< Isaia 10 >
1 Hankàñe amo manampa-pepètse tsivokatseo, naho o mampipatetse famorekekeañeo;
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness [which] they have prescribed;
2 Ty mampivike o misotrio tsy hahazoa’e to, vaho mitavañe ty zo’ o rarake am’ondatikoo, hihaofa’ iareo o vantotseo, hitsatsà’ iareo o bode-raeo!
To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and [that] they may rob the fatherless!
3 Aa le ino ty hanoe’ areo amy androm-pitilihañey, naho amy hekoheko hifetsake boak’añey? fa hipay imba ama’ia nahareo? vaho hapo’ areo aia ty vara’ areo?
And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation [which] shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
4 Ino ty hanoeñe, naho tsy hitsilofìñe amo tsinepakeo, ndra hitsingoritritse amo vinonoo? Amy hoe zay iaby, mboe tsy mitolike ty haviñera’e, mbore mbe mitora-kitsy ty fità’e.
Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.
5 O Asore, kobain-kaviñerakoo, ry dodan-katorifihako am-pità’ iareoo:
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 Hiraheko haname ty fifeheañe tsy vokatse, hafantoko am’ondaty iviñerakoo, hikopaha’e naho hitsindroha’e vaho handialia’e hoe fotake an-dalañe eo.
I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Tsy apota’e izay, toe tsy am-pitsakorean-tro’e; fe ty handrotsake ro firefea’e, ty hañito fifeheañe maro.
Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but [it is] in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 Fa hoe re: Tsy songa mpanjaka hao o roandriakoo?
For he saith, [Are] not my princes altogether kings?
9 Tsy hambañe amy Karkemise hao ty Kalnè? Naho amy Kamate ty Arpade? Vaho amy Damesèke ty Somerone?
[Is] not Calno as Carchemish? [is] not Hamath as Arpad? [is] not Samaria as Damascus?
10 Manahake ty nitakaran-tañako o borizañe an-tsamposampo tsieo, ie maro te amo hazomanga e Ierosalaime naho e Someroneo.
As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 Aa tsy hanoeko am’ Ierosalaime naho o hazomanga’eo hao, ty nanoeko amy Somerone reketse o hazomanga’eo?
Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Aa le ho tondroke te ie nihenefa’ i Talè ty fitoloña’e am-bohi’ i Tsioney eo naho am’ Ierosalaime eo, le hanao ty hoe: Ho liloveko o vokan’ arofo irengevoha’ i mpanjaka’ i Asoreio naho o engen-dahara’e mievoñevoñeo,
Wherefore it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
13 ami’ty nanoe’e ty hoe: Ami’ty haozaran-tàñako naho ami’ty hihiko ty nanoako izay, toe mahilala iraho; fonga nafahako ty efe-tane’ondatio naho nikamereko ty vara’ iareo, vaho nampitsingoro o mpimone’ iareoo hoe asam-panalolahy;
For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man: ]
14 Le nitakaren-tañako manahake te nitrañom-boroñe ty vara’ ze hene ondaty; hoe fitontonan-atoly naforintseñe ty nanontonako ty tane toy iaby; tsy teo ty nañetseke elatse, ndra nanoka-bava, ndra nivolañe.
And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs [that are] left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
15 Hiebotsebotse amy mitañ’azey hao ty fekoñe? Hitsingevongevo amy mandronje azey hao ty lasý? Manahake ty kobaiñe manjonjoñe ty mivontititse ama’e, naho ty fitoñoñe mañongake ty raha tsy hatae.
Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? [or] shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake [itself] against them that lift it up, [or] as if the staff should lift up [itself, as if it were] no wood.
16 Aa le hañitrike haborokàñe amo vondra’eo t’i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy; le ho viañeñe ambane’ i enge’ey eo ty hatomomohañe hoe afo mamorototo.
Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 Hinjare afo ty failo’ Israele naho lel’afo i Masi’ey; hiforehetse hampitomontoñe o fati’eo naho o hisa’eo añate ty andro raike.
And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
18 Ty enge’ i ala’ey naho i tete’e kobokaray ty hagodra’e troke naho tsandriñe; manahake ty finiha’ t’indaty siloke.
And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
19 Ho tsiampe ty hatae sisa añ’ala’e ao, ndra ajaja ty hahavolily aze.
And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 Ho tondroke amy andro zay te tsy hiato amy namofoke iareo ty sengaha’ Israele naho o nandrifitse amy anjomba’ Iakobeio; fe Iehovà Masi’ Israele ty hiatoa’ iareo ami’ty hatò.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 Himpoly ty sehanga’e, ty honka’ Iakobe, mb’aman’ Añahare Tsitongereñe.
The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 Fa ndra te mira ami’ty faseñe an-driakey ondati’oo ry Israele, ty sehanga’e avao ty himpoly; fa fanjamanañe lifo-kavañonañe ty tinendre.
For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, [yet] a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 Famongorañe do’e, toe najadoñe, ty hafetsa’ i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy, añ’ivo i tane iabiy.
For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Aa le hoe t’i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy: O ry ondatiko mpimoneñe e Tsioneo, ko hembañe amy Asore, ndra te fofohe’e an-doda, naho añonjona’e kobay handafà’e azo ami’ty sata’ i Mitsraime.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
25 Fa hanintsiñe aniany o heloko miforoforoo, vaho ho amy fandrotsahañe iareoy ty habosehako.
For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
26 Le ho tsekafe’ Iehovà’ i Màroy ama’e ty karavantsy, manahake ty nanjamanañe i Midiane am-bato’ i Orebe añe; naho ho ambone’ i riakey ey ty kobai’e, vaho honjone’e manahake ty nanoe’e amy Mitsraime.
And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and [as] his rod [was] upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 Ie amy andro zay, hihintsañe tsy ho antsoro’o eo ty kilanka’e, naho tsy ho an-kàto’o eo ty joka’e, toe hipozake amy havondrahañey i jokay.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
28 Fa nivotrak’e Aiate re, fa nirangae’e ty Migrone; e Mikmase ao ty nampipoha’e o harao’eo;
He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
29 Nitsahe’ iereo i hebam-bohitsey; nialeñe e Gèbà añe; nihondrahondra t’i Ramae; nibotafotse añe ty Gibae’ i Saole.
They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Mampikoiaha feo ry anak’ ampela’ i Galime: manokilaña ravembia ry Laise! Ry Anatote mahaferenaiñeo!
Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
31 Fa nivoratsake ty Madmenae; fa mitsoloke o mpimone’ i Gebimeo.
Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
32 Hitofa e Nobe ao re te anito, hañonjo-haok’ amy vohi’ i anak’ampela’ i Tsione an-kaboa’ Ierosalaimey.
As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand [against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Eka, ho birae’ i Talè, Iehovà’ i Màroy an-kaviñerañe o tsampa’eo; le ho firaeñe añe o mijoalao, vaho ho tomoreñe o mininginingio.
Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature [shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 Ho firae’e am-biñe o ala matahetseo, le hideboñe hoe fanalolahy t’i Lebanone.
And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
