< Galatiana 5 >
1 Fidadàñe ty nañahà’ i Norizañey antika, aa le mijadoña, soa tsy ho fandrihe’ i jokam-pañondevozañey ka.
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Intoy, izaho Paoly o mivolañe ama’ areoo, t’ie miafa-boy, le tsy hahasoa anahareo i Norizañey.
Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.
3 Ataliliko indraike ze hene lahilahy mamotso-boiñe, t’ie mpisongo, ro voalily hañambeñe ze he’e amy Hake ao.
Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Fa nifampiria amy Norizañey nahareo, mipay havantañañe amo fañèo, vaho fa nitraboke amy hasoay.
You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
5 F’ie amy Arofoy ro mandiñe am-patokisañe te ho heneke i havantañañe tamàñey.
For we through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
6 Ie am’ Iesoà Norizañey ao, le songa tsy vente’e ty fisavarañe naho ty tsi-fisavarañe, fa ty fatokisañe mifanehake am-pikokoañe.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.
7 Nisoa ty filaisa’ areo, fa ia ty nanebañe anahareo tsy hañambeñe ty hatò?
You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
8 Tsy boak’ amy mpikanjy anahareoy o manigìke anahareo zao.
This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
9 Mahaatseke ty boko’e iaby ty lalivay kede.
A little yeast grows through the whole lump.
10 Iantofako amy Talè, t’ie tsy hivetsevetse raha ila’e; fa i mampitsiborehetoke anahareoy ty hivave i fizakàñe azey, ndra te ia.
I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 Izaho ka ry longo, naho mbe mitaroñe fisavarañe, inoñe ty ampisoañañe ahy? amy t’ie ho nampikòake ty sirìka’ i hatae ajaley.
But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.
12 Ee te ho vosireñe ka o mañembetse anahareoo.
I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.
13 Toe kinanjy ho haha nahareo ry longo, aa le ko afotetse ho filomolorañe amo nofotseo ty fidadà’ areo, fe mifañasoà an-koko.
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
14 Toe mahaeneñe i Hake ty tsara raike manao ty hoe: Kokò ondatio manahake ty vata’o.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 Fa naho mifandrimitse naho mifamotseke, mitaoa, hera hifampigodrañe!
But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.
16 Aa hoe iraho: Mihaveloa amy Arofoy, le tsy ho haoñe’ areo ty hadrao’ i nofotsey.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 Mpandietse i Arofoy i nofotsey, naho i nofotsey i trokey; mifandietse iereo soa tsy hanoe’ areo ze satri’areo,
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
18 f’ie iaolòa’ i Arofoy, le tsy ambane’ i Hake.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Malange ty sata’ o nofotseo: ty hakarapiloañe, fandratoañe, hameñarañe,
Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20 fiatoañe am-pahasive, famorehañe, fifalaiñañe, filie-drokoñe, fitsikirihañe, filoa-tiñake, fifandierañe, fifampiambahañe, fifampiriàñe,
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21 fihàñañe, hamamoañe, fihisàn-draty vaho o manahake irezaio; inao indraike i hatahata hinatahatako anahareoy, te tsy handova i Fifehean’ Añaharey o manao irezaio.
envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.
22 Le ty voka’ i Arofoy: fikokoañe, firebehañe, fañanintsiñe, fahaliñisañe, havantañañe, fatarihañe, figahiñañe,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
23 trentram-po, filieram-batañe. Tsy amy Hake ty mandrara irezay.
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Fa naradorado’ o mpiamy Iesoà Norizañeio i haondaty hambo’ey rekets’ o fañiria’e naho hadrao’eo.
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25 Kanao veloñe amy Arofoy tikañe, antao hañavelo amy Arofoy ka.
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
26 Asoao tsy hirengevoke, hifanikisìky naho hifampitsikirìke.
Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
