< Ezekiela 2 >
1 nanao amako ty hoe, O ana’ ondatio, miongaha am-pandia, le hivolañako.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And I saw and fell upon my face, and heard the voice of one speaking: and he said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak to you.
2 Aa ie nisaontsia’e le nimoak’ amako ty Tioke nampitroatse ahy an-tomboke naho tsinanoko i nitsara amakoy.
And the Spirit came upon me, and took me up, and raised me, and set me on my feet: and I heard him speaking to me.
3 Le hoe re tamako, O ana’ondatio, hiraheko mb’ amo ana’ Israeleo irehe, mb’amo fifokoa mpiola niola amakoo; songa niola amako iereo naho o roae’eo, pake henanekeo.
And he said to me, Son of Man, I send you forth to the house of Israel, them that provoke me; who have provoked me, they and their fathers to this day.
4 Aa le hiraheko irehe mb’amo ana-dahy gan-tarehe naho fatra-poo, le hoe ty ho asa’o ama’e, Hoe ty nafe’ Iehovà Talè;
And you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord.
5 aa ke hijanjiñe iereo, he tsy hañaoñe, amy t’ie anjomba mpiola; fe ho oni’iareo te tañivo’iareo ao ty mpitoky.
Whether then indeed they shall hear or fear, (for it is a provoking house, ) yet they shall know that you are a prophet in the midst of them.
6 Aa ihe ana’ ondatio, ko ihembaña’o, ko irevendreveña’o o saontsi’eo fa mpiola iereo, aa ndra te mpiama’o ty fatike naho hisatse, naho kalengo ty imoneña’o, ko hembaña’o o saontsi’eo, vaho ko miriatsandry aolo’e eo, fa akiba miola iereo.
And you, son of man, fear them not, nor be dismayed at their face; (for they will madden and will rise up against you round about, and you dwell in the midst of scorpions): be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their countenance, for it is a provoking house.
7 Le ho taroñe’o am’ iereo o volakoo, ke hijanjiñe he tsy hañaoñe, amy t’ie mpiola.
And you shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear or fear: for it is a provoking house.
8 Aa ihe ka, ana’ ondatio, tsendreño ty ho volañeko; ko miola irehe manahake ty fiolà’ i anjomba mpiolay; sokafo ty falie’o, vaho kamao o azotsokoo.
And you, son of man, hear him that speaks to you; be not you provoking, as the provoking house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you.
9 Aa le nenteako te ingo ty fitañe nahitrik’ amako, naho tama’e ao ty boke peleke;
And I looked, and behold, a hand stretched out to me, and in it a volume of a book.
10 navela’e amako, ie sinokitse añ’ate’e naho alafe’e, naho nisokireñ’ ama’e ao ty fandalañe naho ty fihontohañe, vaho ty hankàñe.
And he unrolled it before me: and in it the front and the back were written [upon]: and there was written [in it] Lamentation, and mournful song, and woe.
