< Isaia 35 >
1 Hifale ty ratraratra naho ty paipaiñe, hirebeke i vavataney, vaho hitaroke hoe dokonose;
The wilderness and dry land will celebrate; the desert will blossom like the crocus.
2 Handrevake re vaho hirañaraña an-drebeke naho sabo; hatolots’aze ty enge’ i Lebanone, ty hafanjàka’ i Karmele naho i Sarone; hahaisake ty enge’ Iehovà iereo, ty volonahen’ Añaharen-tika.
Bloom profusely, celebrate and sing! The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.
3 Haozaro o fitàn-kengeo le hafatraro o ongotse mikoletrao,
Make the weak hands strong, and make the trembling knees firm!
4 Ano ty hoe o embetse an-trokeo: Manintsiña, ko hembañe! hehe te ho avy t’i Andrianañahare’ areo, aman-tambe naho famalean’ Añahare handrombake.
Tell those who are frightened, “Be strong! Don't be afraid! Look, your God is coming to punish his enemies, with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
5 Le hibeake ty fihaino’ o goao naho ho sokafeñe ty ravembia’ o gìñeo;
When that happens, the blind will see, and the deaf will hear.
6 Hitsamboañe hoe hirañe ty kepeke vaho hisabo an-kaehake ty famele’ o moañeo; higoangoañan-drano ty fatrambey naho ty torahañe am-bavatane eo.
The lame will jump like a deer, and the dumb will sing for joy. Springs will gush in the wilderness; streams will flow in the desert.
7 Hifotetse ho antara ty tane maike, naho rano manganahana o paipaiñeo, hitiria’ ty vinda o korontsom-panalokeo, vaho handimbe o ahetseo ty tongoahara naho ty sale.
The dried-up ground will become like a pool, the arid land like water springs. In the place where jackals used to live, there will be grass and reeds and rushes.
8 Ho eo ty lalan-gadagadañe, ty fañaveloañe hatao ty hoe ty Lala-Piavahañe, tsy homb’ama’e ty tsy malio; ie ho amo mpañavelo amy lalañey, vaho tsy hihezeñe aze ty dagola.
There will be a highway there, a road called “The Way of Holiness.” Nobody bad will travel on it, only those who follow the Way. Fools will not go there.
9 Tsy ho ama’e ty liona, tsy hanganike ama’e ty biby romotse; tsy ho zoeñe ao iereo, fa ho fañaveloa’ o jinebañeo
No lions or other dangerous animals will be found there on the road—only the redeemed will walk along it.
10 le himpoly o vinili’ Iehovào, hipoña-tsabo mb’e Tsione mb’eo; naho hafaleañe tsy modo ty ho añ’ambone’ iareo; Hitendreke firebehañe naho haravoañe vaho hihelañe añe ty hontoke naho ty fiselekaiñañe.
Those the Lord has set free will return, singing as they enter Jerusalem, wearing crowns of everlasting joy. They are overcome with thankfulness and happiness; sorrow and sadness simply disappear.
