< Estera 5 >

1 Ie amy andro fahateloy, le naombe’ i Estere o sarom-panjaka’eo, le nijohañe an-kiririsa añate’ i anjombam-panjakay, tandrife i anjombam-panjakay; niambesatse amy fiambesam-panjakay amy anjombam-panjakay i mpanjakay, tandrife ty fizilihañe amy anjombay.
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on [her] royal [apparel], and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
2 Aa ie niisa’ i mpanjakay te nijohañe an-kiririsa ao t’i Estere, mpanjaka-ampela, le nanjo fañisohañe am-pihaino’e; vaho nahiti’ i mpanjakay ama’e i kobaim-bolamena am-pità’ey, Aa le nañarine aze t’i Estere nitsapa ty loha’ i kobaiñey.
And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, [that] she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that [was] in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
3 Le nanoa’ i mpanjakay ty hoe: Ino ty ama’o ry Estere, mpanjaka-ampela? fa ndra inoñ’ ino ty ihalalia’o pak’ an-tsasa i fifeheakoy, le hatoloko.
And the king said, What will you, Esther? and what is your request? [ask] even to the half of my kingdom, and it shall be yours.
4 Le hoe t’i Estere: Naho atao’ i mpanjakay te soa, le ehe te homb’ an-takataka hinalankako ho aze i mpanjakay naho i Hamane te anito.
And Esther said, To-day is my great day: if then it seem good to the king, let both him and Aman come to the feast which I will prepare this day.
5 Aa le hoe i mpanjakay, Taentaeno t’i Hamane, hahahenefañe i saontsi’ i Esterey. Aa le nimb’ amy takataka nihajarie’ i Esterey i mpanjakay naho i Hamane.
And the king said, Hasten Aman hither, that we may perform the word of Esther. So they both come to the feast of which Esther had spoken.
6 Le hoe i mpanjakay amy Estere ami’ty fanjotsoañe divay, Ndra inoñe ty ihalalia’o, le hatolotse azo; ndra ino ty hàta’o, ampara’ ty vakim-pifeheako, le hanoeñe.
And at the banquet the king said to Esther, What is [your request], queen Esther? [speak], and you shall have all that you require.
7 Le hoe ty natoi’ i Estere: Ty irieko naho ty halaliko—
And she said, My request and my petition [are]:
8 naho nanjo fañisohañe am-pahaisaha’ i mpanjakay, lehe no’ i mpanjakay ty hanolotse i hatakoy, hanao i halalikoy—le ehe te hiheo mb’ an-tsabadidake hanoeko ho a iareo i mpanjakay naho i Hamane fa hanoeko hamaray i nisaontsiam-panjakay.
if I have found favor in the sight of the king, let the king and Aman come again to-morrow to the feast which I shall prepare for them, and to-morrow I will do the same.
9 Niavotse an-kafaleañe naho finembanembañan-troke t’i Hamane amy àndro zay, fa ie niisa’e t’i Mordekay an-dalambei’ i mpanjakay, ie tsy niongake, tsy nititititike, le nilifo-piforoforoañe amy Mordekay.
So Aman went out from the king very glad [and] merry: but when Aman saw Mardochaeus the Jew in the court, he was greatly enraged.
10 Fe nilie-batañe t’i Hamane, nimpoly mb’añanjomba’e añe vaho nampañitrife’e o rañe’eo naho i Zerese vali’e;
And having gone into his own house, he called his friends, and his wife Zosara.
11 naho nisengea’ i Hamane ty enge’ o vara’eo, ty hatsifotofoto’ o ana’eo naho ty nampañonjone’ i mpanjakay ama’e iaby vaho ty nampiongaha’e ambone’ o roandria naho mpitoro’ i mpanjakaio.
And he showed them his wealth, and the glory with which the king had invested him, and how he had caused him to take precedence and bear chief rule in the kingdom.
12 Le natovo’ i Hamane ty hoe: Eka, tsy eo ty napò’ i Estere hitrao-pimoak’ amy mpanjakay mb’ amy takataka hinalanka’ey naho tsy izaho; vaho nambarà’e ka ho ami’ty maray mindre amy mpanjakay.
And Aman said, The queen has called no one to the feast with the king but me, and I am invited to-morrow.
13 Fe tsy mahaeneñe ahy i hoe zay iabiy naho mbe treako mitozòke an-dalambeim-panjaka eo t’i Mordekay nte-Iehoda.
But these things please me not, while I see Mardochaeus the Jew in the court.
14 Aa le hoe t’i Zerese tañanjomba’e naho o rañe’e iabio ama’e: Ampitroareñe rafi-piradoradoañe, limampolo kiho ty haabo’e; aa ie maraindray, misaontsia amy mpanjakay te haradorado ama’e t’i Mordekay; vaho mihovà an-kazavan’ arofo mindre amy mpanjakay mb’an-takataka mb’eo. Ninò’ i Hamane i hoe zay, le nampandrafete’e i fampiradoradoañey.
And Zosara his wife and his friends said to him, Let there be a gallows made for you of fifty cubits, and in the morning do you speak to the king, and let Mardochaeus be hanged on the gallows: but do you go in to the feast with the king, and be merry. And the saying pleased Aman, and the gallows was prepared.
