< Galatiana 1 >

1 I Paoly, Firàheñe, (tsy nirahe’ ondatio, ndra t’indaty, fa Iesoà Norizañey naho i Andrianañahare Rae nampitroatse aze an-kavilasy)
Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him out of the dead—
2 naho o longo amako atoa iabio, Ho amo Fivory e Galate añeo:
and all the brothers with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:
3 Hasoa naho Fañanintsiñe boak’ aman’ Añahare Rae naho i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey,
Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 ie nanolo-piaiñe ty amo hakeon-tikañeo, handrombake antika ami’ty sa raty henaneo, ty amy satrin’ Añahare Raen-tikañe; (aiōn g165)
who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn g165)
5 ama’e abey ty engeñe nainai’e donia. Amena (aiōn g165)
to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 Mahalatsa ahy te nifarie’ areo aniany i nikanjy anahareo mb’amy hasoa’ i Norizañeiy, hitolik’ amy ze o talili-soa ila’e zao,
I wonder that you are so quickly removed from Him who called you in the grace of Christ to another good news—
7 tsy t’ie aman’ ila’e, fe ao ty mitsibore anahareo hañamengoke ty talili-soa’ i Norizañey
not that there is another, except there are certain who are troubling you, and wishing to pervert the good news of the Christ;
8 Aa ndra te zahay, ndra te anjely hirik’ andindìñe añe ty mitaroñe ama’ areo ty talily ila’ te amy nitaroñe’aiy, le sira naho molale.
but even if we or a messenger out of Heaven may proclaim good news to you different from what we proclaimed to you—let him be accursed!
9 Hambañe amy fivola’ay teoy, le indraeko henaneo, ndra ia t’indaty minday talili-soa ama’ areo mandietse i rinambe’ areoy, le fatra an-tane.
As we have said before, and now say again: if anyone may proclaim to you good news different from what you received—let him be accursed!
10 Mipay fañisohañe am’ondatio hao iraho henaneo he aman’ Añahare? Ke mipay hahafale ondaty? F’ie te ho nanitra ondaty, le tsy ho ni-fetrek’oro’ i Norizañey.
For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men—I should not be Christ’s servant.
11 Hampahafohineko anahareo ry longo, te tsy nifototse am’ondaty i talili-soa itaroñakoy.
And I make known to you, brothers, the good news that was proclaimed by me, that it is not according to man,
12 Tsy rinambeko ama’ ondaty, naho tsy nanarañ’ ahiko, fa amy namentabentara’ Iesoà Norizañey ahiy.
for neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught [it], but through a revelation of Jesus Christ,
13 Toe jinanji’areo i fanoeko taolo amo Tehodaoy, te loho nampisoañeko i Fivorin’ Añaharey, naho nimaneako rotsake,
for you heard of my behavior once in Judaism, that I was exceedingly persecuting the Assembly of God, and destroying it,
14 vaho nionjoñe amy fitalahoa’ o Jiosioy mandikoatse o longoko maro mpirai-nono amakoo, ie nilozoheko o lilin-droaekoo.
and I was advancing in Judaism above many equals in age in my own race, being more abundantly zealous of my fathers’ deliverances,
15 Aa kanao ninòn’ Añahare nañambak’ ahy boak’ an-tron-dreneko ao, le nikanjie’e ty amy hasoa’ey,
and when God was well pleased—having separated me from the womb of my mother, and having called [me] through His grace—
16 hampalangese’e amako i ana’ey, hitaroñako aze amo kilakila’ ondatio; ie henane zay tsy niharoako safiry ty nofotse aman-dio
to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim Him as good news among the nations, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
17 naho tsy nionjomb’e Ierosaleme mb’ amo Firàheñe taolokoo mb’eo f’ie nifokofoko mb’ Arabia añe; vaho nimpoly mb’e Damaskose ao.
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away to Arabia, and again returned to Damascus;
18 Ie niritse ty telo taoñe le nionjomb’e Ierosaleme mb’eo hifandrèndreke amy Kefasy, vaho nitoboke ama’e ao folo andro lim’ amby.
then, after three years I went up to Jerusalem to inquire about Peter, and remained with him fifteen days,
19 Le tsy nahatrea Firàheñe ila’e iraho naho tsy Iakobe, zai’ i Talè avao.
and I did not see [any] other of the apostles, except James, the brother of the LORD.
20 (Aa ty amo sokireko ama’ areoo, le ifantàko añatrefan’ Añahare te tsy mandañitse.)
And the things that I write to you, behold, before God—I do not lie;
21 Ie añe, le nimb’am-paripari’ i Sirià naho i Kilkia mb’eo;
then I came into the regions of Syria and of Cilicia,
22 ie mb’e namoea’ o Fivory amy Norizañey e Iehodào ty tareheko.
and was unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea, that [are] in Christ,
23 Toe jinanji’ iereo avao te, i nampisoañe antika taoloy ro mone mitsey i fatokisañe nimanea’e rotsake heikey.
and they were only hearing that “he who is persecuting us then, now proclaims good news—the faith that he was then destroying”;
24 Le nandrenge an’ Andrianañahare ty amako.
and they were glorifying God in me.
