1 Niañambone ty vohi-Nìbo amy zao t’i Mosè, boak’ an-tanemira’ i Moabe pak’ antiotio’ i Pisgà, tandrife Ieriko; vaho natoro’ Iehovà aze i hene taney—boake Gilade pake Dane;
Therefore, Moses ascended from the plains of Moab onto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, opposite Jericho. And the Lord revealed to him the entire land of Gilead, as far as Dan,
2 le i Naftalý iaby, naho ty tane’ i Efraime, naho ty a i Menasè, naho ze hene tane’ Iehoda pak’ amy riak’ ahandrefañey
and all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and the entire land of Judah, even to the furthest sea,
3 naho i Atimoy, naho ty tane pisak’ am-bavatane’ Ieriko ey, i rovan-tsatrañey pake Tsoare.
and the southern region, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho, the city of palms, as far as Zoar.
4 Le hoe t’Iehovà ama’e, Ingo ty tane nifantàko amy Avrahame naho am’ Ietsàke naho am’ Iakobe ami’ty hoe, Hatoloko amo tarira’oo; nampahaisahako azo am-pihaino’o f’ie tsy hitsake mb’eo.
And the Lord said to him: “This is the land, about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your offspring. You have seen it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over to it.”
5 Aa le nihomak’ an-tane Moabe eo t’i Mosè, mpitoro’ Iehovà ami’ty tsara’ Iehovà;
And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died in that place, in the land of Moab, by order of the Lord.
6 vaho nalente’e am-bavatane an-tane’ i Moabe tandrife i Bet’peore ao, fe tsy fohi’ ondaty pake henane i kibori’ey.
And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab, opposite Peor. And no man knows where his sepulcher is, even to the present day.
7 Zato-tsi-roapolo-taoñe t’i Mosè te nihorogodoboke, tsy nirombitse o fihaino’eo, vaho tsy niketrake ty haozara’e.
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dimmed, nor were his teeth displaced.
8 Nandala aze telo-polo andro an-tanemira’ i Moabe eo o ana’ Israeleo, am’ para’ te niritse o andro firovetañe naho fandalàñeo.
And the sons of Israel wept for him in the plains of Moab for thirty days. And then the days of their wailing, during which they mourned Moses, were completed.
9 Nilifotse ty arofon-kihitse t’Iehosoa ana’ i None; ami’ty nanampeza’ i Mosè fitàñe, le nitsendreñe aze o ana’ Israeleo, vaho nanoe’ iareo ze nandilia’ Iehovà i Mosè.
Truly, Joshua, the son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the sons of Israel were obedient to him, and they did as the Lord instructed Moses.
10 Ampara’ izay tsy teo ty mpitoky nitroatse e Israele ao nañirinkiriñe i Mosè, ie niarofoana’ Iehovà am-piatrefan-daharañe,
And no other prophet rose up in Israel like Moses, one whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 amo hene viloñe naho raha tsitantane nañiraha’ Iehovà aze hanoe’e an-tane Mitsraime ao amy Paro naho amo mpitoro’e iabio vaho amy hene tane’ey;
one with all the signs and wonders, which he sent through him, to perform in the land of Egypt, against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land,
12 am-pitàñe ra’elahy an-kaozarañe naho amy fampangetraketrahañe folo’ay naboa’ i Mosè am-pahaisaha’ o ana’ Israele iabioy.
nor one with such a powerful hand and such great miracles as Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
