< Deotoronomia 12 >
1 Inao o fañè naho fepètse tsy mahay tsy hambena’areo soa an-tane atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’o azo ho lova’o amy ze hene andro hiveloma’ areo an-tane atoy.
These are the statutes and ordinances you must be careful to follow all the days you live in the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess.
2 Fonga ho rotsahe’ areo ze toe-pitoroña’ o rofoko ho tavane’ areoo, ze ndrahare’ iareo andengo’ o vohitse aboo, naho ankaboa’ o vohibohitseo vaho añ’alo’ ze hene hatae leñe.
Destroy completely all the places where the nations you are dispossessing have served their gods—atop the high mountains, on the hills, and under every green tree.
3 Ho fongore’ areo o kitreli’eo le ho pozahe’ areo o hazomanga’eo, le ho forototoe’ areo an’ afo o Aserimeo, le ho hatsafe’ areo o saresaren-drahare’eo vaho ho faohe’ areo amy toetsey ty añara’ iareo.
Tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, burn up their Asherah poles, cut down the idols of their gods, and wipe out their names from every place.
4 F’ie tsy hanoe’ areo am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo,
You shall not worship the LORD your God in this way.
5 fa amy ze toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo amo fifokoa’ areo iabio, hampipoha’e ty tahina’e ho akiba’e, le izay ty hipaia’ areo aze, vaho eo ty hiheova’o.
Instead, you must seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to establish as a dwelling for His Name, and there you must go.
6 Eo ty hindesa’ areo o hisoroña’ areoo, naho o banabanà’ areoo, naho o engam-paha-folo’ areoo, naho o engaem-pità’ areoo, naho o nifantà’ areoo naho o enga satrin’ arofo’ areoo vaho ty valohan’ ana’ o añombe’ areoo naho o lia-rai’ areoo.
To that place you are to bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and heave offerings, your vow offerings and freewill offerings, as well as the firstborn of your herds and flocks.
7 Eo ka ty hikamà’ areo naho o keleia’ areoo, añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo, le hirebek’ amo hene tolom-pità’ areo nitahia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azoo.
There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your households shall eat and rejoice in all you do, because the LORD your God has blessed you.
8 Tsy hanoe’ areo ka o satan-tika henaneo, t’ie songa manao ze to am-pihaino’e avao,
You are not to do as we are doing here today, where everyone does what seems right in his own eyes.
9 amy te mboe tsy niheova’ areo i fitofàñe naho lova atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo azoy.
For you have not yet come to the resting place and the inheritance that the LORD your God is giving you.
10 Ie itsaha’ areo Iardene himoneñe amy tane atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo anahareo ho lovay, le ie ampitofà’e amo rafelahy miariseho iabio vaho imoneña’areo am-panintsiñañe;
When you cross the Jordan and live in the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and He gives you rest from all the enemies around you and you dwell securely,
11 le eo ty toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo hampimoneña’e ty tahina’e, eo ty hanesea’ areo ze handiliako anahareo; le o hisoroñañeo, naho o banabana’ areoo naho o faha-folom-bara’ areoo naho o engaem-pità’ areoo, naho ze hene engam-panta nifantà’ areo am’ Iehovà.
then the LORD your God will choose a dwelling for His Name. And there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice offerings you vow to the LORD.
12 Le hirebeke añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo nahareo, ie naho o anadahi’ areoo naho o anak’ ampela’ areoo naho ondevo lahy naho ampela’ areoo naho i nte-Levy am-po-kijoli’ areoy, ie tsy aman’ anjara ndra lova ama’ areo.
And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levite within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance among you.
13 Mitomira tsy hañenga soroñe amy ze toetse isa’o añe,
Be careful not to offer your burnt offerings in just any place you see;
14 te mone amy toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovà amo fifokoa’ooy, ao ty hañenga’o o fisoroña’oo, le eo ty hanoa’o ze hene lilieko.
you must offer them only in the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribal territories, and there you shall do all that I command you.
15 Ie amy izay mahazo mandenta naho mikama ze biby amy ze hene lalam-bei’o ao irehe, ze paia’ ty tro’o amo fitahiañe natolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azoo, ie sambe ho kamae’ ty malio naho ty tsy malio, manahake t’ie tsebý ndra aiale.
But whenever you want, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, according to the blessing the LORD your God has given you. Both the ceremonially clean and unclean may eat it as they would a gazelle or deer,
16 Fe tsy ho kamae’o ty lio’e; fa hadoa’o an-tane hoe rano.
but you must not eat the blood; pour it on the ground like water.
17 Tsy ho kamae’o an-dalam-bei’o eo ka ze fahafolo’ ty ampemba’o ndra ty divai’o ndra ty mena’o ndra ty valohan’ ana’ ty mpirai-tro’o ndra ty mpirai-lia’o, ndra ze engam-panta nifantà’o, ndra ze enga satrin’ arofo’o, ndra ze engaem-pità’o.
Within your gates you must not eat the tithe of your grain or new wine or oil, the firstborn of your herds or flocks, any of the offerings that you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts.
18 F’ie ho kamae’o añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o amy toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’oy, ihe naho ty ana-dahy naho anak’ ampela’o naho ty ondevo-lahy naho ampela’o naho i nte-Levy an-tanà’oy; vaho hirebek’ añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o irehe amy ze hene tolom-pità’o.
Instead, you must eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God will choose—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levite within your gates. Rejoice before the LORD your God in all you do,
19 Mitomira tsy haforintse’o i nte-Leviy, te ihe mbe veloñe an-tane atoy.
and be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
20 Aa ie ampigadagadañe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o ty tane’o amy nitsarà’e ama’oy, le hanao ty hoe irehe: Hihinan-kena iraho, aa kanao hasijim-bata’o, le mete mikama hena irehe, ze hadrao’o iaby.
When the LORD your God expands your territory as He has promised, and you crave meat and say, “I want to eat meat,” you may eat it whenever you want.
21 Aa ie lavitse azo i toetse jinobo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o hampipoha’e i tahina’eiy, le handenta amo mpirai-tro’oo irehe naho amo mpirai-lia’o natolo’ Iehovà azoo amy nandiliako azoy, le hikama an-tanà’o ao ze satrie’ ty tro’o,
If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His Name is too far from you, then you may slaughter any of the herd or flock He has given you, as I have commanded you, and you may eat it within your gates whenever you want.
22 manahake ty fikamañe o tsebý naho o aiàleo ty hikama’o aze; le songa mete ikama’ ty malio naho ty tsy malio.
Indeed, you may eat it as you would eat a gazelle or deer; both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it.
23 Fe mifoneña tsy hikama ty lio’e: fa amy lio’ey ty havelo’e, le tsy hatrao’o fikama ami’ty hena i haveloñey.
Only be sure not to eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.
24 Tsy ho kamae’o izay fa hadoa’o an-tane eo hoe rano.
You must not eat the blood; pour it on the ground like water.
25 Tsy hikama’o, soa te ho tahie’e irehe naho o ana’o manonjohy azoo ie manao ty fahiti’e am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà.
Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD.
26 Fe o raha ama’o mete ho navì’oo naho ze nifantà’o ro hendese’o mb’amy toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovày mb’eo.
But you are to take your holy things and your vow offerings and go to the place the LORD will choose.
27 Le hengae’o i hisoroña’oy, ty hena’e naho ty lio’e, amy kitreli’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’oy, le hadoa’o amy kitreli’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’oy ty lion’ enga’o vaho ho kamae’o ty hena’e.
Present the meat and blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God. The blood of your other sacrifices must be poured out beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat.
28 Ambeno naho janjiño o tsara iaby lilieko azoo, soa t’ie hiraorao naho o ana’o handimbe azo kitro añ’afe’eo; ano ty soa naho ty hiti’e am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o.
Be careful to obey all these things I command you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
29 Aa ie aitoa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o aolo’o o fifeheañe handenà’o ho tavane’oo naho limbeza’o vaho fa mimoneñ’ an-tane’ iareo ao,
When the LORD your God cuts off before you the nations you are entering to dispossess, and you drive them out and live in their land,
30 le mitaoa tsy ho tra-pandrike ami’ty fitsikombea’o iareo, ie mongoreñe aolo’o eo, le ko añontanea’o o ndrahare’ iareoo ami’ty hoe, Aa vaho akore ty fitoroña’ ondaty retìa o ndrahare’ iareoo? hanoeko ka.
be careful not to be ensnared by their ways after they have been destroyed before you. Do not inquire about their gods, asking, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
31 Ko manao izay am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, amy te ze atao hativàñe am’ Iehovà, o raha vata’e heje’eo le fonga nanoe’ iereo amo ndrahare’ iareoo mbore sinodo’ iareo añ’afo ao amo ndrahare’eo o ana-dahi’eo naho o anak’ampela’eo.
You must not worship the LORD your God in this way, because they practice for their gods every abomination which the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.
32 Aa le ambeno naho oriho ze hene andiliako anahareo: ko anovoña’o vaho ko añafaha’o.
See that you do everything I command you; do not add to it or subtract from it.
