1 Iretoañe o tsara nilañona’ i Mosè am’ Israele iaby alafe’ Iardeney, am-patrambey ao, an-tane mira tandrife i Sofe añivo’ i Parane naho i Tòfele naho i Labane naho i Katseròte vaho i Dizahabe.
These [are] the words which he spoke Moses to all Israel on [the] other side of the Jordan in the wilderness in the desert plain opposite to Suph between Paran and between Tophel and Laban and Hazeroth and Di Zahab.
2 (Mahamodo andro folo-raik’ amby ty lia mb’e Kadàse-Barnèa mb’eo t’ie miary mb’e Vohi-Seire añe.)
[is] one [plus] Ten day[s] from Horeb [the] way of [the] mountain of Seir to Kadesh Barnea.
3 Aa ie tamy taom-paha efa-poloy, ami’ty vola’e faha-folo-raik’amby, ami’ty andro valoha’ i volañey le ninday lañonañe amo ana’ Israeleo t’i Mosè, amy nampisaontsie’ Iehovày aze;
And it was in forty year in [the] one [plus] ten month on [day] one of the month he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel according to all that he had commanded Yahweh him to them.
4 naho fa zinevo’e t’i Sihone mpanjaka’ o nte-Amore nimoneñe e Khesboneo, naho i Oge mpanjaka’ i Basane nimoneñe e Astaròte e Ederèy ao;
After had defeated he Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon and Og [the] king of Bashan who [was] dwelling in Ashtaroth in Edrei.

On [the] other side of the Jordan in [the] land of Moab he undertook Moses he made clear the law this saying.

Yahweh God our he spoke to us at Horeb saying [is] enough for you remaining at the mountain this.
7 mitoliha naho tonjohizo ty lia’ areo, le mionjona mb’am-bohi’ o nte Amoreo mb’eo; naho mb’an-tane mañohoke aze iaby mb’ an-tane-mira ey naho mb’amo vohibohitseo naho mb’am-bavatane ao naho mb’ atimo añe naho mb’ añolon-driake mb’eo pak’ an-tane’ i nte-Kanàney naho pake Lebanone añe vaho migadoña amy oñe ra’elahiy, i oñe Peràtey.
Turn - and set out for yourselves and go [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] and to all neighbors its in the desert plain in the hill country and in the Shephelah and in the Negev and on [the] coast of the sea [the] land of the Canaanite[s] and Lebanon to the river great [the] river of Euphrates.
8 Ingo, fa nalahako añatrefa’ areo o taneo; akia rambeso ho anahareo i tane nifañinà’ Iehovà aman-droae’ areoy: amy Avrahame naho am’ Ietsake vaho am’ Iakobe, t’ie hatolots’ am’ iareo naho o tarira’ iareo hanonjohio.
See I set before you the land go and take possession of the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob to give to them and to offspring their after them.

And I said to you at the time that saying not I am able to alone me to bear you.
10 fa nampanaranàhe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo ho mira ami’ty ia’ o vasian-dikerañeo androany.
Yahweh God your he has increased you and here you this day [are] like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude.
11 Le ee te hampitomboe’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’ areo añ’ arivo ty ia’ areo vaho hitahy anahareo amy nampitamae’ey.
Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your may he add to you like you a thousand times and may he bless you just as he spoke to you.
12 Fa aia ty hahavaveako, t’ie raike, ty fañangara’ areo naho ty fampioremeña’ areo vaho ty fampihohokohofa’ areo ahiko.
How? will I bear to alone me burden your and burden your and dispute[s] your.
13 Tendreo o mahilala’ areoo, o mahihi­tseo naho o maharofoanañe amo rofoko’ areoo le hanoeko mpifehe’ areo.
Provide for yourselves men wise and understanding and known to tribes your so I may appoint them chiefs your.
14 Le natoi’ areo ty hoe, Mete i nisaon­tsia’o hanoeñey.
And you answered me and you said [is] good the word which you have spoken to do.
15 Aa le rinambeko o mpiaolo’ o fifokoa’ areoo, o mahihitse naho mahilalao naho najadoko ho talè’ areo ho mpifelek’ arivo, naho mpifeleke zato, naho mpifeleke limampolo, naho mpifeleke folo, vaho ho mpitoronjo, ki-foko, ki-foko.
And I took [the] chiefs of tribes your men wise and known and I appointed them chiefs over you leaders of thousands and leaders of hundreds and leaders of fifties and leaders of tens and officials of tribes your.
16 Le nafantoko amo mpizaka’ areoo amy andro zay, ty hoe: Mijanjiña añivo’ o rolongo’ areoo vaho mizakà an-katò añivo’ ze ondaty naho ty rahalahi’e ndra ze renetane ama’e.
And I commanded judges your at the time that saying hear between countrymen your and you will judge righteousness between anyone and between countryman his and between sojourner his.
17 Ko mirihy an-jaka; fe janjiño ty kede naho ty bey; ko hembañe ami’ty lahara’ ondaty, fa an’Andrianañahare ty zaka, le ze tsy lefe’ areo ro hasese amako ho tsanoñeko.
Not you will pay regard to faces in judgment as the small as the great you will listen! not you will be afraid of anyone for the judgment [belongs] to God it and the matter which it will be [too] hard for you you will bring near! to me and I will hear it.
18 Aa le nililieko henane zay ze hene raha hanoe’ areo.
And I commanded you at the time that all the things which you will do!
19 Aa ie nienga i Korebe tika, le niranga i fatrañe jabajaba mahareven­dreveñe nioni’ areo am-piariañe ty vohi’ o nte-Amoreoy, amy nandilia’ Iehovà Andrianañaharentikañey; le nivotrake e Kadese-Barneà eo,
And we set out from Horeb and we walked all the wilderness great and awesome that which you saw [the] way of [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] just as he had commanded Yahweh God our us and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
20 vaho hoe ty nanoeko: ie fa nandoak’ am-bohi’ o nte-Amoreo, i hatolo’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika aman-tikañey.
And I said to you you have come to [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.
21 Ingo fa napo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o añatrefa’o eo o taneo: aa le mionjona mb’eo naho rambeso ami’ty nitsara’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’o, ko hembañe vaho ko mitsolofìñe.
See he sets Yahweh God your before you the land go up take possession of [it] just as he spoke Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your to you may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed.
22 Aa le songa niharine amako nanao ty hoe: hamantoke ondaty hiaolo antika mb’eo zahay hitsikarake i taney vaho hinday saontsy amantika ami’ty lalañe hionjonan-tika mb’eo naho o rova higaoñan-tikañeo.
And you drew near! to me all of you and you said let us send out men before us so they may spy out for us the land so they may bring back us word the way which we will go up on it and the cities which we will go to them.
23 Toe ninòko i saontsy zay, vaho rinambeko t’indaty folo-ro’ amby, songa raike ami’ty fifokoañe;
And it was good in view my the thing and I took from you two [plus] ten men a man one to the tribe.
24 le nitolike iereo nionjoñe mb’am-bohibohitse mb’eo naho nandoak’ am-bavatane Eskole vaho nitsoetsoek’ ao.
And they turned and they went up the hill country towards and they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they spied out it.
25 Nandrambesa’ iareo am-pitàñe ty voka’ i taney le nendese’ iareo nizotso mb’ aman-tikañe atoy, vaho ninday saontsy aman-tika nanao ty hoe: Soa i tane natolo’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika aman-tikañey.
And they took in hand their some of [the] fruit of the land and they brought [it] down to us and they brought back us word and they said [is] good the land which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.
26 F’ie amy zay, tsy ni-mete nionjom-beo nahareo te mone niola ami’ty nandilia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo,
And not you were willing to go up and you rebelled toward [the] mouth of Yahweh God your.
27 vaho niñeoñeoñe an-kiboho’ areo ao ami’ty hoe: ty falai’ Iehovà antika ty nañakara’e antika an-tane Mitsraime hanesea’e am-pità’ o nte-Amoreo harotsake.
And you murmured in tents your and you said in [the] hatred of Yahweh us he brought out us from [the] land of Egypt to give us in [the] hand of the Amorite[s] to destroy us.
28 Aia ty hionjonan-tika? Nahamohake ty arofo’ay ty enta’ o longontikañeo nanao ty hoe, Ra’elahy naho abo te amantika ondatio naho jabajaba o rova’ iareo reketse kijoly mitiotiotse mb’andikerañ’ eio vaho niisa’ay ao o ana’ i Anàkeo.
Where? - [are] we going up countrymen our they have made melt heart our saying [the] people [is] great and lofty more than us [the] cities [are] large and fortified in the heavens and also [the] descendants of [the] Anakites we saw there.
29 Aa le nanoeko ty hoe, Ko irevendreveñañe, ko ihembañañe.
And I said to you not you must be terrified! and not you must be afraid! from them.
30 Iehovà Andrianañahare Mpiaolo ro hialy ho anahareo hambañe amy nanoe’e e Mitsraime añe aolom-pihaino’ areoy;
Yahweh God your [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will fight for you according to all that he did with you in Egypt to eyes your.
31 naho tam-patrambey añe; fa niisa’ areo ty fiotroña’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo, manahake ty fiotroña’ ondaty i ana-dahi’ey, amo lia’ areo iabio ampara’ te nivotrak’ an-tane atoy.
And in the wilderness where you saw that he carried you Yahweh God your just as he carries anyone child his on all the journey which you walked until came you to the place this.
32 F’ie amy zay, tsy natokisa’ areo t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo,
And in the thing this not you [were] trusting in Yahweh God your.
33 i Mpiaolo am-pañaveloañey nipay ze hañoreña’ areo o kibohotseo, ie añ’afo ao te haleñe hanoroa’e ty lalan-kombà’ areo vaho an-drahoñe ao te handro.
Who went before you on the journey to seek out for you a place to camp you in the fire - night to show you the way which you will go on it and in the cloud by day.
34 Ie jinanji’ Iehovà i feon’ enta’ areo zay, le niviñetse vaho nifanta ty hoe:
And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your and he was angry and he swore an oath saying.
35 Leo raik’ amo retoañe—o tariratse raty reo—tsy hahaisake i tane soa nifañinàko hatolotse aman-droae’ areoy,
If he will see anyone among the men these the generation evil this the land good which I swore to give to ancestors your.
36 naho tsy i Kalèbe ana’ Iefonè. Ie ty hahaisake, le hatoloko aze naho amo tarira’eo i tane niliàm-pandia’ey ami’ty fañoriha’e fatratse Iehovà.
Except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh he he will see it and to him I will give the land which he has trodden on it and to sons his because that he filled after Yahweh.
37 Izaho ka niviñera’ Iehovà ty ama’ areo amy tsara’ey, ty hoe: Tsy himoak’ ao ka irehe.
Also with me he was angry Yahweh on account of you saying also you not you will go there.
38 I Iehosoa ana’ i None, mpitoro’oy, ty himoak’ ao; osiho amy t’ie ty hampandova Israele aze.
Joshua ([the] son of *L(abh)*) Nun who stands before you he he will go there towards him encourage for he he will give as an inheritance it Israel.
39 Le o keleia’ areoo, o natao’ areo ho nikopaheñeo, o ana’ areoo; i mboe tsy nahilala ty soa naho ty raty henane zay rey ty himoak’ ao; le hatoloko iareo vaho ho rambese’ iareo ho fanañañe.
And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and children your who not they know this day good and evil they they will go there towards and to them I will give it and they they will take possession of it.
40 F’ina­hareo ka, mito­liha naho mionjona mb’am-patrambey miary amy ­Ria-Binday mb’eo.

41 Nanoiñ’ ahy ami’ty hoe nahareo, Toe anaña’ Iehovà hakeo! Veka’e hionjoñe hialy zahay ami’ty nandilia’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika. Aa le songa nidiam-pialiañe ondatio fa natao’e ho mora ty hionjoñe mb’am-bohibohitse mb’eo.
And you answered - and you said to me we have sinned to Yahweh we we will go up and we will fight according to all that he has commanded us Yahweh God our and you girded on everyone [the] weapons of war his and you regarded as easy to go up the hill country towards.
42 Le hoe t’Iehovà amako, Isaon­tsio ty hoe: Ko mionjom’ beo vaho ko mialy, amy te tsy añivo’ areo ao iraho tsy mone ho rotsak’ aolo’ o rafelahi’ areoo.
And he said Yahweh to me say to them not you must go up and not you must fight for not I [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.
43 Fe ndra te nivolañeko, tsy nihaoñe’ areo. Niola amy nandilia’ Iehovày, an-tsatrin-troke ty nionjona’ areo mb’ am-bohibohitse mb’eo.
And I spoke to you and not you listened and you rebelled against [the] mouth of Yahweh and you acted presumptuously and you went up the hill country towards.
44 Niavotse, niatrek’ anahareo amy zao o nte-Amore mpimoneñe am-bohitseo vaho niho­ridañe’e hoe rene tantele. Rinotsa’ iareo am-pibara e Seire pake Kormà añe.
And he came out the Amorite[s] who was dwelling in the hill country that to meet you and they pursued you just as they do bees and they scattered you in Seir to Hormah.
45 Aa le nibalike naho nirovetse añatrefa’ Iehovà, fe tsy hinao’ Iehovà ty fiarañanaña’ areo, tsy nanokilaña’e ravembia.
And you returned and you wept before Yahweh and not he listened Yahweh to voice your and not he gave ear to you.
46 Aa le nitobe e Kadese ao ela ty amo andro nitoboha’ areoo.
And you remained at Kadesh days many like the days which you remained.
