< Ezekiela 6 >

1 Le niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2 O ana’ ondatio, ampitoliho amo vohi’ Israeleo ty tarehe’o naho itokio,
“Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel and prophesy to them.
3 ami’ty hoe: Ry vohi’ Israeleo, tsanoño ty tsara’ Iehovà Talè: Hoe t’Iehovà Talè amo vohitseo naho o haboañeo, o torahañeo naho o vava-taneo; Inao! Izaho, toe Izaho, ty hinday fibara ama’ areo vaho harotsako o toets’abo areoo.
Say, 'Mountains of Israel, listen to the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says this to the mountains and to the hills, to the streambeds, and to the valleys: Behold! I am bringing a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 Hangoakoake o kitreli’ areoo, naho ho foy o fañemboha’ areoo, vaho havokovokoko ambane eo o zinamañeo añatrefa’ o samposampo’ areoo.
Then your altars will become desolate and your pillars will be destroyed, and I will throw down your dead in front of their idols.
5 Le ho rohoteko aolo’ o samposampo’eo ty lolo’ o ana’ Israeleo; vaho hampivarakaiheko añ’ariari’ o kitreli’ areoo o taola’ areoo.
I will lay the dead bodies of the people of Israel before their idols, and scatter your bones around your altars.
6 Ho fonga koromaheñe o rova an-toe-pimoneña’ areoo, naho songa ho koaheñe o haboañeo; soa te ho voravoraeñe naho farieñe o kitreli’ areoo, naho ho hene pozaheñe o samposampo’ areoo le hijihetse, naho sindre ho firaeñe ze fañemboha’ areo vaho ho faopaoheñe iaby o fitoloña’ areoo.
Everywhere you live, cities will be laid waste and the high places ruined, so that your altars will be laid waste and made desolate. Then they will be broken and disappear, your pillars will be cut down and your works will be wiped away.
7 Hikorovok’ am-po’o ao o binaibaio, haharendreha’ areo te Izaho Iehovà.
The dead will fall down in your midst and you will know that I am Yahweh.
8 Fe apoko ty sehanga’e, soa te hadoke ho anahareo ze nahapoliotse amy fibaray amo fifeheañeo, ie avarakaheñe amo taneo.
But I will preserve a remnant among you, and there will be some who escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered throughout the countries.
9 Le hahatiahy ahy o nahafipoliotse mb’amo kilakila’ ndatioo, amy naneseañe iereo mb’ am-pandrohizañe añey, amy te nahafikoretse ahy ty hakarapiloan’ arofo’ iareo, ie nieng’ ahy, naho ty fihaino’ iareo mañarapilo mb’amo samposampoo; le nampalaim-bintañe ahy am’ iereo ze haratiañe nanoeñe amo halòtsere’ iareo iabio.
Then those who escape will think of me among the nations where they will be held captive, that I was grieved by their promiscuous heart that turned away from me, and by their eyes that whored after their idols. Then they will show loathing on their face for the wickedness which they have committed with all their abominations.
10 Le ho fohi’ iareo te Izaho Iehovà; te tsy ami’ty tsy vente’e ty nivolañako te hanoeko o hankàñe zao.
So they will know that I am Yahweh. It was for a reason that I said I would bring this evil to them.
11 Aa hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè: Mamofoha fitàñe, mandialia am-pandia’o, le ano ty hoe: Hoy abey! o halò-tsere’ i anjomba’ Israeleo, ie hampikorovohe’ ty fibara naho ty hasalikoañe vaho ty angorosy.
The Lord Yahweh says this: Clap your hands and stomp your foot! Say, 'Alas!' because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they will fall by sword, famine, and plague.
12 Hampivetrahe’ ty angorosy o lavitseo naho ho koromahem-pibara o marineo; le hampihomahe’ ty mosare o honka’e arikoboñeñeo; izay ty hampanintsiñe ty fiforoforoako.
The one far away will die by plague, and the one who is near will fall by the sword. Those who remain and survive will die by famine. In this way I will accomplish my fury against them.
13 Le ho fohi’ areo te Izaho Iehovà, ie mifitafita am-poto’ o samposampo’eo ondati’ iareo zinamañeo, ambone’ ze hene tamboho eo, an-dengo’ ze vohitse iaby, naho ambane’ ze hatae mandrevake vaho ambane’ ze kile mangonkòñe—o toetse nibanabanae’ iareo emboke marifondrifoñe amo samposampo’eoo.
Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when their dead lie among their idols, around their altars, on every high hill—on all the mountain peaks, and under every flourishing tree and thick oak—the places where they burned incense to all their idols.
14 Le hatorakitsiko am’iereo ty sirako, hanoeko hoake i taney, mandikoatse i fatram-bey mb’e Diblày añey, amy ze hene fitobea’ iareo; vaho ho fohi’ iareo te Izaho Iehovà.
I will strike with my hand and make the land desolate and a waste, from the wilderness to Diblah, throughout all the places where they live. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”
