2 Ry Iehovà, fa tsinanoko i nilañona’oy vaho hemban-draho; sotraho o fitoloña’oo ry Iehovà, añivon’andro zao; ampahafohino anteñateñan-tsa, ihe viñetse mahatiahia fiferenaiñañe.
O Lord, I have heard your report, and was afraid: I considered your works, and was amazed: you shall be known between the two living creatures, you shall be acknowledged when the years draw near; you shall be manifested when the time is come; when my soul is troubled, you will in wrath remember mercy.
3 Niboak’ amy Temane t’i Andrianañahare, hirik’am-bohi-Parane i Masiñey. (Selah) nanitsike o likerañeo ty volonahe’e, nandramban-tane ty enge’e.
God shall come from Thaeman, and the Holy One from the dark shady mount Pharan. (Pause)
4 Mireandreañe hoe i àndroy; mitsipelatsipelatse ty fità’e; mikafitse ao i haozara’ey.
His excellence covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. And his brightness shall be as light; [there were] horns in his hands, and he caused a mighty love of his strength.
5 Miaolo Aze ty angorosy, mimilemiletse am-pandia’eo ty afo.
Before his face shall go a report, and it shall go forth into the plains,
6 Ie mijohañe, manginikinike i taney, Ie mivazoho, minevenevetse o fifeheañeo; mikoromak’ amy zao o vohitse nainai’eo, mibokoke o haboañe haehaeo, aze o lalañe haehae’eo.
the earth stood at his feet and trembled: he saw, and the nations melted away: the mountains were violently burst through, the everlasting hills melted at his everlasting going forth.
7 Treako te misotry o kiboho’ i Kosìo, nititititike o lamban-dalan-kiboho’ i Midianeo.
Because of troubles I looked upon the tents of the Ethiopians: the tabernacles also of the land of Madiam shall be dismayed.
8 Ry Iehovà, nañatsembe Azo hao o sakao? Niviñera’o hao o torahañeo? Nampiforoforo Azo hao i riakey? t’ie miningitse soavala naho saretem-pandrombahañe.
Was you angry, O Lord, with the rivers? or [was] your wrath against the rivers, or your anger against the sea? for you will mount on your horses, and your chariots are salvation.
9 Zonjoñe’o ty taram-pale’o, lilie’o ho liforen’ ana-pale. Selà Torie’o amo sakao ty tane toy.
Surely you did bend they bow at scepters, says the Lord. (Pause) The land of rivers shall be torn asunder.
10 Nahaisak’ azo o vohitseo le nihembañe, nanginahina i sorotombakey, nampipoña-peo i lalekey, vaho naonjo’e mb’añ’abo o taña’eo.
The nations shall see you and be in pain, [as you do] divide the moving waters: the deep uttered her voice, and raised her form on high.
11 Nijihetse añ’akiba’e eo i àndroy naho i volañey, ami’ty filoeloea’ o ana-pale’o nihiririñe mb’eoo, naho ami’ty fimilomiloran-defo’o.
The sun was exalted, and the moon stood still in her course: your darts shall go forth at the light, at the brightness of the gleaming of your arms.
12 Linialia’o an-kaviñerañe i taney; trinabotrabo’o an-keloke o kilakila’ndatio.
You will bring low the land with threatening, and in wrath you will break down the nations.
13 Nionjomb’eo irehe handrombake ondati’oo, hamotsotse i Noriza’oy; dinemo’o ty loha-traño’ o tsivokatseo, nampikorendahe’o boak’ ami’ty manàntañe pak’am-bozo’e. Selà
You went forth for the salvation of your people, to save your anointed: you shall bring death on the heads of transgressors; you has brought bands upon [their] neck. (Pause)
14 Trinofa’o amo kobai’eo avao ty loha’ o mpifehe’eo, o mpivovo amako hoe tangololahio; ie miankahake hampibotseke o mahaferenaiñeo añ’etake ao.
You did cut asunder the heads of princes with amazement, they shall tremble in it; they shall burst their bridles, [they shall be] as a poor man devouring in secret.
15 Linialia’o amo soavala’oo i riakey amy fitoaboran-drano bey heneheney.
And you do cause your horses to enter the sea, disturbing much water.
16 Tsinanoko le ninevenevetse ty troko, nampititititike o soñikoo i fiarañanañañey, nizilik’ an-taolako ao ty fimomohañe, nihondrahondra iraho am-pijohañako eo handiñisako i andro hankàñey, ty hitroara’ o haname anaio.
I watched, and my belly trembled at the sound of the prayer of my lips, and trembling entered into my bones, and my frame was troubled within me; I will rest in the day of affliction, from going up to the people of my sojourning.
17 Aa ndra te tsy mamòñe i sakoañey, naho tsy mamoa o vaheo; mianto te mitoloñe amo oliveo, tsy mamokatse haneñe o tetekeo, aitoañe amo golobo’eo o añondrio, vaho po-pirai-tròke ty an-jolok’ ao,
For [though] the fig tree shall bear no fruit, and there shall be no produce on the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall produce no food: the sheep have failed from the pasture, and there are no oxen at the cribs;
18 mbe hirebek’am’ Iehovà nainai’e raho handia-taroba aman’ Añaharem-pandrombahañ’ ahy.
yet I will exult in the Lord, I will joy in God my Saviour.
19 Haozarako t’Iehovà Andrianañahareko hanoe’e tombon-tsarake o tombokoo, hanjotike an-kaboañe ey. Ho amy talèn-tsakèray: anoeñe am-pititihañe.
The Lord God is my strength, and he will perfectly strengthen my feet; he mounts me upon high places, that I may conquer by his song.
