< Asan'ny Apostoly 8 >
1 Ninò’ i Saole ty nañitoañe aze. Nifototse amy andro zay ty fisamporeraham-bey amy Fivory e Ierosalemey vaho niparatsiake mb’eo mb’eo e Iehodà naho e Samaria añe iaby, naho tsy o Firàheñeo avao.
Saul now was there consenting to the killing of him. Arose then on that [very] day a persecution great against the church which [was] in Jerusalem; All (then *N(k)O*) were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria except the apostles.
2 Nandenteke i Stefana ondaty vañoñeo vaho nipoña-pandalàñe.
Buried now Stephen men devout and (they made *N(k)O*) lamentation great over him.
3 Fe nampivalitaboak’ i Fivoriy t’i Saole, nitsatsak’ anjomba, nimoake, vaho nikozozòtse ty lahy naho ampela mb’am-porozò ao.
Saul however was destroying the church by houses entering, dragging off then men and women he was delivering [them] to prison.
4 Aa le nitaroñe i tsaray mbeo mbeo o niparaitakeo.
Those indeed therefore having been scattered they went about evangelising the word.
5 Nizotso mb’ an-drova Samaria mb’eo t’i Filipo nitaroñe i Norizañey.
Philip now having gone down to (the *no*) city of Samaria was proclaiming to them the Christ.
6 Songa nihaòñe’ ondatio o saontsi’ i Filipoo, ie nijanjiñe naho nahaisake o viloñe fanjaka nanoe’eo.
Were giving heed (now *N(k)O*) the crowds to the [things] being spoken by Philip with one accord in the [time] to hear them and to see the signs that he was performing;
7 Nihorentseñe an-tazataza ty kokolampa tsiefa nakareñe am’ondaty nitokoe’eo, naho maro ty kombo vaho ty kepeke nijangañe.
(many *N(k)O*) for of those having spirits unclean crying voice in a loud (were coming out, *N(k)O*) many now paralyzed and lame were healed;
8 Le firebeham-bey ty tan-drova ao.
(and *k*) There was (then *no*) (much *N(k)O*) joy in the city that.
9 Tamy rovay henane zay t’indaty atao Simona mpanao sahàtse, nahalatsa o nte Samariao, ie nieva ho aman’ àsiñe,
A man now certain named Simon was formerly in the city practicing sorcery and amazing the people of Samaria declaring to be someone himself great;
10 nihaoñe’ ze hene ondaty, ty bey naho ty kede, le nanao ty hoe: Haozaran-dra’ elahin’ añahare indaty zay.
to whom were giving heed all from small until great saying; This [one] is the power of God which (is called *NO*) Great.
11 Hene nañorik’ aze ondatio amy te ela ty namoreha’e amo sahàtse fanoe’eo.
They were giving heed now to him because the long time with the magic arts to have amazed them;
12 Aa ie niantofa’ iareo t’i Filipo amy nitaroña’e i talili-soa’ i Fifehean’Añahareiy naho ty tahina’ Iesoà Norizañey, le nilipotse: ondaty naho rakemba.
When however they believed Philip evangelising (*k*) concerning the kingdom of God and the name (*k*) of Jesus Christ, they were baptized men both and women.
13 Toe niantoke ka t’i Simona le nalipotse, vaho nañorik’ i Filipo sikal’aia sikal’aia fa nilatsa t’ie nahaisake o viloñe fanjaka naho raha tsi-tantane nanoeñeo.
And Simon also himself believed, and having been baptized he was steadfastly continuing with Philip, Beholding then [the] signs and miracles great being performed he was amazed.
14 Ie jinanji’ o Firàheñe e Ierosalemeo te niantoke ty tsaran’ Añahare o nte Samariao, le nañirake i Petera naho i Jaona homb’am’iereo añe.
Having heard now the in Jerusalem apostles that has received Samaria the word of God, they sent to them (*k*) Peter and John;
15 Ie nizotso mb’eo le nihalaly ho a’ iareo, handrambesa’e i Arofo Masiñey;
who having come down they prayed for them that they may receive [the] Spirit Holy.
16 ie mbe tsy nivotraha’e; fa ami’ty tahina’ Iesoà Talè avao ty nampiliporañe iareo.
(Not yet *N(k)O*) for He was upon none of them having fallen, only however baptized they were being into the name of the (Lord *NK(O)*) Jesus.
17 Aa le nanampeza’ i Petera naho i Jaona fitañe handrambesa’ iereo i Arofo Masiñey.
Then they were laying the hands upon them and they were receiving [the] Spirit Holy.
18 Aa ie nioni’ i Simona te i fampitongoam-pità’ o Firaheñeoy ro nanolorañe i Arofo Masiñey le nibanabana’e drala,
(having seen *N(k)O*) now of Simon that through the laying on of the hands of the apostles was given the Spirit (holy *KO*) he offered to them money
19 ami’ty hoe: Anoloro ahy ka o haozarañe zao soa te, ndra iaia hanampezako tañañe ro handrambe i Arofo Masiñey.
saying; do give also to me also to me authority this, that on whom (when *N(k)O*) I shall lay the hands he may receive [the] Spirit Holy.
20 Hoe ty natoi’ i Petera aze: Hindre hikoromak’ ama’o o drala’oo kanao sinafiri’o te ho vilie’o drala ty falalàn’ Añahare!
Peter however said to him; The silver of you with you would [that] it be to destruction, because the gift of God you thought through money to be obtained!
21 Tsy aman’ anjara, naho tsy mitraok’ ami’ty tsara toy irehe, fa tsy vañoñe añatrefan’ Añahare ty tro’o.
No there is to you part nor lot in matter this; the for heart of you not is right (before *N(k)O*) God.
22 Mibaboha amy haloloañey, naho misolohoa amy Iehovà, he mete ihahàñe amy fitsakorean-tro’oy,
do repent therefore of the wickedness of yours this and do pray earnestly to the (Lord, *N(K)O*) if indeed will be forgiven you the intent of the heart of you.
23 amy te rendreko t’ie aman-kafairan’ afero vaho androhizan-kakeo.
in for [the] gall of bitterness and [the] bond of iniquity I see you being.
24 Aa le tinoi’ i Simona ty hoe: Mihalalia amy Iehovà ho ahy, ry aba te tsy hizò ahy i nisaontsia’areoy.
Answering now Simon said; do pray earnestly you yourselves on behalf of me to the Lord, so that nothing may come upon me myself of which you have spoken.
25 Aa ie fa nitaroñe naho nitsey ty tsara’ Iehovà, le nibalike mb’e Ierosaleme mb’eo t’i Petera naho i Jaona, nitsey i talili-soay ami’ty rova maro’ o nte-Samariao.
They indeed therefore having earnestly testified and having spoken the word of the Lord (were travelling back *N(k)O*) to Jerusalem, to many then villages of the Samaritans (they were evangelising. *N(k)O*)
26 Ie amy zay, nitsara ty hoe amy Filipo ty anjeli’ Iehovà: Mañatimoa mb’amy lalañe mizotso hirike Ierosaleme mb’e Gaza mb’amy ratraratray mb’eoy.
An angel now of [the] Lord spoke to Philip saying; do rise up and do go toward [the] south to the road which is going down from Jerusalem to Gaza; This is [the] desert [road].
27 Aa le niongake nañavelo mb’eo re, naho naheo’e ty nte Etiopia doga-lahy mpanandily bey amy Kandasie mpanjaka-ampela’ o nte Etiopiao naho mpamandroñe o vara’e iabio, ie nañavelo mb’e Ierosaleme mb’eo nitalaho,
And having risen up he went; And behold a man an Ethiopian a eunuch a potentate of Candace (the *k*) queen of Ethiopians, who was over all the treasure of her, who had come to then worship to Jerusalem,
28 naho nibalike amy zao niambesatse an-tsarete’e ao namaky Isaia mpitoky.
he was (then *NK(o)*) returning and sitting in the chariot of him and he was reading the prophet Isaiah.
29 Le hoe i Arofoy amy Filipo, Harineo o sarete ey hoeke eio naho ireketo.
Said then the Spirit to Philip; do go near and do be joined to the chariot this [one].
30 Nihitrike mb’eo t’i Filipo naho nahajanjiñe aze namaky Isaia mpitoky, le hoe re: Fohi’o hao o vakie’oo?
Having run up then Philip heard when he is reading Isaiah the prophet and said; Surely not also understand you what you are reading?
31 Aa hoe re, Aia ty haharendrehako naho tsy amam-panoro? Aa le nampihovàe’e hijoñe ao t’i Filipo hitrao-piambesatse.
And he said; How for maybe would I be able only unless someone (will guide *N(k)O*) me? He invited then Philip having come up to sit with him.
32 Ty hoe i nivakie’e amy Sokitse Masiñeiy: Kinozozòtse hoe añondry ho lentaen-dre, Le hambañe ami’ty fitsiña’ ty vik’añondry añatrefa’ o mpañitsik’ azeo, t’ie tsy nanoka-palie.
Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this: As a sheep to slaughter He was led, and as a lamb before the [one who] (shearing *N(k)O*) him [is] silent, so not He opens the mouth of Him.
33 Nareke naho tsy nimean-tò; Ia ty haha-volily o tarira’eo, amy te nasitak’an-tane atoy ty havelo’e;
In the humiliation of Him justice from Him was taken away, The (now *k*) generation of Him who will describe? For is removed from the earth the life of Him.
34 Aa hoe ty ontane’ i doga-lahiy amy Filipo: Ehe, ia ty isaontsia’ i mpitokiy, ty vata’e ke ty ila’e?
Answering now the eunuch to Philip said; I pray you, concerning whom the prophet says this? Concerning himself, or concerning other some?
35 Le nanoka-palie t’i Filipo nifototse amy pinatetse amy Sokitse Masiñeiy, nitalily Iesoà.
Having opened then Philip the mouth of him and having begun from Scripture this he evangelised to him [about] Jesus.
36 Ie nañavelo mb’eo, le nizo rano vaho hoe i doga-lahiy, Intia ty rano, ino ty manebañe ahy tsy halipotse?
As then they were going along the road, they came upon some water and says the eunuch; Behold water; what prevents me to be baptized?
(said now Philip: if believe you from all the heart it is lawful. answering now said: I believe the son of God to be Jesus Christ. *K*)
38 Aa le linili’e te hitsangañe i saretey naho sindre nijoñe an-drano ao iereon-droroe, i doga-lahiy naho i Filipo, vaho nalipo’e.
And he commanded to stop the chariot, And they went down both to the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.
39 Ie nitroatse amy ranoy le nampihelañe’ i Arofo Masiñey añe t’i Filipo vaho tsy nioni’ i doga-lahiy ka, fe tinonjohi’e an-drebeke i lia’ey.
When now they came up out of the water, [the] Spirit of [the] Lord carried away Philip, and not saw him no longer no longer the eunuch; he was going for the way of him rejoicing.
40 Nizoeñe Azota añe t’i Filipo; le niranga mb’eo re nitolom-pitaroñe i talili-soay amy ze hene rova ampara’ t’ie nandoak’ e Kaisaria añe.
Philip however was found at Azotus, and passing through he was evangelising to the towns all until coming of him to Caesarea.
