1 Iretoañ’ o fètse ho taroñe’o am’ iereoo:
And these [are] the judgments which you will set before them.
2 Ie mivily ondevo lahilahy nte-Evre le enen-taoñe ty hitoroña’e, f’ie hiavotse hidada ami’ty fahafito, afa-tsongo.
For you will buy a slave Hebrew six years he will serve and in the seventh [year] he will go out to free [person] without paying.
3 Ie dogalahy te mizilik’ ao le i hadogà’ey ty hiakara’e; ie manam-baly te mizilike le amam-bali’e ka te hiavotse.
If with body his he will come with body his he will go out if [is the] husband of a wife he and she will go out wife his with him.
4 Ie tolora’ ty talè’e valy vaho mahatoly ana-dahy ndra anak’ ampela ama’e le ho a i talè’ey i vali’ey naho o ana’eo, le doga re te hiakatse ao.
If master his he will give to him a wife and she will bear to him sons or daughters the woman and children her she will belong to master her and he he will go out with body his.
5 Fe naho mitsey ty hoe i mpitoro’ey, Koko­ako ty talèko naho ty valiko vaho o anakoo; tsy te hiakatse ampidadàn-draho,
And if carefully he will say the slave I love master my wife my and children my not I will go out a free [person].
6 le hasese’ i talè’ey añatrefan’ Añahare. Hendeseñe mb’an-tsarirañe mb’eo ndra am-pikalan-dalañe eo le ho trofahe’ ty talè’e fañity ty ravembia’e vaho ho toroñe’e kitro añ’afe’e.
And he will bring near him master his to God and he will bring near him to the door or to the doorpost and he will pierce master his ear his with the awl and he will serve him for ever.
7 Ie aleta’ t’in­daty ho ondevo ty anak’ ampela’e, le tsy hanahake ondevo lahi­lahy ty hiakara’e.
And if he will sell a man daughter his to a female slave not she will go out when go out the [male] slaves.
8 Naho heje’ ty talè’e, ie jinobo’e ho am-bata’e, le azo jebañeñe; fe tsy hanan-jo handetak’ aze ami’ty ambahiny naho heje’e, ie nifañahia’e.
If she is bad in [the] eyes of master her who (for himself *Q(K)*) he designated her and he will let be ransomed her to a people foreign not he will have dominion to sell her because has dealt treacherously he with her.
9 Aa naho fofoe’e ho a i ana-dahi’ey le hampanahafe’e amo anak’ ampelao.
And if for son his he will designate her according to [the] custom of daughters he will do to her.
10 Ie mañenga valy tovo’e le tsy aketrake ty mahakama’e ndra ty lamba’e ndra ty fialoza’e.
If another [woman] he will take for himself food her covering her and right to intercourse her not he will reduce.
11 F’ie tsy hañeneke i telo rezay le hiakatse ampidadàñe re tsy an-tsongo, tsy mandoa vola-foty.
And if three [things] these not he will do for her and she will go out without paying not money.
12 Tsi-mete tsy havetrake ty namofoke ondaty nampikoromak’ aze.
[one who] will strike anyone And he will die certainly he will be put to death.
13 Aa naho tsy nikililieñe, fe nasesen’ Añahare am-pità’e, le ho toroako toetse hirombaha’e.
And that not he was lying in wait and God he allowed to happen to hand his and I will designate for you a place where he will flee there.
14 Fe naho iambotraha’ t’in­daty am-pamañahiañe t’in­daty hamonoa’e am-pitak’ate, le hasita’ areo amy kitrelikoy re hivetrake.
And if he will act presumptuously anyone on neighbor his to kill him with cunning from with altar my you will take him to die.
15 Tsi-mete tsy havetrake ze mandafa rae ndra rene.
And [one who] will strike father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
16 Tsi-mete tsy havetrake ze mampikametse ondaty, he t’ie naleta’e ke te zoeñe am-pità’eo.
And [one who] will steal anyone and he will sell him and he will be found in hand his certainly he will be put to death.
17 Tsi-mete tsy havetrake ze mamàtse rae ndra rene.
And [one who] will curse father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
18 Naho mifañotake t’in­daty vaho dasire’ ty raike am-bato ty raike ndra lihiñe’e an-toto-fetreke, f’ie tsy mivetrake, fa mikopake an-tihy,
And if they will quarrel! men and he will strike anyone neighbor his with a stone or with a fist and not he will die and he will fall to a bed.
19 aa naho mitroatse indatiy naho midraidraitse alafe’e ao am-pitoñoñe, le avotsotse i nandafay, fe havaha’e i fitoboha’ey vaho tsi-mete tsy hatrafe’e ampara’ t’ie jangañe.
If he will arise and he will walk about on the outside on staff his and he will be free from guilt the [one who] struck only sitting still his he will pay for and certainly he will have [him] healed.
20 Naho fofohe’ ondaty an-kobaiñe ty ondevo’e lahilahy ndra ampela, ie mikoromak’ am-pità’eo, le toe ho lilovañe.
And if he will strike anyone [male] slave his or female slave his with the rod and he will die under hand his certainly he will be avenged.
21 Fa naho mbe mitam­beloñe andro roe ndra raike re le tsy ho liloveñe ka, kanao fanaña’e.
Nevertheless if a day or two days he will remain not he will be avenged for [is] money his he.
22 Naho mijoy ty ampela mivesatse t’in­daty mifandrapake vaho mahaboloañe ty ana’e tsy añom-bolañe, fe tsy orihem-boy, le toe ho liloveñe re ami’ty hampanoa’ ty vali’ i rakembay vaho hampañondrohe’ o mpizakao.
And if they will struggle together men and they will strike a woman pregnant and they will come out children her and not it will be harm certainly he will be fined just as he will impose on him [the] husband of the woman and he will give for [the] estimate.
23 F’ie orihem-boy le soloam-piay ty fiay,
And if harm it will be and you will give a life in place of a life.
24 fihaino ty fihaino, famotsy ty famotsy, fitàñe ty fitàñe, fandia ty fandia,
An eye in place of an eye a tooth in place of a tooth a hand in place of a hand a foot in place of a foot.
25 soba ty soba, fere ty fere, fofoke ty fofoke.
Burning in place of burning bruise in place of bruise wound in place of wound.
26 Aa naho trofahe’ ty talè’e ty maso’ ondevo’e lahilahy ndra ampela vaho mijoy aze, le havotso’ i talè’ey hidada i ondevoy, ho solo’ i masoy.
And if he will strike anyone [the] eye of [male] slave his or [the] eye of female slave his and he will destroy it to free [person] he will set free him in place of eye his.
27 Naho apiro’ ty talè ty nife’ ondevo’e ke lahi­lahy he ampela, le havotsotse i ondevoy; hasolo i nifey ty fihahà’e.
And if [the] tooth of [male] slave his or [the] tooth of female slave his he will knock out to free [person] he will set free him in place of tooth his.
28 Naho mitomboke ondaty ty añombe naho mampihomak’ aze le tsi-mete tsy ho retsahem-bato i añombey vaho tsy ho kamaeñe ty nofo’e; fa votsotse ty tompo’ i añom­bey.
And if it will gore an ox a man or a woman and he will die certainly it will be stoned to death the ox and not it will be eaten meat its and [the] owner of the ox [will be] free from guilt.
29 Aa naho nilili’ i añombey omale ndra fak’omale ty mandronjeronje amo tsifa’eo ie nampandrendreheñe i tompo’ey, fe tsy kinala’ i tompo’ey am-pahetse vaho mañe-doza amy t’in­daty ndra rakemba i añombey, le ho fetsahem-bato i añombey vaho havetrake i tom­po’ey.
And if [will be] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and it has been protested on owner its and not he will guard it and it will kill a man or a woman the ox it will be stoned to death and also owner its he will be put to death.
30 Fa naho ampañondroheñe drala ka i tompo’ey, le havaha’ i tompo’ey ho fijebañam-piai’e i ampañavahañ’azey iaby.
If a ransom it will be imposed on him and he will give [the] ransom of life his according to all that it will be imposed on him.
31 Ie mitombok’ ajalahy ndra ampela, le hampañavaheñe an-jaka.
Or a son it will gore or a daughter it will gore according to the judgment this it will be done to him.
32 Naho mitomboke ondevo lahilahy ndra ampela ka i añombey le ampañavaheñe volafoty sekele 30 i tompo’ey vaho retsahem-bato i añombey.
If a [male] slave it will gore the ox or a female slave silver - thirty shekels he will give to master his and the ox it will be stoned to death.
33 Naho sokafe’ t’in­daty ty koboñe, he mihaly kadaha fa tsy kapefa’e vaho mikorovok’ ao ty añombe ndra birìke,
And if he will open anyone a pit or for he will dig anyone a pit and not he will cover it and it will fall there an ox or a donkey.
34 le ty tompo’ i haliy ro hañavake vaho hañondroke drala ami’ ty tompo’ i harey, fe aze i matey.
[the] owner of The pit he will make compensation silver he will repay to owner its and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
35 Naho joie’ ty añombe’ ondaty ty aze, le haleta’ iareo i veloñey naho ho zarae’ iereo roe i vili’ey vaho ifanjarañe i matey.
And if it will strike [the] ox of anyone [the] ox of neighbor his and it will die and they will sell the ox living and they will divide silver its and also the dead [animal] they will divide!
36 Fe naho nifohiñe te lili’ i añombey ty mandronje, fe tsy kinala’ i tompo’ey am-pahetse, le havaha’ i tompo’ey añombe i añombey vaho aze i matey.
Or it is known that [is] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and not he guarded it owner its certainly he will make compensation an ox in place of the ox and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
