1 Antao arè hañeveñe, hera ho zoeñ’ ama’ iaia ama’areo, t’ie nilesa amy fampitamañe mbe añey: ty fizilihañe amy fitofà’ey ao.
Let vs feare therefore, least at any time by forsaking the promise of entring into his rest, any of you should seeme to be depriued.
2 Toe nitaroñeñe aman-tika manahake te tam’ iereo i talili-soay; fe tsy nahasoa iareo i tsara nitaroñeñey, amy t’ie tsy natrao’ o nijanjiñeo fatokisañe.
For vnto vs was the Gospel preached as also vnto them: but the worde that they heard, profited not them, because it was not mixed with faith in those that heard it.
3 Itika miantokeo ro mizilik’ amy fitofàñey, (ty amy tsinara’e ty hoe, Ie nifantàko an-kabosehañe t’ie tsy himoak’ amy fitofakoy ao.) ndra te nifanehafeñe boak’ am-pifotora’ ty voatse toy o fitoloñañeo.
For we which haue beleeued, doe enter into rest, as he said to the other, As I haue sworne in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest: although the workes were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 Fa eo ty tsaraeñe ty amy faha-fitoy ty hoe: Nitroatse amo hene fitoloña’eo, ami’ty andro faha-fito t’i Andrianañahare.
For he spake in a certaine place of the seuenth day on this wise, And God did rest the seuenth day from all his workes.
5 Le tinovo’e ty hoe: Tsy himoak’ amy fitofàkoy iereo.
And in this place againe, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Aa kanao mbe hizilike ao ty ila’e, naho nilesa ka tsy nizilik’ ao ty amy fanjeharañey o nitaroñeñe valoha’eo,
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter thereinto, and they to whom it was first preached, entred not therein for vnbeliefes sake:
7 le nañoriza’e andro indraike atao Anito amy nampisaontsie’e i Davide haehae atoiy amy tsara’ey ty hoe: Anito, naho janji’areo ty fiarañanaña’e ko mampientetse arofo.
Againe he appointed in Dauid a certaine day, by To day, after so long a time, saying, as it is sayd, This day, if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts.
8 Aa naho nitolora’ i Josoa fitofàñe, tsy ho nitalilie’e andro ila’e afara.
For if Iesus had giuen them rest, then would he not after this haue spoke of an other day.
9 Inao, toe mbe eo ho a ondatin’ Añahareo ty fañambenañe Sabotse;
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 amy te mitofa amo fitoloña’eo ty mizilik’ amy Sabotse’ey, hambañe aman’ Añahare amy azey.
For he that is entred into his rest, hath also ceased from his owne works, as God did from his.
11 Antao arè himane fizilik’ amy fitofàñey, tsy mone hikapotrake am-pitsikombeañe i fanjeharañey.
Let vs studie therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same ensample of disobedience.
12 Toe veloñe naho mahatafetetse o tsaran’ Añahareo, masioñe te amy ze fibara sambelela’e, mitrofake pak’ ami’ty fifamitraña’ ty fañova ami’ty arofo, naho o fangeo amo betro’eo; naho mahatsikarake o fivetsevetse naho safirin’ arofoo,
For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, and sharper then any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.
13 vaho tsy eo ty namboareñe ze mietake ama’e; fa kila miborake naho mivendratse am-pihaino’ i hamolily an-tikañey.
Neither is there any creature, which is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open vnto his eyes, with whome we haue to doe.
14 Aa kanao amam-Pisorom-bey nahafiranga o likerañeo tika, toe Iesoà Anan’ Añahare, le antao hifahatse ami’ty iantofan-tikañe.
Seeing then that wee haue a great hie Priest, which is entred into heauen, euen Iesus the Sonne of God, let vs holde fast our profession.
15 Amy t’ie tsy amam-Pisorombey tsy mahay milèñ’ arofo amo halemèn-tikañeo, ie nizizieñe amy ze he’e manahak’ itika, fe tsy aman-tahiñe.
For we haue not an hie Priest, which can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all things tempted in like sort, yet without sinne.
16 Antao arè hahasibeke hitotoke mb’amy fiambesan-kasoay, hiferenaiñañe, naho hitretrezañe an-tsan-kasotriañe.
Let vs therefore goe boldly vnto ye throne of grace, that we may receiue mercy, and finde grace to helpe in time of neede.
