< Eksodosy 5 >
1 Tampetse izay le niheo mb’amy Parò mb’eo t’i Mosè naho i Aharone, nanao ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele: Angao hañavelo mb’eo ondatikoo hanoe’ iereo sabadidak’ amako am-patrambey añe.
And after that Moses and Aaron went in, and said unto Pharaoh, Thus hath said the Everlasting One, the God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
2 Aa hoe t’i Parò, Ia ze o Iehovà zao te ho haoñeko ty feo’e hampiavotako Israele. Amoeako ze o Iehovà zao vaho tsy hapoko hionjoñe ka t’Israele.
And Pharaoh said, Who is the Everlasting, whose voice I am to obey, to let Israel go? I know not the Everlasting, nor will I let Israel go.
3 Le hoe iereo, Nifañaoñe ama’ay t’i Andrianañahare’ o nte-Evreo; aa le hañavelo lia telo andro mb’ ampatrañe añe zahay hisoroñe am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ay, tsy mone hampiambotraha’e am’ angorosy ndra fibara.
And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, a three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest he fall upon us with the pestilence, or with the sword.
4 Fe hoe ty mpanjaka’ i Mitsraime am’ iereo. O Mosè naho Aharone, inom-bao ty hampisitahañe ondatio amo fitoloña’eo? Mimpolia amo fijinia’areoo!
And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, hinder the people from their works? get you unto your own affairs.
5 Tinovo’ i Parò ty hoe, Ingo te maro t’indaty an-tane ao henaneo vaho ipaia’ areo hitroatse tsy hitoloñe!
And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye disturb them in the pursuit of their labors.
6 Aa le linili’ i Parò amy andro zay amo mpanao bozizi’ iareoo naho amo mpisari’ iareoo, ty hoe:
And Pharaoh commanded on the same day the taskmasters of the people, and its officers, saying,
7 Tsy hatolotse ahetse ka ondatio fe hamboatse birike mira amy teoy; angao hatonto’ iareo ze ahetse paiaeñe.
Ye shall no more give the people straw to make the bricks, as yesterday and the day before; they themselves shall go and gather themselves straw.
8 Le ampano’ areo birike mira amy nanoeñe taoloy, tsy haketrake, amy t’ie votro, izay ty mampitoreo iareo ami’ty hoe: Apoho hiavotse añe hisoroñe aman’ Añahare’ay.
And the number of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall impose upon them, ye shall not diminish aught thereof; for they are idle: therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
9 Anovoño asa ondatio, hifanehafa’ iareo tsy hitsanom-bolam-bande.
Let the work be made to lie heavily upon the men, that they may have enough to do therein; and that they may not pay attention to false words.
10 Aa le niakatse mb’eo o mpanao bozizio naho o mpisari’ ondatioo, nanao ty hoe am’ondatio, Hoe t’i Parò, Tsy hitolorako ahetse.
And the taskmasters of the people and its officers went out, and they said to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you any straw.
11 Akia, atontono ahetse amy ze hahatendreha’ areo, fe tsy haketrake ty fitoloña’ areo.
Go ye, get yourselves straw from wherever ye can find it; yet not the least shall be taken off from your work.
12 Aa le fonga niparaitak’ an-tane Mitsraime ao ondatio nanontone tain-ava hasolo i bokay.
And the people scattered themselves abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.
13 Tinaentae’ o mpanao bozizio ka ami’ty hoe, Henefo ty fitoloña’ areo lomoñandro ho mira amy fasiañ’ ahetse teoy.
And the taskmasters were urgent, saying, Fulfill your works, every day its due portion, just as when there was straw.
14 Finofoke ka o talèm-pitoloña’ o ana’ Israele najado’ o mpanao bozizi’ i Paròo am’ iareoo, ami’ty hoe, Akore te tsy nihenefa’ areo anindroany naho omale ty lili’areo amo birike manahake te taoloo?
And the officers of the children of Israel, whom the taskmasters of Pharaoh had set over them, were beaten, as these said, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick as heretofore, both yesterday and today?
15 Aa le niheo mb’amy Parò mb’eo o talè ana’ Israeleo nitoreo ty hoe, Ino ty anoa’o hoe zao o mpitoro’oo?
And the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?
16 Tsy ho tolorañe boka o mpitoro’oo, fa hoe iereo ama’ay, Mañamboara birike! Hehe te finofoke zahay vaho manao hakeo ondati’oo.
Straw is not given unto thy servants, and, Make bricks, say they to us: and, behold, thy servants are beaten, and thy people are treated as sinners.
17 Hoe re, Mikopiso avao ty tembo retia, izay ty atao’ areo ty hoe, Angao hisoroñe amy Iehovà.
But he said, Idle are ye, idle; therefore say ye, Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.
18 Akia, arè, mitromaha fe tsy homeañe ahetse vaho mbe hasese’ areo ty anjara’ birike.
And now go, work, and straw shall not be given you; yet the required number of bricks shall ye deliver.
19 Nirendre’ o talè, ana’ Israeleo, t’ie am-poheke amy saontsi’ey, ty hoe, Tsy haketra’ areo ty anjara birike lomoñandro.
And the officers of the children of Israel saw themselves in the evil necessity to say, Ye shall not diminish aught from your bricks, every day of its task.
20 Ie nienga i Parò, le nifanjò amy Mosè naho i Aharone nijohañe ey hifanalaka am’iereo,
And they met Moses and Aaron, standing in their way, as they came forth from Pharaoh.
21 vaho hoe ty nanoa’ iareo, Ee t’ie ho vazohoe’ Iehovà naho hizaka! Akore ty nañaimboa’ areo anay am-pihaino’ i Parò naho am-pihaino o mpitoro’eo, hanolorañe fibara am-pità’ iareo hañohofa’e loza.
And they said unto them, May the Lord look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
22 Nitolik’ am’ Iehovà indraike t’i Mosè nanao ty hoe, Ry Talè, akore ty fanilofañe ondaty retoañe? Ino o namantoha’o ahio?
And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou let so much evil come upon this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
23 Fa boak’ ami’ty niheovako amy Parò hivolañe amy tahina’oy, le nanoe’e samporerake ondaty retoa vaho tsy rinomba’o ondati’oo.
For, since I came unto Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done more evil to this people; but thou hast in nowise delivered thy people.
