Efesiana 5
1 Aa le mitsikombea an’ Andrianañahare hoe anakisoke;
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
2 naho mañaveloa am-pikokoañe, hambañe amy fikokoa’ Iesoà antikañey, ie namoea’e aiñe ho enga naho soroñe mandrifondrifoñe aman’ Añahare.
Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
3 Le asoao tsy ho toñoneñe ama’ areo ze atao fiolorañe tsy mañeva; naho ze haleorañe ndra fihañañe, amy t’ie tsy mañeva o noro’eo;
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned amongst you, as becomes holy ones;
4 apoho ka ze timbo, naho hakanìfoke naho sole maràñe, fa fonga tsy mete; vaho mañandriàña.
nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
5 Mahafohina an-katò te tsy aman-anjara amy fifehea’ i Norizañey naho aman’ Añahare ty mpiolotse ami’ty tsy evà’e naho ty mpanao haloloañe, vaho ty mihàñe (ie fiatoañe am-bara).
Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Messiah and God.
6 Ko mete fañahieñe an-tsaontsy kòake; ie mikaike ty haviñeran’ Añahare amo anam-panjeharañeo.
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
7 Le ko ireketañe.
Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
11 Ko mitrao-baoñe amo satan-kaieñe tsy vokatseo, fa aboaho ambatraike,
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
12 toe manalatse, tsy talilieñe o anoe’ iereo añ’etakeo.
For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
13 Malange ze he’e aborake an-kazavàñe eo, naho toe mazava ze nampidodeañe;
But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
14 zay ty nampisaontsie’e ty hoe: Mivañona ry mirotseo, mitroara an-kavilasy, hitsavavàha’ i Norizañey.
Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”
15 Itaò arè ty fañaveloa’ areo tsy hanahake o tsy aman-kilalao, fe tsikombeo o mahihitseo,
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,

redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Aa le ko misare gege, fa arendreho ze satri’ i Talè.
Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 Ko manao jike an-divay ie minday haloloañe; fa mihalifora amy Arofoy,
Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 mifampisaontsia an-jejo naho sabo, naho an-takasy miavake, bekò naho titihò añ’arofo ao t’i Talè,
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 kila raha ro andriañeñe nainai’e aman’ Añahare Rae, amy tahina’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañeiy,
giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to God, even the Father;
21 vaho mifampiambanea am-pañeveñañe i Norizañey.
subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Messiah.
22 O roakembao, miandalia amo vali’ areoo, hoe amy Talè.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 Toe lohà’ i vali’ey ty lahilahy, hambañe ami’ty maha lohà’ i Fivoriy i Norizañe mpandrombak’ i Fañòvaiy.
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Messiah also is the head of the assembly, being himself the saviour of the body.
24 Aa le hambañe ami’ty fiambanea’ o Fivorio amy Norizañey, ty rakemba amy vali’ey amy ze he’e.
But as the assembly is subject to Messiah, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
25 O ry lahilahio, kokò ty vali’ areo, hambañe ami’ty nikokoa’ i Norizañey i Fivoriy naho namoea’e aiñe,
Husbands, love your wives, even as Messiah also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
26 ie navahe’e naho nikotriñe’e amy fampandroañe rano añamy tsaray,
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
27 hampiatrefa’e ho Fivory lifots’ engeñe, tsy amam-pepo ndra komake ndra loli’e hoe izay, f’ie hiavake tsy aman-kila.
that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.
28 Ehe mikokoa valy manahake ty vata’o ry lahilahio; mikoko vatañe ty mikoko valy.
Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
29 Toe tsy eo ty malaim-batañe, fa fahana’e naho beize’e hambañe amy Norizañey o Fivorio,
For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
30 amy t’ie mpitraok’ am-pañova’e ao:
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
31 Izay ty isitaha’ ondaty aman-drae’e naho rene hipiteke ami’ty vali’e, vaho ho fañova raike i roroey.
“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
32 Tafatoño jabajaba izay, fa i Norizañey naho i Fivoriy ro ivolañako.
This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly.
33 F’ie, sindre mikokoa tañanjomba manahake ty vata’e, vaho miasia valy ry rakembao.
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
