Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.

Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
3 naho i Bosemàte ana’ Iesmaèle, rahavave’ i Nebaiòte.
And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
4 Nisamake i Elifàze amy Esave t’i Adàe; nisamake i Reoèle t’i Bosemate;
And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
5 le nisamake i Elifaze, Ieìse, Ialàme, naho i Kòrahke t’i Oholibamà. Ie ro ana’ i Esave nasama’e an-tane Kanàne ao.
Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Nendese’ i Esave o vali’eo, o ana-dahi’eo, o anak’ ampela’eo, naho ze hene añ’anjomba’e, naho o añombe’eo, o hare fiandraze’e iabio naho ze fonga vara natonto’e an-tane Kanàne ao vaho nisese mb’an-tane hisitaha’e an-daharan-drahalahi’e Iakòbe añe,
So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.

For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
8 Aa le nitoetse am-bohi’ Seire ao t’i Esave; Edome ‘nio t’i Esave.
Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
9 Iretoañe ro tarira’ i Esave, rae’ o nte-Edomeo, am-bohi’ Seire ao.
So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
10 Ty tahina’ o ana’ i Esaveo le: i Elifaze ana’ i Adàe, vali’ i Esave; i Reoèle, ana’ i Bosmate vali’ i Esave.
These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
11 O ana’ i Elifazeo: i Temane, i Omare, i Tsefò, naho i Gatame, vaho i Kenaze.
And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 (Sakeza’ i Elifaze, ana’ i Esave t’i Timnàe nisamake i Amalek’ amy Elifaze.) Iereo ro ana’ i Adae, vali’ i Esave.
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
13 Iretoy ro ana’ i Reoele: i Nàkate, naho i Zèrake, i Samà, vaho i Mizà. Iereo ro ana’ i Bosemate, vali’ i Esave.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
14 Iretoy ro ana’ i Oholibamàe, ana’ i Anà, ana’ i Tsibone, vali’ i Esave: nisamahe’e amy Esave t’Ieose naho Ialame vaho i Korake.
And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
15 Iretoy ro fifokoa’ o ana’ i Esaveo. O ana’ i Elifaze, tañoloñoloña’ i Esaveo: i Temane talè, i Omare talè, i Zefò talè, i Kenaze talè,
These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
16 i Korake talè, i Gatame talè, i Amaleke talè; ie o talè boak’amy Elifaze ana’ i Adae an-tane Edomeo.
Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
17 Iretoy ro ana’ i Reoèle ana’ Esave: i Nakàte talè, i Zeràke talè, i Samà talè, vaho i Mizà talè; ie ro talè boak’ i Reoèle an-tane Edome ao, ana’ i Basemate vali’ i Esave.
And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
18 Intoy o ana’ i Oholibamàe, vali’ i Esaveo: t’Ieòse talè, Ialame talè, vaho i Kòrake talè; ie ro talè nasama’ i Oholibamàe, vali’ i Esave naho ana’ i Anà.
Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
19 Ie ro ana’ i Esave (i Edome), naho o talè’eo.
These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
20 Intoy o ana’ i Seire nte-Khorý mpimoneñe amy taneio: i Lotane naho i Sòbale naho i Tsibòne naho i Anà,
These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
21 naho i Disone, naho i E’tsere, vaho i Disane; ie ro talè’ o nte-Khorio, ana’ i Seire an-tane’ Edome ao.
And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
22 Le o ana’ i Lotàneo: i Khorý, naho i Hemame vaho i Timnae rahavave’ i Lotane.
And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
23 O ana’ i Sòbaleo: i Alvane naho i Manakate, naho i Ebale, i Sefò vaho i Oname.
And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24 O ana’ i Tsiboneo: i Aià naho i Anà ie roe; i Anà ty nahatendreke o rano mae am-patrañeo ie niarake o borìke’ i Tsibone rae’eo.
And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
25 O ana’ i Anào: i Disone naho i Oholibamàe anak’ ampela’ i Anà.
And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
26 O ana’ i Disoneo: i Kemdane, naho i Esbane, naho Iit’rane, vaho i Kerane.
Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27 O ana’ i E’tsereo: i Bilhane, naho i Zaavane, vaho i Akane.
The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
28 O ana’ i Disaneo: i Otse naho i Arane.
The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
29 O talè’ o nte-Khorio: i Lotane talè, i Sobale talè, i Tsibone talè, i Anà talè,
These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
30 i Disone talè, i Etsere talè, i Disane talè; ie ro talè’ o nte-Kkorio; o mpiaolon-tane Seireo.
Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
31 Intoy o mpanjaka nifehe an-tane’ Edome ao aolo’ te amam-panjaka nifehe o ana’ Israeleoo.
And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.
32 Nifehe ty rova atao Dinhabà e Edome ao t’i Belà ana’ i Beore.
Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
33 Nivilasy t’i Belà le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’Iobabe ana’ i Zeràke nte-Botsrà.
And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
34 Nivilasy t’Iobabe le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Khosàme tan-tane’ o Temanio.
When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
35 Nivilasy t’i Khosàme, le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Hadade ana’ i Bedade, i nahagioke i Midiane a monto’ i Moabey; atao Avite i rova’ey.
And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
36 Nivilasy t’i Hadade, le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Samlà nte-Masrekà.
When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
37 Nivilasy t’i Samlà, le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Saòle nte-Rekhobòte boak’ amy sakay añe.
When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
38 Nivilasy t’i Saole, le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Baal-kanàne ana’ i Akbore.
When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
39 Nivilasy t’i Baal-kanàne ana’ i Akbore, le nandimbe aze ho mpanjaka t’i Hadare; natao Paò i rova’ey; Mehetabèle anak’ ampela i Matrède, anak’ ampela’ i Mezahabe ty vali’e.
And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
40 Zao o tahina’ o talè’ i Esave amo hasavereña’eo naho o rova’eoo; ty tahina’ iareo: i Timnà talè, i Alvà talè, Ietète talè,
Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
41 i Aholibamae talè, i Elà talè, i Pinone talè,
Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
42 i Kenaze talè, i Temane talè, i Mibtsare talè,
Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
43 i Magdiele talè, Irame talè; ie ro mpiaolo’ i Edome ty amo akiba’ iareo an-tane fanaña’ iareoo. (rae’ o nte-Edomeo t’i Esave)
Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
