< Genesisy 6 >
1 Nangetseketseke ty ia’ ondaty an-tane atoy vaho nisamak’ ampela
And it happened, when humankind began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,
2 le nioni’ o anan’ Añahareo te montramontra o anak’ ampela’ ondatio naho nañenga ze nitea’e.
that God's sons saw that the daughters of humankind were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
3 Aa le hoe t’Iehovà, Tsy hifanjomotse am’ ondatio nainai’e ty Troko, amy t’ie nofotse, le ho zato-tsi-roapolo taoñe ty andro’e.
And God said, "My Spirit will not remain in humankind forever, since he is indeed flesh; yet his days will be one hundred twenty years."
4 Ambone’ tane atoy tañ’andro iizay o Nefalèo naho mbe tafara ka, le vinonje’ o anan’ Añahareo o anak’ ampela’ ondatio vaho nanaranake. Toe nifanalolahy haehae iereo, nilahitsiay.
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days (and also after that), when the sons of God had sexual relations with the daughters of humankind and had children by them. They were the mighty men who were from ancient times, famous men.
5 Nivazoho’ Iehovà ty halosoran-katsereha’ ty tane toy naho te nitolon-karatiañe avao ty fivetsevetsen-tro’ iareo.
And God saw that the wickedness of humankind was great on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 Le naneñena’ Iehovà te namboatse ondaty an-tane atoy vaho nanahelo añ’ arofo’e ao.
God was sorry that he had made humankind on the earth, and he was grieved in his heart.
7 Aa le hoe t’Iehovà, Ho faopaoheko ami’ty tane toy ondaty nitsenèkoo, fonga ondaty naho biby naho o raha misitsitseo vaho o voron-tiokeo fa aneñenako t’ie namboareñe.
God said, "I will destroy humankind whom I have created from the face of the earth; humankind, along with animals, crawling creatures, and flying creatures of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them."
8 Fe nahaoni-pañisohañe am-pihaino’ Iehovà t’i Nòake.
But Noah found favor in the sight of God.
9 izay ty fanoñona’ i Nòake. Vantañe t’i Nòake, tsy nanan-tahiñe amo foko’eo, vaho nindre fañavelo aman’ Añahare t’i Noake.
These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.
10 Nisamake telo t’i Nòake: i Seme, i Kame vaho Ièfete.
Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 Ie amy zay nilo-tserek’ añatrefan’ Añahare naho nilifotse ty hapiaroteñe ty tane toy.
The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 Nivazoho i Andrianañahare ty tane toy le naheo’e te lò-tsereke naho songa nimontamontan-tsata ondatio.
God saw the earth, and look, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
13 Aa le hoe t’i Andrianañahare amy Nòake, Fa miatrek’ ahy ty figadoña’ ze atao nofotse, amy te lifo-kapiaroteñe ty tane toy ty am’ iereo, Inao, t’ie hatraoko rotsake an-tane atoy.
And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them. And look, I will destroy them with the earth.
14 Aa le mandranjia lakam-poloay ami’ty mendoraveñe, le mandranjia efetsefetse amy lakañey vaho hosoro harahake naho solike ty alafe’e vaho ty añate’e.
Make a box-shaped ship of gopher wood. You are to make rooms in the ship, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
15 Zao ty hamboare’o aze. Ho kiho telon-jato ty an-dava’ i lakam-poloaiy naho kiho limampolo ty am-pohe’e vaho kiho telo-polo ty haabo’e.
And this is how you are to make it. The length of the ship is to be five hundred seventeen feet, its breadth eighty-six feet, and its height fifty-two feet.
16 Andranjio tafo i lakam-poloaiy vaho ampijebaño kiho raike ty ambone’e; le ano lalambey añ’ila’ i lakam-poloaiy; le andranjio vatsa ambane naho añivo vaho ambone.
And you are to make a roof in the ship, and you are to finish it twenty-one inches above. And you are to set the door of the ship in its side. You are to make it with lower, second, and third levels.
17 Toe Izaho le izaho ty hinday fisorotombahan-drano an-tane atoy handrotsake ze nofotse mikofò-beloñe ambane’ i likerañey; kila ho mongotse ze an-tane atoy.
And as for me, look, I am bringing a flood of waters on the earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is on the earth will die.
18 Fe ihe ty hañorizako fañina, le himoaha’o i lakam-poloaiy rekets’ o ana-dahi’oo naho i vali’oy vaho o valin’ ana-dahi’oo.
But I will establish my covenant with you. You are to come into the ship, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.
19 Hendese’o mb’an-dakam-poloay ao ty kiroe kiroe amy ze hene raha veloñe, amy ze kila nofotse; le ho velome’o mindre ama’areo, ty lahi’e naho ty vave’e.
Of every living thing of all flesh, you are to bring two of every sort into the ship, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.
20 Amo voroñeo ty amo karaza’eo, naho o hareo ty amo karaza’eo, naho ze fonga biby misitsitsy an-tane atoy ty amo karaza’eo, songa roe ama’e ty hiheo mb’ama’o mb’eo hameloma’o.
Of the flying creatures after their kind, of the animals after their kind, and of every crawling creature of the ground after their kind, two of every sort shall come to you, to keep them alive.
21 Fonga añandeso ze karaza-mahakama le atontono ho azo, ho kamae’ areo vaho ho hàne’ iareo.
And as for you, take for yourself all the kinds of food that are eaten, and gather it to yourself; and it will be food for you, and for them."
22 Nanoe’ i Nòake. I nandilian’ Añaharey ty nanoe’e.
Thus Noah did. According to all that God commanded him, so he did.
