< Amosa 6 >
1 Hankàñe ry mierañerañe e Tsione ao, naho o mipalitse ami’ty vohi’ i Someroneo, o roandriam-pifeheañe valoha’e iatoa’ ty anjomba’ Israeleo!
Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who are secure in the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come!
2 Mionjona mb’e Kalnè mb’eo le isao, akia henane zay mb’e Kamate jabajabay; vaho mizotsoa mb’e Gate nte-Pilistiy mb’eo. Ho soa te amy fifeheañe retiañe hao iereo? mandikoatse ty efe-tane’ areo hao ty a iareo?
Pass ye to Calneh, and see, and from there go ye to Hamath the great, then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than these kingdoms? Or is their border greater than your border?
3 Ry mampihànkañe i andron-kankàñey vaho mampitotoke i fiambesan-karotsahañey;
Ye who put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near,
4 o mitsalalampatse am-pandreañe nihamineñe hafotia-nife naho mihitsy an-kidori’ iareo, vaho mikama anak’añondry boak’ amy lia-raikey naho sarake boak’ añivon-jolokeo;
who lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall,
5 o mititike marovany arahem-peo vaho mamoroñe raham-pititihañe, manahake i Davideo;
who sing idle songs to the sound of the viol, who invent for themselves instruments of music, like David,
6 o minon-divay an-tsini-hara naho mihosotse menake soao, fe tsy iroveta’e ty hasotria’ Iosefe.
who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief oils, but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
7 ie amy zao, hasese mb’an-drohy mb’eo ho mpiaolom-pirohy, vaho hafahañe añe ty sabadida’ o mpihity an-telo-antarao.
Therefore they shall now go captive with the first who go captive, and the revelry of those who stretched themselves shall pass away.
8 Fa nifanta amam-bata’e t’Iehovà, Talè; le hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i màroy, Hejeko ty fiebotsebora’ Iakobe, naho mampangorý ahy o anjomba’eo: aa le hatoloko añe i rovay rekets’ o ama’e iabio.
The lord Jehovah has sworn by himself, says Jehovah, the God of hosts: I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces, therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is therein.
9 Ie henane zay, naho lahilahy folo ty sisa añ’anjomba raike, fonga hihomake.
And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
10 Ho rambese’ i rahalahin-drae’e kiraikiraike iereo hañakara’e añ’anjomba’e ao hañoroa’e, le ty hoe ty hanoe’e amy añ’anjomba aoy, Mbe ama’e hao irehe? le ty hoe ty hatoi’ ty ao, Aiy! vaho hoe ka i raikey. Mianjiña, fa tsy volañeñe ty tahina’ Iehovà.
And when a man's uncle shall take him up, even he who burns him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say to him who is in the innermost parts of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No, then he shall say, Hold thy peace, for we may not make mention of the name of Jehovah.
11 Inao fa handily t’Iehovà te ho tseratseraheñe o anjombao vaho ho hotohotoeñe o kibohotseo.
For, behold, Jehovah commands, and the great house shall be smitten with breaches, and the little house with clefts.
12 Hilay ambatovato hao o soavalao? hitari-dasarý eo reketse katràka hao t’indaty? Mañino te nafote’ areo ho voreke ty havañonañe, vaho ho vahon-tsoy ty vokan-kavantañañe?
Shall horses run upon the rock? Will a man plow there with oxen? That ye have turned justice into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,
13 Ry mpirebek’ amo raha tsy vente’eo, manao ty hoe: Tsy ty haozara’ay avao hao ty nahavontititse tsifa?
ye who rejoice in a thing of nothing, who say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
14 Inao arè, ry anjomba’ Israeleo te hatroako haname anahareo ty fifeheañe, hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i màroy, le ho silofe’ iereo boak’ am-piziliha’ i Kamate eo pak’ an-tsaka’ Arabà añe.
For, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, says Jehovah, the God of hosts, and they shall afflict you from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of the Arabah.
