< 2 Timoty 3 >
1 Rendreho te ho tondroke an-tsa sehanga’e añe ty hasotriañe.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times will come.
2 Le ho mpikoko-teña naho mpitea vola ondatio, hibohaboha, hirengevoke, hiteratera, hanjehatse roae, tsy hañandriañe, tsy ho aman-kasy,
For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 tsy ho aman-katea, tsy handrae raven-de, ho mpañinje, tsy maha-lie-batañe, tsy mirèke, mpalain-kasoa,
Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 mpifotetse, mpanao ty tsy nahi’e, mpiebotsebotse, mpitea ty mahafalefale fe tsy mpikoko an’ Andrianañahare,
Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 misare te aman-Kake f’ie mandietse ty haozara’e. Iholiaro!
Having a form of godliness, but denying its power: from such turn away.
6 Am’ iereo ty mipiapia an-kivoho ao hitsepake ty rakemba seretse milogologo hakeo naho aviovio’ ty drao raty,
For of this sort are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts;
7 nainai’e mioke, fa le lia’e tsy maharendreke ty hatò.
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Hambañe amy nitambolitritria’ i Jana naho i Jambra i Mosèy, ty andiera’ iretia ty hatò; ondaty maleo-betsevetse; zoeñe koake tsy amam-patokisañe.
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 Tsy hiraorao, fa halange amy màroy t’ie tsivokatse, manahake ty nizoeñe amy nitsaraeñe rey.
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly will be manifest to all [men], as theirs also was.
10 F’ie nañorike i fañòhakoy, ty satan-kaveloko, ty firefeako, ty fatokisako, ty fifeahako, ty fikokoako, ty fahaliñisako,
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience,
11 ty fampisoañañe, ty faloviloviañe manahake i nitendreke amako e Antioka naho e Ikonioma naho e Listra añe rezay—Akore o samporerahañe nifeahakoo, fe rinomba’ i Talè amy iabiy.
Persecutions, afflictions which came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of [them] all the Lord delivered me.
12 Eka, toe fonga ho samporeraheñe ze te hañorike i Hake am’ Iesoà Norizañey,
And all indeed that will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
13 fe hiharaty avao ondaty lo-tserekeo naho o mpamorekeo; mamañahy mbore ifañahiañe.
But evil men and seducers will become worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 Ihe ka, toloño o nioha’o naho niantofa’oo, fohiñe o nandrendreha’o azeo,
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing from whom thou hast learned [them];
15 naho te nifohi’o boak’ amy naha’ ajaja azoy o Sokitse Masiñe mete mampahihitseo, hitaoñe azo mb’ am-pandrombahañe t’ie miato am’ Iesoà Norizañey.
And that from a child thou hast known the sacred scriptures, which are able to make thee wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 Nikofòn’ Añahare ze hene Sokitse Masiñe, le mahasoa ami’ty fañòhañe, fañendahañe, fañitiañe vaho fanoroan-kavantañañe,
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 hahafonirañe ondatin’ Añahareo ho veka’e amy ze fitoloñan-tsoa iaby.
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.
