
8 Le hoe ty natoi’ Iekizkia am’ Iesaià: Soa i tsara’ Iehovà nisaontsie’oy, ie nañereñere ty hoe; Amy te hanjo fierañerañañe naho havañonan-draho amo androkoo.
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "Jehovah's word which you have spoken is good." He said moreover, "For there will be peace and truth in my days."
