Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.
2 Le amy andro itsaha’ areo Iardeney mb’an-tane atolo’ Iehovà An­dria­nañahare’o azo, ty hañoreña’o vato jabajaba ho patrora’o sokay.
And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.
3 Aa ihe fa nitsake le sokiro ama’e o enta’ ty Hake toio, himoaha’o i tane atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azo, tane orikorihen-dronono naho tantele; i nitsara’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’oy.
Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4 Le ihe nitsake Iardeney ro hampitroatse i vato liniliko azo anindroany, am-bohi’ i Ebale eiy vaho ho patrora’o sokay.
And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.
5 Le ranjio eo ty kitrely ho a Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, kitreli-vato; le tsy haonjo’o ama’e ty viñe.
Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.
6 Hitsenea’o vato boko’e tsy nivàñeñe i kitreli’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’oy vaho hengae’o ama’e ty soroñe am’ Iehovà Andria­na­ñahare’o.
You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
7 Le hañenga soron-kanintsiñe naho hikama naho hirebek’ añatrefa’ Iehovà An­dria­nañahare’o;
There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
8 vaho ho sokire’o amy vato rezay am-bakabaka ze hene enta’ ty Hake toy.
And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
9 Le hoe ty lañona’ i Mosè naho o nte-Levy mpisoroñeo am’ Israele iaby: Mianjiña naho mijanjiña ry Israele, androany t’ie fa ondati’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o.
Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.
10 Aa le oriho ty fiarañanaña’ Iehovà Andria­nañahare’o, vaho ano o lili’eo naho o fañè’e lilieko azo androanio.
You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”
11 Le hoe ka ty namantoha’ i Mosè ondatio amy àndroy:
On that day Moses commanded the people:
12 Hitroatse ambone’ ty vohi-Gerizime iretoañe hitata ondatio naho fa nitsake Iardeney: i Simone, i Levy, Iehodà, Isakhare, Iosefe, vaho i Beniamine.
“When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 Le hitroatse ambone’ i vohi-Ebaley ka retoañe, hañozoñe; i Reòbene, i Gade, i Asere, i Zebolone, i Dane vaho i Naftalý.
And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14 Le hipazak’ am’ ondati’ Israele iabio o nte-Levio ami’ty hoe:
Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:
15 Afàtse ze ondaty mandranjy saren-drahare tiva am’ Iehovà an-tsokitse ndra am-pitranahañe, an-tsatam-pità-mahimbañe mampitroatse aze an-kàfitse ao. Le ty hoe ty hatoi’ ondaty iabio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’

‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’
17 Afàtse ze mameve vorovoro’ondaty. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’
18 Afàtse ty mampiolake ty goa amy lia’ey. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’
19 Afàtse ty mañola-jaka amy renetaney naho amy bode-raey vaho amy vantotsey. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’
20 Afàtse ty mifandiatihy ami’ty valin-drae’e; ie mañafake ty kitamben-drae’e. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’
21 Afàtse ze misahe ndra biby inoñ’ inoñe. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’
22 Afàtse ze miolotse ami’ty rahavave’e, ke anan-drae’e he anan-drene’e. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’
23 Afàtse ze mitrao sarimbo ami’ty rafoza-ampela’e. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’
24 Afàtse ze mitombo-tambioñe aman-drañe’e. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’
25 Afàtse ze mandrambe vokañe hanjevoñe ty vañoñe. Le hene hanao ty hoe ondatio: Ie izay.
‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’
26 Afàtse ze tsy miantoke o hene enta’ ty Hake toio hañorik’ aze. Le hanao ty hoe iaby ondatio: Ie izay
‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’
