< 2 Timoty 4 >

1 Aa le afantoko ama’o añatrefan’ Añahare naho Iesoà Norizañey, i hizaka o veloñeo naho o nivilasio amy fitotsaha’ey naho amy fifehea’eiy,
I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 ty hitaroñe i tsaray! ho veka’e he an-tsà’e ke tsy an-tsà’e ty hampiantoke, hañatahata, naho hañosike am-pañohañe pea fahaliñisañe.
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.
3 Toe ho tondroke ty sa’ tsy hiantofañe ty mpañohañe vantañe, fa an-draven-tsofiñe mangilingily ty hanontona’ iareo mpañoke tsahatse o drao’ iareoo,
For the time will come, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts will they multiply to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 naho hongañe’ ty ravembia’ iareo ty hatò, hitolike mb’an-dantom-bolañe.
And they will turn away [their] ears from the truth, and will be turned to fables.
5 F’ihe! migahiña amy ze he’e, feaho ty sarotse, toloño an-tsatam-pitaroñe, henefo i fitoroña’oy.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 Toe ailin-koe enga-rano iraho henaneo, naho an-titotse ty fiengako.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 Fa nihotakotaheko i aly soay, nihenefeko i tsikiaviaviy, nivontitireko i fatokisañey.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:
8 Mihaja ho ahy henane zao ty sabakan-kavantañañe hatolo’ i Talè Mpizaka Mahitiy ahy amy andro zay, le tsy amako avao, fa amy ze hene hifale amy fitotsaha’ey.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me at that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love his appearing.
9 Milozoha homb’amako mb’ atoa aniany;
Do thy diligence to come shortly to me:
10 fa naforintse’ i Demasy, ie loho mpitea ty voatse toy ro nienga mb’e Tesalonika añe; naho nimb’e Galate añe t’i Kreska vaho nimb’e Dalmatia mb’eo t’i Titosy. (aiōn g165)
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and hath departed to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 I Lioke avao ro amako atoy. Hitrifo t’i Marka vaho ampitraofo ama’o mb’etoa, amy t’ie mahasoa ahy amy fitoroñañey.
Luke only is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12 Fa nahitriko mb’ Efesosy añe t’i Tikiko.
And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13 Ihe mb’etoa, endeso i saroñe nengako añ’anjomba’ i Karpo e Troasy añey, naho o bokeo, àntsake o an-kolitseo.
The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring [with thee], and the books, [but] especially the parchments.
14 Loho nijoy ahy t’i Aleksandro mpanefe saba, fa hivalea’ i Talè mañeva o sata’eo.
Alexander the copper-smith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15 Itaò, fa niliere’e mafe o enta’aio.
Of whom be thou aware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16 Tsy eo ty nanozañe ahy amy fikòm-bolako valoha’ey, fonga nifary ahy. Ee t’ie tsy hasesek’ am’ iereo.
At my first answer no man stood with me, but all [men] forsook me: [I pray God] that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Fe nijohañe amako eo t’i Talè nampaozatse ahy, hañenefako i fitaroñañey, hahajanjiña’ ze kila fifeheañe. Toe rinombake am-bava’ i lionay raho.
Notwithstanding, the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and [that] all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 I Talè ro hamotsots’ ahy amy ze hene sata-raty, handrombake ahy ho am-pifehean-dikera’ey. Aze ty engeñe an-tsa mb’an-tsa. Amena! (aiōn g165)
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] to his heavenly kingdom; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 Añontaneo t’i Prisilae naho i Akoila, vaho o añ’anjomba’ i Onesiforosio.
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Nitambatse e Korinto añe t’i Erasto, fa nengako siloke e Mileto añe t’i Trofimo.
Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus I have left at Miletum sick.
21 Imaneo fiavy aolo’ ty asotry. Mañontane azo t’i Eobolo naho i Poda, naho i Lino naho i Klaodia vaho o longo iabio.
Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22 I Talè ro hañimba ty tro’o. Ho ama’ areo abey ty hasoa. Amena.
The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with thy spirit. Grace [be] with you. Amen.
