1 Ie henane zay, hiongake t’i Mikaele, roandriañe ra’elahy mpañolots’ o ana’ ondati’oo, fa ho san-kasotriañe mbe tsy nizò boak’ am-pifotora’ ondatio ampara’ henaneo; fa ho rombaheñe amy sa zay ondati’oo, ze hene oniñe sinokitse amy bokey ao.
And, at that time, will Michael, the great ruler who standeth for the sons of thy people, make a stand, and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, up to that time, —and, at that time, shall thy people, be delivered, every one found written in the book;
2 Maro amo mirotse an-debokeo ty ho vañoneñe, ty ila’e ho mb’an-kaveloñe nainai’e, vaho ty ila’e mb’an-kasalarañe naho falaiñañe tsy modo.
and, many of the sleepers in the dusty ground, shall awake, —these, [shall be] to age-abiding life, but, those, to reproach, and age-abiding abhorrence;
3 Hireandreañe manahake ty hazavà’ i lañelañen-dikerañey o mahilalao; naho hoe o vasiañe nainai’eo o mampitolike ty màro mb’an-kavañonañeo.
and, they who make wise, shall shine like the shining of the expanse, —and, they who bring the many to righteousness, like the stars to times age-abiding and beyond.
4 Aa ihe ka ry Daniele, akafiro i tsaray, naho liteo i bokey ampara’ ty figadoñan’ andro; maro ty hibelobelo an-day vaho hitombo o hilalao.
But, thou, Daniel, close up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end, —many will run to and fro, and knowledge, shall abound.
5 Nañente iraho, Daniele, le indroa ty roe ila’e nijohañe ey, ty raik’ añ’ olo’ i oñey etoa naho ty raik’ añ’ olo’ i oñey eroa.
Then, I, Daniel, looked, and lo! two others, standing, —one on this side of the bank of the river, and one on that side of the bank of the river.
6 Le hoe ty raike amy misikin-deny ambone’ o rano’ i oñeio, Ombia ty ho figadoña’ i raha mahalatsa rey?
And one said to the man clothed with linen, who was upon the waters of the river, How long shall be the end of the wonders?
7 Tsinanoko amy zao indaty nisikin-deny ambone’ o rano’ i oñeio eiy, ie nañonjo ty fità’e havana naho ty fità’e havia mb’ andikerañe ey le nifanta amy Veloñe an-tsa’ an-tsay te ho sa raike naho sa roe vaho sa vaki’e; aa ie nagado’ iareo ty fampiparatsahañe ty haozara’ ondaty miavakeo, le ho heneke iaby irezay.
And I heard the man clothed with linen who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sware by him that liveth unto times age-abiding, —For a set time and times and a half, and, when the dispersion of a part of the holy people, is brought to an end, then shall come to an end all these things.
8 Tsinanoko fe tsy nirendreko; le hoe iraho, Ry Talèko, ino ty fahahenefañe o raha zao?
And, I, heard, but could not understand, —so I said, O my lord! what shall be the issue of these things?
9 Aa le hoe re, Akia, Daniele, fa milite o tsara zao vaho fa vinoli-fitomboke pak’ an-tsam-pahahenefañe.
Then said he, Go thy way, Daniel; for closed up and sealed are the words, until the time of the end.
10 Hiefetse ho foty matsatsaoke ty maro te tranaheñe; fe hiharaty o lo-tserekeo; leo raik’ amo tsereheñeo tsy haharendreke, fa o mahihitseo ro hahafohiñe.
Many, will purify themselves and be made white and be refined, but the lawless, will act lawlessly, and none of the lawless, shall understand, —but, they who make wise, shall understand;
11 Ie mifototse amy fanjiherañe i fisoroñañe boak’ androiy pak’ amy fampitroarañe i fiterateràñe mampangoakoakey le ho andro arivo-tsi-roanjato-tsi-sivampolo.
and, from the time of the taking away of the continual [ascending-sacrifice], and the placing of the horrid abomination that astoundeth, [shall be] one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Haha ty mahaliñe vaho mahatratse i andro fah’ arivo-tsi-telon-jato-tsi-telopolo-lim’ ambiy.
Happy! is he that waiteth, and attaineth to one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 Hañavelo ampara’ ty hamodoan-drehe le hitofa vaho hitroatse mb’amy anjara’oy an-tsehangan’andro añe.
But, thou, go thy way to the end, —and thou shalt rest, and shalt rise to thy lot at the end of the days.
