< Genesisy 9 >

1 Nitatan’Añahare t’i Nòake naho o ana-dahi’eo ami’ty hoe: Mitomboa naho mangetseketseha vaho liforo ty tane toy.
And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
2 Le amy ze kila biby ambone’ ty tane toy naho amy ze voron-tioke naho amy ze mpisitsitse an-tane atoy, vaho amy ze fiañe an-driak’ ao ty fihembañañe naho ty firevendreveñañe ama’ nahareo, fa natolotse am-pità’ areo.
Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
3 Ho fikama’ areo ze hene raha veloñe; manahake ty nanolorako anahareo o ahetse maindoñindoñeo ty anolorako ze satan’ Añahare.
Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
4 Fe tsy ho kamae’ areo ze nofotse reketse ty havelo’e—i lio’ey.
But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
5 Toe ho paiaeko an-taña’ ze fonga biby naho am-pità’ondaty naho am-pitàn-drahalahi’ ondaty ty lio’areo, ty havelo’areo. Ho paiako ty fiai’indatiy.
For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
6 Ze mampiori-dio ondaty, Le hampiorihe’ondaty ka ty lio’e. Fa ami’ty vintan’Añahare ty nitseneañe ondatio.
Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
7 Aa le mahavokara vaho mangetseketseha, miraoraòa an-tane atoy vaho mihamaroa ama’e.
But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
8 Le hoe t’i Andrianañahare amy Nòake naho amo ana-dahi’e nindre ama’eo:
God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
9 Ingo te mañori-pañina ama’areo naho amo tarira’areo hanonjohio iraho,
Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
10 naho amy ze kila raha veloñe mindre ama’areo, o voroñeo, o hareo, naho ze fonga bibi’ ty tane toy, ze niakatse i lakam-poloaiy, ze kila’ bibi’ ty tane toy.
And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
11 Horizako ama’areo ty fañinako te tsy hampaitoeñe an-drano fiempoempoañe ka ze kila nofotse, vaho tsy ho rotsahe’ ty fiempoempoan-drano ka ty tane toy.
And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
12 Hoe t’i Andrianañahare, Zao ty vilo’ ty fañina ifañinàko ama’areo naho amo kila raha veloñe mindre ama’ areoo pak’amy ze hene tariratse añe:
Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
13 Ho reketeko amo rahoñeo ty àvako ho vilo’ ty fañinako ami’ty tane toy.
I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
14 Ie ampandrahoñeko ty ambone’ ty tane toy, le hiboak’ amo rahoñeo i avañey
And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
15 le ho tiahiko i fañinako ama’ areo naho amo raha veloñe ama’ nofotse iabioy; vaho tsy ho empoempoe’ o ranoo ka ze hene nofotse handrotsake aze.
Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 Ie amo rahoñeo i avañey, le ho treako vaho ho tiahiko i fañina tsy ho modo añivon’ Añahare naho ze hene raha veloñe ama’ nofotse an-tane atoiy.
Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
17 Hoe t’i Andrianañahare amy Nòake, izay ty ho vilo’ i fañina norizeko añivo’ Ahy naho ze kila nofotse an-tane atoiy.
God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
18 O ana’ i Nòake niakatse i lakam-poloaio, le i Seme naho i Kame vaho Ièfete. Rae’ i Kanàne t’i Kame.
Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
19 I telo rey ro ana-dahi’ i Nòake; le boak’ am’ iereo ty nanitsihañe ty tane toy.
These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
20 Niorotse niava tane t’i Nòake vaho nambole valoboke.
Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
21 Ie nikama ty divai’e le nimamo vaho tsy aman-tsaroñe t’ie an-kiboho’e ao.
And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
22 Nizoe’ i Kame, rae’ i Kanàne, ty fihalon-drae’e le vinola’e ty rahalahi’e roe alafe ao.
And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
23 Aa le rinambe’ i Seme naho Ièfete ty lamba, le nasampe an-tsoro’ iareo roe le nidisa-voly nanaroñe ty fihalon-drae’e; nitolike ty lahara’iareo tsy nahatrea i fihaloa’ey.
Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
24 Ie nivañoñe amy divai’ey t’i Nòake naho nahafohiñe i nanoa’ i ana-tsitso’ey,
Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
25 le hoe re, Afàtse t’i Kanàne fa ho mpitorom-pitoroñe amo roahalahi’eo. Hoe ka re,
And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
26 Rengèñe t’Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ i Seme, fa ho mpitoro’e t’i Kanàne.
He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
27 Hampientaren’Añahare t’Ièfete, ie himoneñe an-kiboho’ i Seme, vaho ho mpitoro’e t’i Kanàne.
God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
28 Niveloñe telon-jato tsy limampolo taoñe tafara’ i fiempoempoañey t’i Nòake.
And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
29 Nañeneke sivan-jato-tsi-limampolo taoñe ty hene andro’ i Nòake, vaho nihomake. Izay ty fanoñona’ o ana’ i Nòakeo
So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
