< Amosa 9 >

1 Nitreako nijohañe añ’ila’ i kitreliy t’i Talè, le hoe re: Vangò o tokona’eo, hiezeñezeña’ o tsotsò’eo, hampidemodemohañe o loha’eo; vaho ho zamaneko am-pibara ty sisa’e; tsy ho aman-tsehanga’e hioratse; tsy hipoliotse ty honka’e.
Then I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said: Strike the tops of the Temple pillars so that the foundations shake, and shatter them on the heads of all the people below. Those who survive I will kill by the sword. None of them will escape, not a single one.
2 Ndra t’ie mihaly mb’an-Tsikeokeok’ ao, le hakare’ ty tañako, ndra t’ie manganike mb’an-dindi-mb’eo, hampizotsoeko. (Sheol h7585)
Even if they dig down into Sheol, I will catch them and pull them up. Even if they climb up to heaven, I will bring them down. (Sheol h7585)
3 Ndra t’ie mietak’ an-kaboa’ i Karmele ao, ho kodebèko le hakareko boak’ao; ndra t’ie mikafitse am-pahaisahako ambane’ i riakey ao, le ho tokaveko boak’ ao i fañaneñey handrimita’e.
Even if they hide themselves at the top of Mount Carmel, I will search for them and catch them. Even if they hide from me at the bottom of the sea, I will command the sea serpent to bite them.
4 Aa ndra te misese mb’an-drohy aolo’ o rafelahi’eo mb’eo iereo, boak’ añe ty hitokavako i fibaray hanjamañe; hentea’ o masokoo ho an-kankàñe, fa tsy ho ami’ty hasoa.
Even if they are driven into exile by their enemies, I will order them put to death by the sword. I will watch them carefully—and for evil, not for good.
5 Ie mipaoke i taney t’Iehovà, Talè’ i màroy, hitranaha’e, le miharovetse iaby o mpimoneñeo; ie hionjoñe manahake ty fisorotombahañe, naho hizetse manahake i Saka’ i Mitsraimeiy.
The Lord God of power touches the earth and it melts, and all who live there mourn. The earth rises up like the Nile river in flood, and then falls again.
6 I mpandranjy o fanonga’e andikerañeo, naho nañoreñe i tafo’e bontoly ambone’ ty tane toy; I mikanjy o ranon-driakeo vaho adoandoa’e an-tarehe’ ty tane toiy; Iehovà ty tahina’e.
The Lord builds his upper rooms in heaven, and places the foundations on the earth. He calls for the water of the seas, and pours it down as rain upon the earth—the Lord is his name!
7 O ry ana’Israeleo, tsy ho hambañe amo tiri’ i Kosio amako hao nahareo? hoe t’Iehovà. Tsy Izaho hao ty nañakatse Israele an-tane’ i Mitsraime ao? Naho o nte-Pilistio boake Kaftore naho o nte-Arameo boake Kire?
Aren't the Ethiopians as important to me as you, people of Israel? asks the Lord. Yes, I brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, but I also brought the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir.
8 Inao! miatreatre o fifeheañe lifotse hakeoo o fihaino’ Iehovà, Talèo, vaho harotsako an-tarehe’ ty tane toy, fa tsy ho fonga mongoreko ty anjomba’ Iakobe, hoe t’Iehovà.
Watch out! I'm watching this sinful kingdom. I will eradicate it from the face of the earth. Yet I will not completely destroy the descendants of Jacob.
9 Inao te mandily iraho, vaho ho tsararaheko amo kilakila’ ondatio ty anjomba’ Israele manahake ty fitsararahañe tsako an-tsikelo, fa leo voa’e raike tsy hipok’ an-tane.
See what I'm doing! I will give the command, and the people of Israel will be shaken among the nations like flour through a sieve, and nothing will fall to the ground.
10 Songa havetram-pibara o mpanan-tahiñe am’ondatikoo, o manao ty hoe: Tsy hitotofa’e, tsy hifanalaka ama’ay ty hankàñe.
All the sinners of my people will be killed by the sword—all those who say, “Nothing bad is going to happen; no disaster will fall on us.”
11 Haonjoko amy andro zay ty kiboho’ i Davide nikoromakey naho hakatoko o vinàkio; naho hatroako o nihotrakeo, vaho hamboareko manahake tañ’andro taolo;
On that day I will restore the fallen kingdom of David; I will repair the broken walls, I will rebuild the ruins, and I will make it as it was in days of old.
12 Le ho fanaña’ iareo ty sehanga’ i Dame naho o kilakila’ ondaty kanjieñe ami’ty añarakoo, hoe t’Iehovà mpanao izay.
And they will possess what is left of Edom and all the nations that were once mine, declares the Lord. He will make this happen.
13 Inao, ho tondroke ty andro, hoe t’Iehovà, te ho losore’ ty mpitrabake ty mpanatake naho ty mpandia valoboke ty mpitongy tabiry; le hamopoke divay mamy o vohitseo, hikararake boak’an-kaboañeo.
Look! The time is coming, says the Lord, when the reaper will overtake the plowman, and the one who treads the grapes will overtake the one who sows the seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, and flow from all the hills.
14 Le hafoteko ty fandrohiza’ ondatiko Israeleo, naho haore’ iereo o tanàn-taoloo, himoneña’ iareo; naho hambole tanem-baloboke, naho hinoñe divay ama’e, naho hañalahala golobon-traka, vaho ho kamae’ iareo o voka’eo.
I will bring my people back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and they shall live in them. They shall plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will plant gardens and eat the fruit they produce.
15 Ie hamboleko an-tane’ iareo eo, vaho tsy hombotañe amy tane’ natoloko iareoy ka, hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare.
I will plant them in their own land, and they shall never be uprooted again from the land I have given them, declares the Lord your God.
