Eksodosy 9
1 Le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Miziliha amy Parò ao le ano ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ o nte-Evreo: Ampiengao ondatikoo hitoroñe ahy.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him, 'Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says this: “Let my people go so that they may worship me.”
2 Aa naho tsy apo’o hañavelo, fa mbe itambozore’o,
But if you refuse to let them go, if you still keep them back,
3 le ingo ho amo hare’oo ty fità’ Iehovà, amo an-kivokeo, amo soavalao, amo borìkeo, amo ramevao, amo lia-raikeo naho amo añombeo ty kolàñe mandrokènkañe.
then Yahweh's hand will be on your cattle in the fields and on the horses, donkeys, camels, herds, and flocks, and it will cause a terrible disease.
4 Fe hampiambahe’ Iehovà o hare’ Israeleo, amo hare’ i Mitsraimeo, le ndra inoñ’ inoñ tsy ho mate amo ana’ Israeleo.
Yahweh will treat Israel's cattle and Egypt's cattle differently and no animal that belongs to the Israelites will die.
5 Nifotoañe’ Iehovà ami’ty hoe, Hamaray te hanoe’ Iehovà i hoe zay an-tane atoy.
Yahweh has fixed a time; he has said, “It is tomorrow that I will do this thing in the land.”'”
6 Aa le nanoe’ Iehovà amy loak’androy; fonga niatantiry ty hare’ i Mitsraime, fe leo raik’ amo hare’ o ana’ Israeleo tsy nimate.
Yahweh did this the next day: All the cattle of Egypt died, but none of the Israelites' animals died, not one animal.
7 Nampañontane t’i Parò le nirendre’e te ndra raik’ amo haren’ ana’ Israeleo tsy nimate; fe nientetse ty arofo’ i Parò vaho tsy nampiengae’e mb’eo ondatio.
Pharaoh investigated, and, behold, not even one animal of the Israelites died. But his heart was stubborn, so he did not let the people go.
8 Le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè naho amy Aharone, Songa mangalà lavenoke mahapea fitàñe boak’ an-toñak’ ao le habobò’ i Mosè mb’ andikeram-beo am-pahaisaha’ i Parò;
Then Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take some handfuls of ashes from a kiln. You, Moses, must throw the ashes up into the air while Pharaoh is watching.
9 le hinjare deboke era’ i tane Mitsraimey, le hampitovoañe bae mangorakorake amy ze ondaty naho biby hanitsike an-tane Mitsraime.
They will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt. They will cause blisters and sores to break out on people and animals throughout all the land of Egypt.”
10 Aa le nandrambe lavenok’ an-toñak’ ao iareo naho nijohañe añatrefa’ i Parò naho nadoveve’ i Mosè an-tioke izay vaho nampitovoañe bae am’ondatio naho amo bibio.
So Moses and Aaron took ashes from a kiln and stood in front of Pharaoh. Then Moses threw the ashes up into the air. The ashes caused blisters and sores to break out on people and animals.
11 Tsy nahafijohañe añatrefa’ i Mosè o ambiasao ty amo baeo, fa nipetak’ amo ambiasao naho amo nte-Mitsraime ila’eo ka o baeo.
The magicians could not resist Moses because of the blisters, because the blisters were on them and on all the other Egyptians.
12 Fe nampijadiriñe’ Iehovà ty arofo’ i Parò vaho tsy nihaoña’e, amy tsinara’ Iehovà amy Mosèy.
Yahweh hardened Pharaoh's heart, so Pharaoh did not listen to Moses and Aaron. This was just as Yahweh had said to Moses that Pharaoh would do.
13 Le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Mañaleñalèña, le mijohàña añatrefa’ i Parò vaho anò ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ o nte-Evreo: Ampiengao ondatikoo, hitalaho amako.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, stand in front of Pharaoh, and say to him, 'Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says this: “Let my people go so that they may worship me.
14 Aa ie henane zao, hahitriko an-tro’o ao naho amo roandria’oo vaho amo ondati’oo ze hene tolom-boiñe amako, hahafohina’o te tsy eo ty mañirinkiriñe ahy an-tane-bey atoy.
For this time I will send all my plagues on you yourself, on your servants and your people. I will do this so that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.
15 Aa naho nahitiko henaneo ty tañako, hipaok’ azo naho ondati’oo ami’ty angorosy le ho naito an-tane atoy,
By now I could have reached out with my hand and attacked you and your people with disease, and you would have been eradicated from the land.
16 fe toe nadoko, soa te ihe ty hampiboahañe ty haozarako le hanitsike ty tane toy ty fitaroñañe ty añarako.
But it was for this reason I allowed you to survive: In order to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed throughout all the earth.
17 Ie amy zao, hiebotsebotse am’ ondatikoo hao? tsy hampiengà’o.
You are still lifting yourself up against my people by not letting them go.
18 Aa ie hamaray hoe zao, le hampigadaboñeko havandra jabajaba te amy ze mbe lia’e tsy nizoeñe e Mitsraime ao mifototse ami’ty andro nañorizañe aze pake henaneo
Listen! Tomorrow about this time I will bring a very strong hail storm, such as has not been seen in Egypt since the day it was begun until now.
19 Mampihitrifa arè, le ampipaliro ze hare’o naho ze raha’o an-kivok’ ao, fa hivalenkañe ze ondaty ndra biby zoeñe an-diolio ey tsy nampolieñe, t’ie idoindoiña’ i havandray.
Now then, send men and gather your cattle and everything you have in the fields to a safe place. Every man and animal that is in the field and is not brought home—the hail will come down on them, and they will die.”'”
20 Ze mpitoro’ i Parò nihembañe amy tsara’ Iehovày, songa nihenekeneke nampipalitse o mpitoro’eo naho o hàre’eo.
Then those of Pharaoh's servants who believed in Yahweh's message hurried to bring their slaves and cattle into the houses.
21 Fe ze tsy nañaoñe ty tsara’ Iehovà ka, le nado’e an-kivok’ añe avao o mpitoro’eo naho o hàre’eo.
But those who did not take Yahweh's message seriously left their slaves and cattle in the fields.
22 Hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Ahitio mb’ andikerañe ey ty fità’o hampiponake havandra era’ ty tane Mitsraime, amy ze ondaty naho biby vaho ze hene hatae an-kivok’ ey, an-tane Mitsraime ao.
Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Reach out with your hand toward the sky so that there will be hail in all the land of Egypt, on people, on animals, and on all the plants in the fields throughout the land of Egypt.”
23 Aa le nampitakare’ i Mosè mb’ andikerañey ty kobai’e le nampidoindoiñe’ Iehovà ty àmpiñe naho havandra vaho nirifatse mb’an-tane mb’eo ty afo. Le nampigadabòñe’ Iehovà havandra an-tane Mitsraime ao;
Moses reached out with his staff toward the sky, and Yahweh sent thunder, hail, and lightning to the ground. He also rained hail on the land of Egypt.
24 havandra nibilobiloen-kelatse añivo’e ao, figadabon-kavandra mbe lia’e tsy nideboñe an-tane Mitsraime ao sikal’ amy te nififeheañe.
So there were hail and lightning mixed with hail, very severe, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25 Zinama’ i havandray ze hene an-tameañe an-tane Mitsraime ao ndra ondaty ndra hare; fonga navitavita’e ze rongoñe a montoñe ao vaho fonga pinozapoza’e o hatae an-kivokeo.
Throughout all the land of Egypt, the hail struck everything in the fields, both people and animals. It struck every plant in the fields and broke every tree.
26 Fe tsy nipaohen-kavandra o Ana’ Israeleo an-tane Gosenao.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived, was there no hail.
27 Aa le kinoi’ i Parò t’i Mosè naho i Aharone le nanoa’e ty hoe, Toe nandilatse iraho henaneo; Iehovà ro vantañe vaho aman-tahin-draho naho ondatikoo.
Then Pharaoh sent men to summon Moses and Aaron. He said to them, “I have sinned this time. Yahweh is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28 Mihalalia am’ Iehovà! Ampihankaño o hotroke naho havandran’ Añahareo! Le hampiengako, le tsy hampitambatse anahareo ka.
Pray to Yahweh, because the mighty thunderbolts and hail are too much. I will let you go, and you will stay here no longer.”
29 Hoe t’i Mosè ama’e, Ie vata’e miakatse ty rova toy le hahitiko mb’ am’ Iehovà o tañakoo vaho hijihetse i àmpiñey le tsy ho eo i havandray, haharendreha’o te a Iehovà ty tane toy.
Moses said to him, “As soon as I leave the city, I will spread my hands out to Yahweh. The thunder will stop, and there will not be any more hail. In this way you will know that the earth belongs to Yahweh.
30 Fa ihe naho o mpitoro’oo, apotako te mboe tsy mañeveñe am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare avao.
But as for you and your servants, I know that you do not yet really honor Yahweh God.”
31 (Ie amy zao, fa nianto iaby ty vare-leny naho ty vare-hordea, fa niregorego i hordeay vaho namòñe i vare-leniy.
Now the flax and the barley were ruined, for the barley was maturing in the ear, and the flax was in bloom.
32 Fe tsy nijoieñe ty vare-bolè naho ty bolè-lahi’e fa malaom-pitovoañe.)
But the wheat and the spelt were not harmed because they were later crops.
33 Aa le niavotse boak’ amy Parò t’i Mosè, niakatse i rovay. Nahiti’e mb’ amy Iehovà o fità’eo le songa nijihetse i àmpiñey naho i havandray vaho tsy nampikojojoahañe an-tane i orañey.
When Moses had left Pharaoh and the city, he spread out his hands to Yahweh; the thunder and hail stopped, and the rain came down no more.
34 Aa vata’e nioni’ i Parò te nijihetse i orañey naho i havandray naho i àmpiñey le mbe nanovon-kakeo; nampigañe’e ty arofo’e, ie naho o mpitoro’eo.
When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart, together with his servants.
35 Aa le niha-jadiriñe ty arofo’ i Parò le tsy nampiengae’e o ana’ Israeleo, amy tsinara’ Iehovà amy Mosèy.
Pharaoh's heart was hardened, so he did not let the people of Israel go. This was the way that Yahweh had said to Moses that Pharaoh would act.
