< Ezekiela 16 >

1 Niheo amako indraike ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 O ana’ondatio, tohino t’Ierosalaime ty amo hativà’ iareoo,
Son of man, make known unto Jerusalem her abominations,
3 le ano ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà Talè am’ Ierosalaime: Boak’ an-tane’ i nte-Kanàney ty nihirifa’o naho ty fifokoa’o; nte-Amore ty rae’o, vaho nte-Kite ty rene’o.
And thou shalt say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal unto Jerusalem, Thy origin and thy birth are out of the land of Canaan: thy father was an Emorite, and thy mother a Hittite.
4 Le i fisamahañe azoy, amy andro nahatoly azoy, tsy tinampake ty foe’o vaho tsy nisasaeñe an-drano irehe hañalio azo; tsy nozañan-tsira, tsy nifolokoñañe.
And as for thy birth, on the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, nor wast thou washed in water to he cleansed; and thou wast not rubbed with salt, nor wrapt in swaddling clothes.
5 Tsy niferenaiñam-pihaino, tsy nanoañe leo raik’ amy rezay; fe nariañe amoka añe ty fiai’o hoe te tsy vara, amy andro nisamahañ’azoy.
No eye looked with pity on thee, to do any of these things unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out on the open field, with a loathing of thy body, on the day that thou wast born.
6 Niary ama’o iraho vaho nizoeko te nandeotse azo ty lio’o, le hoe ty asako ama’o, Aa ndra t’ie ami’ty lio’o, miveloma, Eka mbe tamo lio’oo irehe te nataoko ty hoe; miveloma,
But I passed then by thee, and I saw thee stained with thy own blood, and I said unto thee, In thy blood, live; yea, I said unto thee, In thy blood, live.
7 naho nampanaranaheko ho maro manahake o ahetse an-kivokeo, le nitombo naho nihaabo, naho nihamineñe ravake fanjaka; nivoatse o nono’oo vaho nihalava o volo’oo; fe nihalo vaho nibongy.
Myriads, like the vegetation of the field, did I make of thee, and thou didst increase and become great, and thou attainedst the highest attractions: with thy breasts developed, and thy hair full grown; but thou wast still naked and bare.
8 Niary ama’o iraho nisary naho ingo te tondrok’ ama’o ty san-katea; aa le narongoko ama’o ty sarimboko naho nisaroñako ty heña’o; le nifanta ama’o vaho nifañina ama’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, le ninjare Ahiko irehe;
But I passed then by thee, and saw thee, and, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread the skirt of my garment over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I swore unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Eternal, and thou becamest mine.
9 sinasako an-drano, eka kinotriko ama’o ty lio’o, vaho nañiliñako menake.
Then did I bathe thee with water, yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee; and I anointed thee with oil.
10 Nisikinako an-tsatam-bahotse, naho nampiombeako holitse, naho nadiako lamba leny marerarera, vaho nasaroko lande.
I clothed thee also with broidered work, and made thee shoes of badger's skin, and I placed on thy head a turban of fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.
11 Nampiradoradoako bije, naho niravahako o sira’oo, vaho rava-binanditse am-bozo’o eo.
And I decked thee with ornaments, and I placed bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain around thy neck.
12 Nanoako bange añ’oro’o naho kiviro an-tsofi’o eo vaho sabaka homozohozo an-doha’o eo.
And I placed a ring on thy nose, and earrings in thy ears, and a crown of splendor on thy head.
13 Izay ty nañaminañ’ azo am-bolafoty naho volamena; naho nisaroñ’ azo an-deny marerarera naho lande naho an-tsatam-bahotse; ie nihinañe bom-bare-bolè soa, reketse tantele naho menake, naho nimontramontra vaho nionjon-ko evaem-panjaka.
Thus wast thou ornamented with gold and silver; and thy garments were of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; fine flour, and honey, and oil didst thou eat: and thou wast exceedingly beautiful, and thou didst succeed to acquire dominion.
14 Niboele amo kilakila’ ndatio ty hatsomerentsere’o; amy te niginohe’ ty engeko nanoako ama’oy, hoe t’Iehovà Talè. c
And thy fame went forth among the nations because of thy beauty; for it was perfect through my glorious ornament, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 Fe niatoa’o ty hasoa-vinta’o, naho nihisa an-karapiloañe ty amy faràm-binta’oy vaho fonga nadoa’o amy ze niary eo ty hatsimirira’o; hene niantofa’o ze nimb’ama’o.
But thou didst trust in thy beauty, and play the harlot because of thy fame, and lavish thy lewd caresses on every one that passed by—on him they were bestowed.
16 Nihamine’o amo siki’oo ty kitrely tsaratseake naho nanoa’o hakarapiloañe; kanao tsy ho oniñe ty mañirinkiriñe izay, vaho tsy ho trea ka.
And thou didst take from thy garments, and deck thee high-places with divers colors, and play the harlot thereupon: never should the like come to pass, and never should it be so.
17 Le rinambe’o ka o firavahan-tsomerentsere’oo, i volamena naho volafoty natoloko azoy, nitsene’o sare’ ondaty vaho nanoa’o hakalalijahañe,
And thou didst take thy elegant ornaments of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and make for thyself male images, and play the harlot with them;
18 le rinambe’o o siki’o maro-voloo hanikina’o aze, vaho nengae’o ama’e i menakoy naho i tsotsekoy;
And thou didst take thy broidered garments, and cover them: and my oil and my incense didst thou place before them.
19 i mofoko natoloko azoy; i bon-kaneñe soay, naho i menake reketse tantele nafahako azoy le nazotso’o ama’e ami’ty harifondrifo’e; izay ty ie, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
And my bread which I had given thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, which I had let thee eat, even this didst thou set before them for a sweet savour: yes, so was it, saith the Lord Eternal.
20 Mbore rinambe’o ka o ana-dahi’oo naho o anak’ ampela’oo, o sinama’o ho Ahikoo, vaho nisoroña’o habotseke. Ata’o ho raha kede hao o hakarapiloa’oo?
And thou didst take thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hadst born unto me, and didst slaughter these unto them to be devoured; [but] were thy acts of lewdness not yet enough?
21 Zinama’o o anakoo toe nisoroñe’o amo samposampon-drahao, ie nampirangae’o.
That thou didst slay my children, and give them up to cause them to pass through the fire for them?
22 Aa amy ze hene hativà’o naho amo fonga hakarapiloa’oo le nandikofa’o o andron-katanora’oo ie nibongy naho nihalo vaho nileore’ i lio’oy.
And in all thy abominations and thy acts of lewdness thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, when thou wast stained with thy blood.
23 Ie añe iaby i halotsere’oy (hankàñe ama’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè),
And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, —[woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord Eternal; ]—
24 le songa niranjie’o tamboho, naho nitsenea’o kitrely o lalañeo;
That thou didst build unto thyself eminences, and make thyself elevations in every street.
25 nanoe’o am-pifotoran-damoke eo o kitreli’o iabio, naho vineta’o ty hamotsotsora’o, naho vinela’o amy ze fonga niary eo o voro-pe’oo, vaho nampitomboe’o ty hatsimirira’o.
On the corner of every road didst thou build thy elevations, and make thy beauty abominable, and spread out thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiply thy acts of lewdness.
26 Nañarapiloe’o amo ana’ i Mitsraimeo, o maromaso mpañarine azoo, vaho nampitomboe’o ty hatsimirira’o hanigike ty habosehako.
And thou didst play the harlot with the Egyptians, thy neighbors, with large limbs, and multiply thy acts of lewdness, to provoke me to anger.
27 Inao, arè, natorakitsiko ama’o ty tañako naho naketrako ty fanahanako vaho tinoloko an-tsatrin’ tro’ o malaiñe azoo, o anak’ ampelan-te Pilisty salatse ami’ ty hatsimirira’oo.
And, behold, I stretched out my hand over thee, and diminished thy stated portion; and I gave thee up unto the will of those that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who were made to blush for thy incestuous course.
28 Mbore nanoa’o hakarapiloañe amo ana’ i Asoreo amy t’ihe tsy nieneñe; mbe nanoe’o hatsimirirañe avao fa tsy nietsake.
Then didst thou play the harlot with the sons of Asshur, because thou wast unsatiable: yea, thou didst play the harlot with them, and wast even then not satisfied.
29 Nampitomboe’o an-tane Kenàne añe naho amo nte-Kasdio ka ty hakarapiloa’o, fe mbe tsy nahaeneñ’ azo.
And thou didst multiply thy lewdness with the traders' land as far as Chaldea; and even with this wast thou not satisfied.
30 Akore ty hamavozoan-tro’o, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, te ihe mitolom-panao irezay, toe satan-karapilo-mena,
How very corrupt is thy heart, saith the Lord Eternal, seeing thou didst all these things, deeds of an abandoned lewd woman;
31 namboare’ o akiba’oo an-doha’ ze hene lalañe, naho songa nandranjia’o tamboho ankaboa’ ze atao tameañe! fe tsy nanahake o tsimirirañeo irehe kanao nalain-tambe.
Seeing that thou didst build thy eminences at the corner of every road, and make thy elevations in every street; and wast not like a harlot, as thou scornedst the wages.
32 Hoe tañanjomba maromaso mpamonje ambahiny hisolo i vali’ey!
O thou adulterous wife! who, while bound to her husband, receiveth strangers!
33 Toe fonga tambezañe o karapiloo, fa ihe ka manambe o miolots’ ama’oo, vaho banabanae’o hitotok’ azo tok’ aia tok’aia ty amo hatsimirira’oo.
Unto all harlots they give presents; but thou hast given thy presents to all thy lovers, and hast bribed them, that they might come unto thee from every side in thy acts of lewdness.
34 Aa le mifamotetse amo ampela ila’eo ami’ty hakalalija’o; tsy eo ty manahak’ azo, kanao mpanolon-tambe fa tsy toloren-tambe, toe mifamotetse.
And the reverse was the case with thee from [other] women in thy acts of lewdness, that men did not follow thee to seek thy lewd caresses; and because thou gavest the wages, and no wages were given thee: so was it the reverse with thee.
35 Ie amy zao ry karapilo, tsanoño ty tsara’ Iehovà.
Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord!
36 Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè: Kanao nadoañe ty haloloa’o naho naboak’ amo sakeza’oo o heña’o ty amy hakarapiloa’o naho o samposampo tiva’oo vaho ty amy lio’ o keleia’o nibanabana’oo;
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thy wealth was squandered, and thy nakedness was uncovered through thy lewd acts with thy lovers, and with all thy abominable idols, and for the blood of thy children, whom thou didst give unto them:
37 ie amy zao, henteo te sindre hatontoko o sipa’o nifalea’oo, eka! ze fonga nitea’o, reketse o niheje’oo; vata’e hatontoko hiatreatre azo boak’ an-kotso-valo, le haborako o heña’oo, hahatreavañe ze hene fiboridaña’o.
Therefore, behold, I will gather all thy lovers, whom thou hast given pleasure, and all whom thou hast loved, together with all whom thou hast hated, —yea, I will gather them all round about thee, and will uncover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
38 Le ho zakaeko: hoe rakemba vinamba naho nampiori-dio ty hizakàñe azo; vaho hafetsako ama’o ty liom-kaviñerañe naho farahy.
And I will judge thee, as adulteresses and women that shed blood are judged; and I will bring upon thee the blood of fury and jealousy.
39 Le haseseko am-pità’ iareo naho ho rotsahe’ iareo o toe’o aboo naho ho demohe’ iareo o kitreli’oo, le hampikorendahe’ iareo ka o siki’oo naho hitavañe ty haraom-bolonahe’o vaho hapo’ iereo mibongy naho mihalo irehe.
And I will also give thee up into their hand, and they shall pull down thy eminences, and shall break down thy elevations; and they shall strip thee of thy clothes, and they shall take thy elegant ornaments, and leave thee naked and bare.
40 Hendese iereo haname azo ka i lahialeñey, hametsa-bato ama’o vaho hitombok’ azo am-pibara.
And they shall bring up against thee an assembly, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords;
41 Ho forototoe’ iareo añ’ afo o anjomba’oo naho hizaka azo añatrefan-drakemba maro; le hazìko irehe tsy hanao tsimirirañe, tsy hanambe ka.
And they shall burn thy houses with fire, and execute punishments on thee before the eyes of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from being a harlot, and also the wages [of sin] shalt thou not give any more.
42 Izay ty hampanintsiñe ty fifomboko ama’o naho hampienga ty famarahiako ama’o le hitsiñe iraho vaho tsy ho boseke ka.
And then will I assuage my fury on thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
43 Amy t’ie nandikoke ty san-katora’o naho nanigìke ty habosehako ty amy rezay; le inao! navahako an-doha’o eo o sata’oo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè; soa tsy fonga hatovo’o amo hativà’ o ila’eo o haloloañe zao.
Because that thou didst not remember the days of thy youth, but didst irritate me with all these things: behold, therefore I also will bring thy course upon thy head, saith the Lord Eternal, and thou shalt no more commit incest with all thy [other] abominations.
44 Inao, te ze hene mpanoñon-drazan-drehake ro hanao o razan-drehake zao ty ama’o: Hambañe aman-drene’e ty anak’ ampela’e.
Behold, every one that speaketh in proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As the mother is, so is her daughter.
45 Ihe anak’ ampelan-drene’o ty malaim-baly naho amory; ihe ka i rahavaven-droahavave’o nalaim-baly naho o keleia’eoy; nte-Kite ty rene’o naho nte-Amore ty rae’o.
Thou art thy mother's daughter, loathing her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, who have loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Emorite.
46 I Somerone rahavave’o, toe zoke’o, rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo ro mimoneñe an-taña’o havia eo; vaho zai’o t’i Sedome mitobok’ an-taña’o havana eo rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo.
And thy elder sister is Samaria, she with her daughters, that dwelleth at thy left hand, and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom with her daughters.
47 Toe tsy norihe’o ty sata’ iareo, naho tsy nanoe’o ty sata rati’ iareo, fe hoe raha biliti’e ama’o t’ie nilombolombo’ iareo ami’ty haleora’ o sata’o iabio.
Yet not even in their ways didst thou walk, nor act according to their abominations: as though this were quite too little, and thou wast more corrupt than they in all thy ways.
48 Amy te velon-dRaho, hoe t’Iehovà Talè, mbe lia’e tsy nanoe’ i Sedome zai’o naho o anak’ampela’eo o nanoe’o naho o anak’ampela’oo.
As I live, saith the Lord Eternal, Sodom thy sister, she with her daughters, hath not done as thou hast done, thou with thy daughters.
49 Inao! zao ty hakeo’ i zai’o Sedomey: firengevohañe naho hatemboañe vaho fitobahan-kavotroañe ty ama’e naho o anak’ampela’eo, naho tsy nampahozare’e ty fitàm-pisotry ndra o rarakeo.
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: Pride, abundance of food, and prosperous security were hers and her daughters'; but the hand of the poor and needy did she not strengthen.
50 Nitrotroaboke iereo, nanao hativañe añatrefako eo; aa kanao nataoko te hahasoa, le nakareko añe.
And they became haughty, and committed abominations before me: therefore did I remove them when I saw their course.
51 Le i Somerone, ndra te tsy nanoe’e ty an-tsasan-kakeo’o; toe nampitomboe’o mandikoatse iereo o haloloa’oo, le hoe nañavantañ’ o zoke’oo o fonga hativañe nanoe’oo.
And Samaria hath not committed even the half of thy sins; but thou didst multiply thy abominations more than they; and thou hast justified thy sisters through all thy abominations which thou hast done.
52 Aa ihe nizaka o rahavave’oo, vaveo ty hasalara’ o hakeo nanoe’oo, ie nilosore’o ty hativà’ iareo; toe vantañe te ama’o iereo; mimeñara vaho vaveo heike o fisalara’oo amy te nivantañe’o o rahavave’oo.
Bear then thou also thy own confusion, which thou didst adjudge unto each of thy sisters; through thy sins, which thou hast committed more abominably than they, are they made more righteous than thou: therefore thou also—be ashamed, and bear thy confusion, since thou hast justified thy sisters.
53 Aa ie afoteko ty fandrohiza’ iareo, ty fandrohiza’ i Sedome rekets’ o anak’ampela’eo naho ty fandrohiza’ i Somerone mitraok’ amo anak’ ampela’eo, le habalako ka ty fandrohiza’ o mpirohi’oo añivo’ iareo ao;
And I will bring back again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of the captives in the midst of them:
54 soa te ho vave’o ty fisalara’o, vaho ho meñare’o o fonga sata nanoe’oo, ihe nimpañohò iareo.
In order that thou mayest bear thy confusion, and mayest be confounded because of all that thou hast done, when thou art a comfort unto them.
55 Ie mitampoly amy toe’ iareo valoha’ey t’i Sedome rekets’ o anak’ ampela’eo, naho mibalike mb’amy fanoe’ iareoy ka t’i Somerone miroanak’ ampela’e, le himpoly an-toe’o haehae ka irehe naho o anak’ ampela’oo.
And thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former state, and thou and thy daughters shall return to your former state.
56 Tsy nati’ ty vava’o hao t’i Sedome rahavave’o tamy ihe nimpirengevokey?
And was not thy sister Sodom a report in thy mouth in the days of thy pride,
57 taolo’ te nitendreke ty halò-tsere’o, manahake tañ’ andro ninjè’ o ana’o Arame miariseho azoo, naho o anak’ ampela’ o nte-Pelisity mañohoke azoo: o mpañamavo azo nainai’eo.
Before yet thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all those round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, who taunted thee on all sides?
58 Fa nivavè’o o haloloa’oo naho o hativa’oo hoe t’Iehovà.
Thy incest and thy abominations, —thou thyself hadst to bear them, saith the Lord.
59 Aa le hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè, Hanoeko ama’o hambañe amy nanoe’oy, ie nitsambolitio’o i fantay hivaliha’o amy fañinay.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, thou who hast despised the oath by breaking the covenant.
60 Fa ho tiahiko i nifañinako ama’o tañ’ andron-katora’oy vaho hajadoko ama’o ty fañina tsy ho modo.
Nevertheless will I indeed remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
61 Ho tiahi’o amy zao o sata’oo, le ho salatse naho ho rambese’o indraike i rahavave’o rey, ty zoke’o naho ty zai’o; le hatoloko azo iereo ho anak’ ampela, fa tsy amy fañina’oy.
And thou shalt then remember thy ways, and be confounded, when thou receivest thy sisters, both those that are older than thou and younger than thou: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, though not because thou wast faithful to the covenant.
62 I fañinakoy ty hajadoko ama’o, le ho fohi’o te Izaho Iehovà,
And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord:
63 soa te ho tiahi’o, naho ho meñatse, vaho tsy hanoka-bava ka ty amy fisalara’oy, ie fonga hahako o sata-rati’oo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
In order that thou mayest remember, and feel ashamed, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy confusion, when I forgive thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Eternal.
