< Ezekiela 33 >
1 Niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà manao ty hoe:
Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 O ana’ ondatio, misaontsia amo ana’ ondati’oo vaho ano ty hoe: Naho endesako fibara i taney, naho mangalake ondaty boak’ amo efe’eo, ondati’ i taney, naho hajadoko ho mpijilo’ iareo;
Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say to them, When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man out of their whole number, and set him for their watchman,
3 le ie oni’e te miheo mb’amy taney mb’eo i fibaray, ho tiofe’e i antsivay hitalily am’ondatio,
and he seeth the sword coming on the land, and bloweth the trumpet, and warneth the people,
4 le ndra ia ia mahajanjiñe ty fipopò’ i antsivay fe tsy mañaoñe i hatahata’ey; vaho maniotse aze añe ty fitorotosi’ i fibaray, le ho ama’e ty lio’e.
then whoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning, and the sword cometh and taketh him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5 Jinanji’e ty feo i antsivay fe tsy hinao’e i hatahatay; ho ama’e i lio’ey, ie ho nandrombak’ay te hinao’e i hatahatay.
He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning. His blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall save his life.
6 Aa naho oni’ i mpijiloy te miheo mb’eo i fibaray fe tsy tiofe’e i antsivay le tsy hatahataeñe ondatio, aa naho asiom-pibara t’indaty boak’am’ iereo ao, le hendeseñe ty amo tahi’eo indatiy; fe ho paiako am-pità’ i mpijiloy ty lio’e.
But if the watchman see the sword coming, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, and the sword come and take away any person from among them, he is taken away for his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7 Ihe, ry ana’ ondatio, ty najadoko ho mpijilo i anjomba’ Israeley; aa le ho janjiñe’o ty taroñem-bavako vaho ho hatahatae’o ty amako iereo.
So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman to the house of Israel, that thou shouldst hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me.
8 Aa naho volañeko i lo-tserekey ty hoe, O ty lo-tsereke tia, toe havetrake irehe; aa naho tsy hatahatae’o i lo-tserekey ty amo sata-rati’eo, le hivetrake amo hakeo’eo re, fe ho paiako am-pità’o ty lio’e.
When I say to the wicked, “O wicked man, thou shalt surely die!” and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die for his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thy hand.
9 Aa naho talilie’o i lo-tserekey o sata-rati’ eo, hibalintoa’e, fe tsy ambohoa’e i sata’ey, le hikenkañe amo tahi’eo, fe ho rinomba’o ka ty fiai’o.
Yet if thou warn the wicked of his way, to turn from it, and he turneth not from his way, he shall die for his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thyself.
10 Aa ihe ry ana’ondatio, misaontsia amy Anjomba’ Israeley: Le ano ty hoe: Hoe nahareo: Amantika o fiolàñe naho tahin-tikañeo, le fa mampinike an-tika. Aa vaho akore arè ty hiveloman-tika?
Thou, therefore, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: Rightly do ye say, “Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and through them we pine away. How then can we live?”
11 Ano ty hoe am’iereo: Kanao velon-dRaho, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, Tsy mipay ty fikoromaha’ o lo-tserekeo iraho, fa t’ie hibalintoa amo sata’eo ho veloñe; mitoliha arè, mibalintoaña amo sata-rati’ areoo, fa ino ty hihomaha’ areo ry anjomba’ Israeleo?
Say to them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn ye, turn ye, from your evil ways! for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
12 Tovoño ty hoe, Ry ana’ ondatio, ano ty hoe o ana’ ondati’oo; Tsy haharombake ty vaño ty havañona’e amy andro iolà’ey; naho tsy hahatsikapy ty lo-tsereke i halò-tsere’ey amy andro ifotera’ey; vaho tsy hahaveloñe i vañoñey ty havañona’e amy andro andilara’ey.
Thou also, son of man, say to the sons of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and through his wickedness shall not the wicked man fall in the day when he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live in the day when he sinneth.
13 Ie anoeko ty hoe i vañoñey, Toe ho velon-drehe; fa iatoa’e i havañona’ey vaho mandilatse, le tsy ho tiahy i hamarentane’ey; fa i hakeo nanoe’ey, ty hihomaha’e.
When I say concerning the righteous, “He shall surely live,” and he trusteth in his righteousness, and doeth iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered, but for his iniquity which he hath committed shall he die.
14 Aa naho hataoko ty hoe i lo-tserekey: Tsy mete tsy hikoromake irehe; le ie mibalintoa amo tahi’eo, naho manao ty fahiti’e naho ty havantañañe,
Again, when I say concerning the wicked, “He shall surely die,” and he turneth from his sin, and doeth that which is just and right,
15 naho avaha’ i lo-tserekey i natsoa’ey, naho ampolie’e i nikamere’ey naho añaveloa’e o fañèn-kaveloñeo vaho tsy mandilatse ka, le toe ho velon-dre, fa tsy hikoromake.
and the wicked restoreth the pledge, giveth back that which he hath taken by violence, and walketh in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 Leo raik’ amo hakeo nanoe’eo tsy hivoliliañe. Fa nanoe’e i havañonañey naho i havantañañey, le ho velon-dre.
None of his sins which he hath committed shall be mentioned to him; he hath done that which is just and right; he shall surely live.
17 Fa hoe o ana-dahi’ ondati’oo, Tsy mahity ty sata’ i Talè; toe i sata’ iareoy ty tsy mahity.
And yet the sons of thy people say, “The way of the Lord is not right!” But it is their way which is not right.
18 Naho miamboho amy havañona’ey ty vañoñe naho manao hakeo, le hivetrake.
When the righteous man turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he dieth because of it.
19 Naho mibalintoa amo sata-rati’eo ty lo-tsereke, vaho manao ty havantañañe naho ty havañonañe; le ho velon-dre.
And when the wicked turneth from his wickedness, and doeth that which is just and right, he shall live thereby.
20 Fa anoe’ areo ty hoe, Tsy vantañe ty lala’ i Talè. Ry anjomba’ Israele, Ho zakaeko nahareo, songa ty amo sata’eo.
And yet ye say, “The way of the Lord is not right!” O house of Israel, I will judge you every one according to his ways!
21 Aa amy andro faha-lime’ i volam-paha folo’ i taom-paha-folo-ro’ ambi’ i fandrohiza’aiy, le niheo amako ty nahapolititse am’ Ierosalaime, le nanoa’e ty hoe, Fa rotsake i rovay.
And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me, saying, “The city is smitten!”
22 Toe tamako ty fità’ Iehovà amy haleñe aolo’ ty nivotraha’ i nipolititsey, nanokake ty vavako aolo’ t’ie nipok’ amako amy maraiñey; aa le nisokake ty vavako le tsy nimoañe ka.
Now the hand of Jehovah had been upon me in the evening before he that had escaped came; and he opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; he opened my mouth, so that I was no longer dumb.
23 Niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
24 O ana’ ondatio, hoe ty saontsi’ ondaty mimoneñe an-dratraratra’ Israele ao, Raike t’i Avrahame, le nifanaña’e i taney, fe maro tikañe, vaho natolotse an-tika ho fanañañe i taney.
Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes in the land of Israel say, “Abraham was but one, and he inherited the land; but we are many; to us is the land given for an inheritance.”
25 Aa le isaontsio ty hoe, Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè; Fikamà’ areo ty raha aman-dio naho fiandrà’ areo o samposampo’ areoo, vaho mampiori-dio; aa ho fanaña’ areo hao i taney?
Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Ye eat with the blood, and life up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood; and shall ye possess the land?
26 Ie miato amy fibara’ areoy, mikitro-draha raty, vaho songa mandeotse ty tañanjomban-drañe’e; aa vaho ho hanaña’ areo hao i taney?
Ye trust to your swords, ye commit abomination, and ye defile, every one, his neighbor's wife; and shall ye possess the land?
27 Isaontsio ty hoe: Inao ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè: Kanao velon-dRaho, toe ho tsingoroem-pibara o an-dratraratrao, le ho fahanako o bibio hampibotseke ty an-kivok’ ao, naho hampivetrahe’ ty angorosy o an-kijoly vaho an-dakatoo.
Say thou thus to them: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open country will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that are in the forts and caves shall fall by the pestilence.
28 Fa hanoeko ratraratra naho bangìñe i taney, le hijihetse ty firengevoha’ i haozara’ey; le ho koake ty vohi’ Israele, tsy ho amam-piranga.
And I will make the land an utter desolation; and the pride of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, so that none shall pass through.
29 Le ho fohi’ iereo te Izaho Iehovà, naha-bangiñe naho ratraratra i taney ty amo haloloañe nanoe’ iereoo.
Then shall they know that I am Jehovah, when I have made the land an utter desolation, on account of all the abominations which they practise.
30 Aa ihe, ry ana’ ondatio, Mbe mifosa azo marine’ o kijolio naho an-dala’ o anjombao o ana-dahi’ ondati’oo, sambe mivesoveso an-drahalahi’e ty hoe: Antao ito hijanjiñe ty tsara aboak’ Iehovà.
As for thee, O son of man, the sons of thy people speak concerning thee by the walls, and in the doors of houses; and speak one to another, every man to his neighbor, saying, “Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that goeth forth from Jehovah.”
31 Aa le hiropak’ ama’o hoe firimboña’ ondaty hiatrek’ azo ondatikoo naho ho janjiñe’ iereo o saontsi’oo, fe tsy hanoe’ iereo; amy te mitsiriry avao o falie’eo, naho mañorike ty fitsikiriha’ iareo o tro’eo.
And they come to thee, as the people assembleth, and they sit before thee, as my people, and they hear thy words: but will not do them; for with their mouth they do what is lovely, but their heart goeth after gain.
32 Ingo manahake te mpibekom-pikokoañe am’ iereo irehe, talango-am-peo, mahafititike marovany; toe tsendreñe’ iareo o saontsi’oo, fe tsy hanoe’ iereo.
And behold, thou art to them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear thy words, but do them not.
33 Aa ie mifetsake izay; (heheke te ho tondroke), le ho fohi’ iereo te tañivo’ iareo ao ty mpitoky.
But when this cometh to pass, (and behold, it shall come to pass, ) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
