< Isaia 3 >
1 Hehek’ arè te afaha’ Iehovà Talè’ i màroy am’ Iehodà naho am’ Ierosalaime ty fitoñoñe naho ty kobay, ze mahakama an-driha ao iaby, naho ze hene haja rano,
For behold, the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, Is turning aside from Jerusalem and from Judah [Both] stay and staff: Every stay of bread and every stay of water;
2 Ty fanalolahy naho ty lahindefoñe, ty mpizaka naho ty mpitoky, ty mpisikily naho ty androanavy,
Mighty and man of war, judge and prophet, And diviner and elderly,
3 Ty mpifeleke limampolo naho ty manan-kasy, ty mpanolo-kevetse, ty kalitake vaho ty mahay lañonañe.
Head of fifty, and accepted of faces, And counselor, and wise craftsmen, And discerning charmer.
4 Ho tolorako ajaja ho roandria’e, ho felehe’ o anak’ajajao iereo.
And I have made youths their heads, And sucklings rule over them.
5 Ho forekekèñe ondatio, sindre ondaty ami’ty ilae’e, songa ami’ty rañe’e hijiajia amo androanavio ty ajaja, naho amo vañoñeo ty tembo.
And the people has exacted—man on man, Even a man on his neighbor, The youths enlarge themselves against the aged, And the lightly esteemed against the honored.
6 Le hangazoñe t’indaty ty rahalahi’e añ’anjomban-drae’e ao: Manan-tsikin-drehe: feheo zahay, le angao ho ambane’ fità’o eo ty fianto toy.
When one lays hold on his brother, Of the house of his father, [by] the garment, “Come, you are a ruler to us, And this ruin [is] under your hand.”
7 Hifanta amy andro zay re: Izaho tsy ho mpanaha; amy te tsy ama-mahakama ndra saroñe ty an-trañoko ao, aa le ko ampifehè’o ahy ondatio.
He lifts up, in that day, saying, “I am not a binder up, And in my house is neither bread nor garment, You do not make me a ruler of the people.”
8 Amy te nikoletra t’Ierosalaime nihotrake t’Iehodà: songa mandietse Iehovà ty fameleke naho ty fitoloñañe, hanigike o fihainon-enge’eo.
For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, For their tongue and their doings [are] against YHWH, To provoke the eyes of His glory.
9 Manisý iareo ty vintan-dahara’ iareo; ie misenge hakeo manahak’ i Sedome, tsy aeta’ iareo. Hekoheko amo tro’ iareoo, fa nikai-kankàñe am-bata’e.
The appearance of their faces witnessed against them, And their sin, as Sodom, they declared, They have not hidden! Woe to their soul, For they have done evil to themselves.
10 Misaontsia amo vantañeo ty hoe, Soa! fa ho kamae’e o vokam-pitoloña’eo.
Say to the righteous that [it is] good, Because they eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Feh’ohatse amo lo-tserekeo: ho silofeñe: fa havahañe ama’e o satam-pità’eo.
Woe to the wicked—evil, Because the deed of his hand is done to him.
12 Le ty am’ondatikoo, ty ajaja ro talè’e, naho ampela ro mpifeleke. O ry ondatikoo, ampandilare’ o mpifehe’areoo, abotse’iereo o lala ho norihe’areoo.
My people—its exactors [are] sucklings, And women have ruled over it. My people—your eulogists are causing to err, And the way of your paths swallowed up.
13 Miongake t’Iehovà hitaroñe, mijohañe eo hizaka ondatio.
YHWH has stood up to plead, And He is standing to judge the peoples.
14 Ho zakae’ Iehovà o androanavi’ondati’eoo naho o roandria’eo; Amy te nabea’ areo i tanem-balobokey; añ’anjomba’areo ao o tinavañe amo rarakeo.
YHWH enters into judgment With [the] elderly of His people, and its heads: “And you, you have consumed the vineyard, Plunder of the poor [is] in your houses.
15 Ino ty atao’ areo, kanao mampidemoke ondatikoo, vaho mandisañe ty lahara’ o rarakeo? hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè’ i màroy.
Why? Why do you [do this]? You bruise My people, And you grind the faces of the poor.” A declaration of the Lord, YHWH of Hosts, And YHWH says:
16 Mbore tinovo’ Iehovà ty hoe: Kanao mitoandratoandra o anak’ampela’ i Tsioneo, naho miebotsebotse am-bozo midagarìtse naho ama-maso mikiroke, ie mitsapiotsapiok’ am-piotroñañe, vaho am-pikantsakantsañañe ty tombo’ iareo,
“Because that daughters of Zion have been haughty, And they walk stretching out the neck, And deceiving [with] the eyes, They go walking and mincing, And they make a jingling with their feet,
17 le ho silofe’ i Talè lañao ty an-gadon-doha’ o anak’ampela’ i Tsioneo, vaho habora’ Iehovà ty fimeñara’ iareo.
The Lord has also scabbed The crown of the head of daughters of Zion, And YHWH exposes their simplicity.
18 Hafaha’ i Talè amy andro zay o mohara soa’ iareo mikorìñeo, o ravak’ an-doha’eo, o tsiandetse bontolio,
In that day the Lord turns aside The beauty of the jingling ornaments, And of the embroidered works, And of the crescents,
19 o rojoo, o bangebangeo o saron-doha mihofahofao,
Of the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils,
20 o satro-beio, o ravam-pandiao, o ravan-dohao, o fibandian’arañañeo, o kiviroo,
Of the headdresses, and the ornaments of the legs, And of the bands, And of the perfume boxes, and the amulets,
21 o bangeo naho o kavin’ oroñeo,
Of the seals, and of the nose-rings,
22 o saravio, naho o salampiñeo, o kitambio naho o haro-pitintiñañeo,
Of the costly apparel, and of the mantles, And of the coverings, and of the purses,
23 o hetsoroo, o lamba leny marerarerao, o sabakao vaho o tsingarakarakeo.
Of the mirrors, and of the linen garments, And of the hoods, and of the veils,
24 Ho tondroke te ho limbeze’ ty fitrotrotse ty harifondrifoñe; handimbe ty fiètse ty hàfotse; handimbe ty volo mirandra ty loha peake; handimbe ty marerarera ty gony; hisolo ty montramontra ty soba.
And it has been, instead of spice is muck, And instead of a girdle, a rope, And instead of curled work, baldness, And instead of a stomacher a girdle of sackcloth.
25 Ho zamaneñe am-pibara o lahilahi’oo, an-kotakotak’ ao o lahindefo’oo.
For instead of glory, your men fall by sword, And your might in battle.
26 Handala naho hangololoike o lalam-bei’eo; ho farien-dre le hitozoke an-tane eo.
And her openings have lamented and mourned, Indeed, she has been emptied, she sits on the earth!”
