< Genesisy 10 >
1 Naho fa añe i fiempoempoañey le nahatoly anake t’i Seme naho i Kame vaho Ièfete;
Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and there were born to them sons after the flood.
2 O tarira’ Ièfeteo le i Gomere, i Magoge, i Madae, Iavane, i Tobale, i Meseke, vaho i Tirase.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan and Tubal, —and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 O tarira’ i Gomereo le i Askenaze, i Rifate, vaho i Togarmà.
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 O tarira’ Iavaneo le i Elisà, i Tarsise, i Kitime vaho i Dodanime.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish. Kittim, and Rodanim, —
5 Boak’am’iereo ty nampifañavakavaheñe o kilakila’ndatio hifanjarà’ iareo o taneo; songa amam-pisaontsi’e naho hasavereña’e vaho fifehea’e.
From these, were dispersed [the inhabitants] of the coastlands of the nations, in their lands, each man by his tongue, by their families in their nations.
6 O tarira’ i Kameo: i Kose, i Mitsraime, i Pota vaho i Kanàne.
And, the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.
7 O tarira’ i Koseo: i Sebà, i Havilà, i Sabtà, i Ramà, vaho i Sabtekà. O tarira’ i Ramào: i Sebà naho i Dedane.
And, the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabtah and Raamah, and Sabtechah, —And the sons of Raamah, Sheba and Dedan.
8 Nisamake i Nimrode t’i Kose; ie nihalahitsiay an-tane atoy,
And, Cush begat Nimrod.—he, became a hero in the earth;
9 nimpitsatsa ra’elahy añatrefa’ Iehovà ami’ty saontsy ty hoe: Manahake i Nimrode, mpangoroñe lahitsiay añatrefa’ Iehovày.
he, became a hero of hunting before Yahweh, for this cause, it is said. Like Nimrod, a hero of hunting before Yahweh.
10 Nifototse e Bavele ty fifehea’e, le nitakats’ i Sinare naho i Ereke naho i Akade vaho i Kalnè.
So the beginning of his kingdom came to be Babel, and Erech, and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 Niavotse amy taney t’i Asore naho nañoreñe i Ninevè naho i rova atao Rehobotey, i Kèlake vaho
From that land, went forth Asshur, —and he built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah:
12 i Resene añivo’ i Ninevè naho i Kèlake—rova jabajaba.
and Resen, between Niveveh and Calah, —the same is the great city.
13 I Mitsraime nisamake i Lody naho i Anamy, naho i Lehaby, i Naftohy, i
And, Mizraim, begat Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim, and Naphtuchim;
14 Patrosy, i Kaslohy (i niboaha’ o nte-Pilistioy), vaho i Kaftore.
and Pathrusim and Casluhim whence came forth Philistim and Caphtorim.
15 Nisamake i Tsidone tañoloñoloña’e t’i Kanàne, naho i Khete
And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth:
16 naho i nte-Jebosey, i nte-Emorey, i nte-Girgasey,
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
17 i nte-Khivey, i nte-Arkey, i nte-Siney,
and the Hivite and the Arkite, and the Sinite:
18 i nte-Arvadey, i nte-Tsemarey vaho i nte-Khamatey. Ie añe le niparaitake alafe’e añe o nte-Kanàneo.
and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite, —and after-wards, were spread abroad the families of the Canaanite.
19 Nifototse e Tsidone ty efeefe’ o nte-Kanàneo mioza amy Gerare mb’e Azà, naho mb’e Sedome naho Amorà naho Adamà naho Tseboime am-para’ i Lesà añe.
And it came to pass that the boundary of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou enterest in towards Gerar unto Gaza, —as thou enterest in towards Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, as far as Lasha.
20 Ie ro tarira’ i Kame amo hasavereña’eo naho o fisaontsi’eo amo tane’eo vaho amo fifehea’eo.
These, are the sons of Ham, by their families by their tongues, in their lands in their nations.
21 Amy Seme, rae’o nte-Evre iabio naho rahalahi’ Ièfete zoke’e, ro nisamahañe:
Now, to Shem, father of all the sons of Eber, elder brother of Japheth, to him also, were children born.
22 Inao o tarira’ i Semeo: i Elame, i Asore, i Arpaksade, i Lode vaho i Arame.
The sons of Shem, Elam and Asshur, —and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.
23 O tarira’ i Arameo, i Oze, i Kole, i Getere, vaho i Mase.
And, the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
24 Nisamake i Selake t’i Arpaksade le nisamake i Evre t’i Selake.
Now Arpachshad, begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
25 Nisamak’ ana-dahy roe t’i Evre, i Pèlege ty tahina’ ty raike, ty amy fizarazaran-tane tañ’andro’e; Ioktane ty tahinan-drahalahi’e.
And to Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days, was the earth divided, and the name of his brother was Joktan.
26 Ioktane nisamake i Almodade naho i Sèlefe, i Khazaremavete, Ierake,
Now, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
27 i Hadorame, i Ozale, i Diklà,
and Hadoram and Uzal, and Diklah:
28 i Obale, i Abimaele, i Sebà,
and Obal and Abimael, and Sheba:
29 i Ofire, i Khavilà, vaho Iobabe; songa tarira’ Ioktane.
and Ophir and Havilah, and Jobab—all these were sons of Joktan.
30 Mifototse e Mesà eo ty tane nimoneña’ iareo le miranga mb’e Sefare mb’eo, i vohitse atiñanañey.
And it came to pass that their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou enterest in towards Sephar, the mountain of the east.
31 Ie ro tarira’ i Seme amo hasavereña’eo naho o fisaontsi’eo, o tane’eo vaho o fifehea’eo.
These are the sons of Shem, by their families by their tongues, in their lands by their nations.
32 Ie iaby ro tarira’ o ana-dahi’ i Nòakeo, amo fanoñona’eo, naho amo fifehea’eo; ie ro niparaitaha’ ze kila’ondaty an-tane atoy, naho fa añe i fiempoempoañeio.
These, are the families of the sons of Noah, by their generations in their nations, and from these, were dispersed the nations in the earth after the flood.
