< Kolosiana 3 >
1 Aa kanao nindre nitroatse amy Norizañey nahareo, imaneo pay o raha amboneo, amy iambesara’ i Norizañey am-pitàn-kavanan’ Añaharey.
If, then, you were raised with the Christ, seek the things above, where the Christ is, seated on the right hand of God;
2 Tsakoreo o raha an-dikerañeo, fa tsy o an-tane atoio.
mind the things above, not the things on the earth,
3 Nivilasy nahareoo, le fa nahaja amy Norizañey aman’ Añahare ao ty fiai’ areo,
for you died, and your life has been hid with the Christ in God;
4 Naho miboake i Norizañey, ie havelo’o, le hiboake mindre ama’e an’engeñe ka nahareo.
when the Christ—our life—may have appeared, then we will also appear with Him in glory.
5 Vonò arè o fangen-kaondati’ ty tane toy ama’oo; ze hakarapiloañe, fandratoañe, filomolorañe, fitsikirihan-draty, vaho fihàñañe—ie fiatoañe am-pahasive;
Put to death, then, your members that [are] on the earth—whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry—
6 irezay ty hifetsaha’ ty fifombon’ Añahare amo anam-panjeharañeo.
because of which things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience,
7 Ie nañaveloa’areo te mbe niveloñe ama’e,
in which you also—you once walked, when you lived in them;
8 fe apitsoho añe henaneo, fonga tsy aboak’ am-palie’ areo ty heloke, ty fifombo, ty inje, ty teratera, naho ty reha-timbo.
but now put off, even you, the whole—anger, wrath, malice, slander, filthy talking—out of your mouth.
9 Ko mifandañitse, fa naitoa’ areo i haondaty hambo’ey rekets’ o sata’eo,
Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his practices,
10 le fa natseta’ areo t’indaty vao, ze mihavao erike am-paharendrehañe mihafonitse, mihahambam-bintañe amy Namboats’ azey.
and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who created him,
11 Tsy te Grika ndra Jiosy, sinavatse ndra tsy sinavatse, ambahiny ndra sadiavahe, ondevo ndra midada, fe halifora’e i Norizañey, ie ama’e iaby.
where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman, but Christ [is] all and in all.
12 Aa kanao jinobon’ Añahare nahareo, miavake naho kokoañe, sikino ty arofo miferenaiñe, matarike, mirèke, trentrañe, naho mahaliñe,
Put on, therefore, as chosen ones of God, holy and beloved, yearnings of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,
13 mifampivavea naho mifampihevea, ie eo ty aman-kabò ama’ ia’ia, le mifampihevea hambañe amy nañahà’ i Talè anahareoy.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if anyone may have a quarrel with anyone, as the Christ also forgave you—so also you;
14 Lombolombo’ irezay ty fikokoañe, ie mamahotse am-pitraofan-kina fonitse.
and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,
15 Ehe ho fehè’ ty fañanintsi’ i Norizañey o arofo’ areoo fa izay ty nikanjiañe anahareo ho fañòva raike: vaho mañandriaña.
and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body, and become thankful.
16 O tsara’ i Norizañeio abey ty himoneñe ama’ areo ao ami’ty halifora’e; mifañòha naho mifanoroa añ’ampon-kihitse; misaboa sabo, naho beko naho takasy miavake, mañandriañ’ an’ Andrianañahare añ’arofo.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the LORD;
17 Aa le ndra inoñ’inoñe anoe’ areo, ke an-tsaontsy he sata, le ami’ty tahina’ i Talè Iesoà, vaho mañandriañ’ an’ Andrianañahare Rae añama’e.
and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, [do] all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus—giving thanks to the God and Father, through Him.
18 Ry roakembao, miandalia amo vali’ areoo, ami’ty eva’e amy Talè.
The wives: be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the LORD;
19 Ry lahilahio, kokò o vali’ areoo fa tsy itorifihañe.
the husbands: love your wives, and do not be bitter with them;
20 Ry ajajao, mivohora aman-droae amy ze he’e, fa izay ty no’ i Talè.
the children: obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the LORD;
21 Ry aba, ko mañìnje anake, hera hahamòhake aze.
the fathers: do not distress your children, lest they be discouraged;
22 Ry mpitoroñeo, mivohora amy ze he’e amo tompo’ areo amo haondati’eo, tsy t’ie misamba hipaia’o tsiriry, fa an-tso-tro mañeveñe amy Talè,
the servants: obey those who are masters in all things according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;
23 aa ndra inoñe o tolon-draha’oo, ihembaño, hoe mpitoro’ i Talè fa tsy ondaty,
and all, whatever you may do—out of soul work—as to the LORD, and not to men,
24 le fohino t’ie ho tambeze’ i Talè amy lovay, amy te Iesoà Talè ro toroñe’ areo.
having known that you will receive the repayment of the inheritance from the LORD—for you serve the LORD Christ;
25 Ho valeañe ty amo sata-rati’eo ka o lo-tserekeo fa tsy irihiañe.
and he who is doing unrighteously will receive what he did unrighteously, and there is no favor by appearance.
