1 Hoe t’Iehovà amako henane zay: Amatsiho vato roe manahake i teo rey, le miañambonea mb’amako mb’am-bohitse atoy, vaho andranjio vata hatae.
At that time the Lord said unto me, Hew for thyself two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount; and make thyself an ark of wood.
2 Ho sokireko amy ravem-bato rey i tsara tan-drave’e roe rey, i dinemo’o rey, le agodoño amy vatay ao.
And I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which thou hast broken; and thou shalt put them in the ark.
3 Aa le nitsenèko vata ami’ty mendoraveñe naho namatsihako vato roe hambañe amy teo rey, vaho niañambone’ i vohitsey iraho nañotrotro i vato roe rey an-tañako.
And I made an ark of shittim-wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and I went up into the mount, with the two tables in my hand.
4 Le sinoki’e amy vato rey hambañe amy tsara sinokitse taoloy, i tsara folo nitseize’ Iehovà ama’ areo boak’ añ’afo ao amy andro’ i fivoriy rey; vaho natolo’ Iehovà ahiko.
And he wrote on the tables, like the first writing, the ten commandments, which the Lord had spoken unto you on the mount out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them unto me.
5 Aa le nitolike iraho nizotso amy vohitsey, vaho najoko amy vata rinanjikoy i rave’e rey; ao iereo henaneo, amy nandilia’ Iehovà amakoy.
And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and I put the tables in the ark which I had made; and they have remained there, as the Lord hath commanded me.
6 (Nañavelo hirik’e Birote-bene-iaakane pak’e Moserà o ana’Israeleo, le eo ty nihomaha’ i Aharone, vaho ao ty nandentehañe aze; nandimbe aze ho mpisoroñe t’i Elazare ana’e.
And the children of Israel took their journey from the wells of the children of Ya'akan to Mosserah: there Aaron died, and he was buried there; and Elazar his son became priest in his stead.
7 Boak’ ao nañavelo mb’e Godgodà mb’eo iereo, le hirik’e Godgoda mb’e Iotbatà, tane fikararahan-torahañe.)
From there they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Yotbatha, a land of brooks of waters.
8 Tamy andro zay le navahe’ Iehovà ty fifokoa’ i Levy ho mpitarazo i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày naho hijohañe añatrefa’ Iehovà hitoroñe aze vaho hitata ami’ty tahina’e ampara’ henane.
At that time did the Lord separate the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
9 Aa le tsy aman’ anjara ndra lova amo rolongo’eo t’i Levy; Iehovà ro lova’e amy nitsara’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o ama’ey.
Therefore was not assigned unto Levi any portion or inheritance with his brethren: the Lord is his inheritance, as the Lord thy God hath spoken to him.
10 Nitambatse am-bohitse ao efa-polo andro naho efa-polo halen-draho, manahake tam-baloha’ey. Le mbe nijanjiñe ahy amy andro zay ka t’Iehovà, le tsy nisatrie’ Iehovà ty hanjamañe azo.
And I stayed on the mount, like the first days, forty days and forty nights; and the Lord hearkened unto me also at that time, the Lord would not destroy thee.
11 Hoe t’Iehovà amako: Miongaha, akia, mionjona aolo’ ondatio mb’eo, himoaha’ iareo ao, hitavañe i tane natoloko an-droae’ iareo am-pantay.
And the Lord said unto me, Arise, go on the journey before the people, that they may go in and take possession of the land, which I have sworn unto their fathers to give unto them.
12 Ie amy zao ry Israele, inom-bao ty ipaia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o? Naho tsy ty hañeveñe am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, ty hañavelo amo lala’e iabio, ty hikoko aze naho ty hitoroñe Iehovà Andrianañahare’o an-kaampon’ arofo naho an-kaliforam-pañòva,
And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 ty hiambena’o o lili’ Iehovào naho o fañè’e lilieko anito hahasoa azoo.
To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day, for thy own good?
14 Ingo a’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o i likerañey naho o andindin-dikerañeo, naho ty tane toy reketse ze he’e ama’e,
Behold, to the Lord thy God belong the heavens and the heavens of heavens, and the earth with all that is thereon;
15 fe nahafale Iehovà o roae’oo, nikokoa’e naho jinobo’e o tarira’ iareo nifandimbeo: inahareo ‘nio, ambone’ ze kila ondaty; le ie henaneo.
Yet only in thy fathers had the Lord delight, to love them; he chose, therefore, their seed after them, namely you, from all the nations, as it is this day.
16 Savaro arè ty ofon’ arofo’ areo, le ko manjehatse ka.
Remove therefore the obduracy of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17 Amy te Andrianañaharen-drahare naho Talèn-talè t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo; Andrianañahare jabahinake naho maozatse naho mampañeveñe; tsy mpirihy, tsy mandrambe vokàñe;
For the Lord your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who hath no regard to persons, and taketh no bribe;
18 omea’e to ty bode-rae naho ty vantotse, kokoa’e ty renetane, anjotsoa’e mahakama vaho tolora’e sikiñe.
Who executeth justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loveth the stranger, to give him food and raiment.
19 Aa le kokò o ambahinio, amy t’ie nirenetane an-tane Mitsraime ao ka.
Love ye then the stranger; for you have been strangers in the land of Egypt.
20 Mañeveña am’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, ie avao ty italahoa’o naho ie ty vontitire’o vaho amy tahina’ey ty anoa’o fanta.
The Lord thy God shalt thou fear: him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and by his name shalt thou swear.
21 Ie ty fandrengea’o, ie t’i Andrianañahare’o nahafonitse o raha fiaintane naho halatsàñe nanoe’e am-pahaisaham-pihaino’oo.
He is thy praise, and he is thy God, who hath done for thee these great and fearful things, which thy own eyes have seen.
22 Ondaty fitom-polo o roae’o nizotso mb’e Mitsraime mb’eoo, le hehe t’ie nampamorohote’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o hoe o vasian-dikerañeo.
With seventy persons did thy fathers go down into Egypt; and now the Lord thy God hath made thee like the stars of heaven in multitude.
