1 Tam-pifotorañ’ añe, namboaren’ Añahare o likerañeo naho ty tane toy,
In the beginning God created the heauen and the earth.
2 ie amy zay tsy amam‑bintañe naho kòake ty tane toy naho nimoromoroñe ty an-tarehe’ i lalekey, vaho nihelahela ambone’ o ranoo t’i Arofon’ Añahare.
And the earth was without forme and void, and darkenesse was vpon the deepe, and the Spirit of God mooued vpon the waters.
3 Hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Ampiloneahan-kazavàñe; le nisodehan-kazavàñe.
Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.
4 Nivazohon’ Añahare i hazavañey te nisoa, le navahen’ Añahare amy ieñey i hazavàñey,
And God saw the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
5 nataon’ Añahare ty hoe Andro i hazavàñey vaho nanoe’e ty hoe Haleñe i ieñey. I haleñey vaho i antoandroy—ty andro valoha’e.
And God called the Light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
6 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Ampiboahan-dañelañe añivo’ o ranoo hisitaha’ ty rano ami’ty rano.
Againe God said, Let there be a firmament in the mids of the waters: and let it separate the waters from the waters.
7 Aa le namboaren’ Añahare i lañelañey vaho navì’e amy rano ambone’ i lañelañey ty rano ambane’ i lañelañey. Le izay ty ie.
Then God made the firmament, and separated the waters, which were vnder the firmament, from the waters which were aboue the firmament: and it was so.
8 Nataon’ Añahare ty hoe likerañe i lañelañey. I haleñey vaho i antoandroy—ty andro faharoe.
And God called the firmament Heauen. So the Euening and the morning were the second day.
9 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Hatontoñe antoetse raike o rano ambane’ i likerañeio hiboaha’ ty tane maike. Le iizay ty ie.
God said againe, Let the waters vnder the heauen be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appeare. and it was so.
10 Nataon’Añahare ty hoe Tane i maikey, naho ty hoe Riake o rano nifanontoñeo, le nivazohon’Añahare te soa.
And God called the dry land, Earth, and he called the gathering together of the waters, Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 Aa le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Ampitiriañ’ ahetse i taney, rongoñe mamoa voa naho hatae mamoa voa rekets’ àta’e ty amy karaza’ey. Le izay ty ie.
Then God said, Let the earth bud forth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seed, the fruitfull tree, which beareth fruite according to his kinde, which hath his seede in it selfe vpon the earth: and it was so.
12 Aa le nitirian’ ahetse ty tane toy, rongoñe mamoa voa ty amy karaza’ey, vaho hatae mamoa voa rekets’ àta’e, ty amy karaza’ey. Le nivazohon’ Añahare te soa.
And the earth brought foorth the bud of the herbe, that seedeth seede according to his kind, also the tree that beareth fruit, which hath his seed in it selfe according to his kinde: and God saw that it was good.
13 I haleñey vaho i antoandroy—ty andro fahatelo.
So the euening and the morning were the third day.
14 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Ampiboaheñe failo i lañelañen-dikerañey hañavake ty antoandro ami’ty haleñe ho vintañe naho famotoañañe naho andro vaho taoñe;
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heauen, to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signes, and for seasons, and for dayes and yeeres.
15 ho jiro amy lañelañen-dikerañey hañilo ty tane toy. Le iizay ty ie.
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heauen to giue light vpon the earth: and it was so.
16 Le namboaren’ Añahare ty jiro roe jabajaba—hifehe ty andro ty jiro bey naho hifehe ty haleñe ty jiro zai’e—vaho o vasiañeo.
God then made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesse light to rule the night: he made also the starres.
17 Aa le napon’Añahare amy lañelañen-dikerañey iereo hañilo ty tane toy
And God set them in the firmament of the heauen, to shine vpon the earth,
18 hamehe ty andro naho ty haleñe vaho hañavake i ieñey amy hazavàñey. Nivazohon’ Añahare te soa.
And to rule in the day, and in the night, and to separate the light from the darkenesse: and God saw that it was good.
19 I haleñey vaho i antoandroy—ty andro fah’ efatse.
So the euening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Ampifamorohoteñe raha veloñe hangetseketseke o ranoo, naho ampitiliñem-boroñe ty ambone’ tane toy an-tarehe’ i lañelañen-dindìñ’ey.
Afterward God said, Let the waters bring foorth in abundance euery creeping thing that hath life: and let the foule flie vpon the earth in the open firmament of the heauen.
21 Le namboaren’ Añahare o fañanen-driakeo naho ze hene raha veloñe mihetseke, mifamorohotse amo ranoo, ty amy karaza’ey, naho ze hene voroñe reketse elatse ty amy karaza’ey. Le nivazohon’ Añahare te soa.
Then God created the great whales, and euery thing liuing and mouing, which the waters brought foorth in abundance according to their kinde, and euery fethered foule according to his kinde: and God sawe that it was good.
22 Nitatan’ Añahare iereo ami’ ty hoe: Manaranàha le mangetseketseha, atsafo o ranon-driakeo, vaho ampangorokitsiheñe voroñe ty an-tane atoy.
Then God blessed them, saying, Bring foorth fruite and multiplie, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the foule multiplie in the earth.
23 I haleñey vaho i antoandroy —ty andro faha-lime.
So the euening and the morning were the fifte day.
24 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Hampanaranàheñe an-tane atoy ze raha veloñe iaby ty amy karaza’ey: o hareo, naho o raha milalio naho ze hene bibi’ ty tane toy, ty amo karaza’eo. Vaho iizay ty ie.
Moreouer God said, Let the earth bring foorth the liuing thing according to his kinde, cattel, and that which creepeth, and the beast of the earth, according to his kinde. and it was so.
25 Le namboaren’ Añahare o bibi’ ty tane toio amo karaza’eo, naho ze karazan’ añombe iaby vaho ze hene karaza-biby misitsitse an-tane atoy. Le nivazohon’ Añahare te soa.
And God made the beast of the earth according to his kinde, and the cattell according to his kinde, and euery creeping thing of the earth according to his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare: Antao hamboatse ondaty hambam-bintañ’ aman-tikañe, hifañoronkoroñe aman-tika, hifehe o fian-driakeo naho o voron-tiokeo naho o bibio naho ty tane toy iaby vaho ze biby misitsitse an-tane atoy.
Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.
27 Aa le namboaren’ Añahare mirai-bintañe ama’e t’indaty, hambam-bintañe aman’ Añahare ty namboare’e aze, lahilahy naho ampela ty nitsene’e iareo.
Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created them male and female.
28 Nitataen’ Añahare iereo, le hoe t’i Andrianañahare ama’e: Manaranàha le mangetseketseha naho atsefo ty tane toy vaho feleho; le feheo o fian-driakeo naho o voron-tiokeo vaho ze biby misitsitse an-tane atoy.
And God blessed them, and God said to them, Bring forth fruite and multiplie, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer euery beast that moueth vpon the earth.
29 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare, Heheke te natoloko anahareo ze hene ahetse mamoa ambone’ ty tane toy, naho ze fonga hatae mamoa rekets’ àta’e ty am-po’e ao, ho fikama’areo.
And God said, Beholde, I haue giuen vnto you euery herbe bearing seede, which is vpon al the earth, and euery tree, wherein is the fruite of a tree bearing seede: that shall be to you for meate.
30 Aa ty amo hene bibi’ ty tane toio naho ze fonga voron-tioke vaho ze raha misitsitse an-tane atoy, ze kila raha veloñe, le nimeako ze hene ahets’antsetra ho haneñe. Le izay ty ie.
Likewise to euery beast of the earth, and to euery foule of the heauen, and to euery thing that moueth vpon the earth, which hath life in it selfe, euery greene herbe shall be for meate. and it was so.
31 Nivazohon’ Añahare o raha namboare’e iabio le hehe te soa. I haleñey vaho i antoandroy—ty andro fah’ eneñe.
And God sawe all that he had made, and loe, it was very good. So the euening and the morning were the sixt day.
