< Eksodosy 19 >
1 Amy volam-paha-telo niengà’ o ana’ Israeleo an-tane Mitsraimey, le tsatok’ amy àndro zay t’ie nivotrake am-patrambei’ i Sinay eo.
In the third month of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in this day they have come into the wilderness of Sinai,
2 Fa niakara’ iareo ty Refidime le nipok’ am-patrambei’ i Sinay vaho nitobe an-dratraratra ey. Aa le nañialo aolo’ i vohitsey t’Israele.
and they journey from Rephidim, and enter the wilderness of Sinai, and encamp in the wilderness; and Israel encamps there before the mountain.
3 Niañambone mb’ aman’ Añahare mb’eo amy zao t’i Mosè, le nikanjy aze boak’ am-bohitsey t’Iehovà ami’ty hoe, Ty hoe ty ho saontsie’o amy hasavereña’ Iakòbey vaho ty hatao’o amo ana’ Israeleo:
And Moses has gone up to God, and YHWH calls to him out of the mountain, saying, “Thus you say to the house of Jacob, and declare to the sons of Israel:
4 Fa niisa’ areo ty nanoeko amy Mitsraime naho nibabeako añ’elam-bantio ninday anahareo mb’amako mb’atoy.
You have seen that which I have done to the Egyptians, and [how] I carry you on eagles’ wings and bring you to Myself.
5 Ie amy zao naho toe janjiñe’ areo ty feoko naho mañambeñe i fañinakoy, le ho vàrako miambake te amy ze hene ondaty. Fonga ahiko ty tane toy.
And now, if you really listen to My voice, then you have kept My covenant, and have been a special treasure to Me more than all the peoples, for all the earth [is] Mine;
6 Le ho fifeheam-pisoroñe amako naho fifelehañe miavake nahareo. Izay ty entañe ho saontsie’o amo ana’ Israeleo.
and you are to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation: these [are] the words which you speak to the sons of Israel.”
7 Aa le nimb’eo t’i Mosè nikoike o androanavi’ ondatio vaho natrefe’e am’ iereo i nampitsara’ Iehovà azey.
And Moses comes, and calls for [the] elderly of the people, and sets before them all these words which YHWH has commanded him;
8 Le fonga nanoiñe an-kapindre ondatio, ty hoe, Ho henefa’ay ze tsinara’ Iehovà. Aa le nabali’ i Mosè am’ Iehovà i saontsi’ ondatioy.
and all the people answer together and say, “All that YHWH has spoken we do”; and Moses returns the words of the people to YHWH.
9 Le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Hehe, te miheo mb’ama’o an-drahoñe milodolodo ao iraho, soa t’ie mivolañe, le ho janjiñe’ ondatio irehe vaho hatokisa’ iareo nainai’e. Ie tinaro’ i Mosè am’ Iehovà i saontsi’ ondatioy,
And YHWH says to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in the thickness of the cloud, so that the people hear in My speaking with you, and also believe in you for all time”; and Moses declares the words of the people to YHWH.
10 le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Akia mb’ am’ ondatio mb’eo naho ampiavaho te anito naho hamaray vaho ampanasao iareo o lamba’eo.
And YHWH says to Moses, “Go to the people and you have sanctified them today and tomorrow, and they have washed their garments,
11 Le ampihentseño ho ami’ty andro faha-telo fa herone ty hizotsoa’ Iehovà am-Bohi-Sinay am-pahaisaha’ ze hene ondaty.
and have been prepared for the third day; for on the third day YHWH comes down on Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people.
12 Ampiarikoboño efetsefetse ty am’ondatio ty vohitse toy vaho ano ty hoe, Mitaoa tsy hiañambone mb’ambohitsey le ko tsapaeñe ty indra’e, fa havetrake ze mitsapa o vohitseo.
And you have made a border [for] the people all around, saying, Take heed to yourselves, going up into the mountain or coming against its extremity; whoever is coming against the mountain is certainly put to death;
13 Tsy ho tsapaem-pitàñe, fa ho fetsaham-bato ndra tomboheñe ndra t’ie ondaty ndra biby, fa tsy ho veloñe. Naho mivolañe i antsivay le hitotoke amy vohitsey iereo.
a hand does not come against him, for he is certainly stoned or shot through, whether beast or man—it does not live; in the prolonging of the ram’s horn they go up into the mountain.”
14 Aa le nizotso i vohitsey mb’ am’ ondatio t’i Mosè naho nampiavahe’e ondatio vaho nanasa lamba iereo.
And Moses comes down from the mountain to the people, and sanctifies the people, and they wash their garments;
15 Le hoe re am’ ondatio, Mihentseña ho ami’ ty herone, le ko mitotoke ami’ty valy.
and he says to the people, “Be prepared for the third day, do not come near to a woman.”
16 Ie maraindrai’ i andro fahateloy, le niparapapiake ty àmpiñe miharo helatse vaho ty rahoñe jabajaba amy vohitsey, le akore ty fipoñafa’ i antsivay kanao hene nihondrahondra ondaty an-tobeo.
And it comes to pass, on the third day, while it is morning, that there are voices, and lightnings, and a heavy cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a very strong horn; and all the people who [are] in the camp tremble.
17 Nendese’ i Mosè niakatse i tobey ondatio hifañaoñ’ aman’ Añahare le nijohañe ambane’ i vohitsey.
And Moses brings out the people from the camp to meet God, and they station themselves at the lower part of the mountain,
18 Kinolopon-katoeñe amy zao i vohitsey amy te nizotso ama’e ami’ty afo t’Iehovà; le nifororoake nañambone manahake ty hatoe’ o votrim-birìke sodorañeo ty hatoeñe vaho niozoñozoñe mafe i vohitsey.
and Mount Sinai [is] wholly [in] smoke from the presence of YHWH, who has come down on it in fire, and its smoke goes up as smoke of the furnace, and the whole mountain trembles exceedingly;
19 Ie nitolom-pipopo ty feo i antsivay, nihamatsiañe, le nisaontsy t’i Mosè vaho nanoiñe an-kotroke t’i Andrianañahare.
and the sound of the horn is going on, and [is] very strong; Moses speaks, and God answers him with a voice.
20 Ie nizotso mb’amy Vohi-Sinaiy mb’eo t’Iehovà, ambone’ i vohitsey eo, le kinanji’ Iehovà t’i Mosè hiañambone’ i vohitsey vaho niañambone mb’eo t’i Mosè.
And YHWH comes down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, and YHWH calls for Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses goes up.
21 Le hoe t’Iehovà amy Mosè, Mizotsoa mb’eo le hatahatao ondatio tsy mone hisosoke mb’eo hisamba Iehovà; vaho hifitafita eo ty maro.
And YHWH says to Moses, “Go down, protest to the people, lest they break through to YHWH to see, and many of them have fallen;
22 Le tsi-mete tsy mañefe-batañe hey o mpisoroñeo te hañarine Iehovà hera hiboroboñak’ ama’e t’Iehovà.
and also the priests who are coming near to YHWH sanctify themselves, lest YHWH break forth on them.”
23 Hoe t’i Mosè amy Iehovà, Tsy mete ondatio ty homb’ am-Bohi-Sinay mb’ atoy; amy te Ihe ro nañatahata anay ami’ty hoe, Ampijadoño efetse hañarikatoke i vohitsey vaho ampiambaho.
And Moses says to YHWH, “The people [are] unable to come up to Mount Sinai, for You have protested to us, saying, Make a border [for] the mountain, then you have sanctified it.”
24 Hoe t’Iehovà ama’e, Akia, mizotsoa, le mañambonea mb’ etoy, ihe mindre amy Aharone; le ko ado’o hiboroboñake hiañambone mb’am’ Iehovà o mpiaoloo ndra ondatio; tsy mone hitorotosira’e.
And YHWH says to him, “Go, descend, then you have come up, you and Aaron with you; and the priests and the people do not break through to come up to YHWH, lest He break forth on them.”
25 Aa le nizotso mb’am’ ondatio mb’eo t’i Mosè ninday i tsaray.
And Moses goes down to the people and speaks to them.
