1 Ie añe, linafa’ i Davide o nte-Pilistio le navoho’e ambane vaho tinava’ i Davide am-pità’ o nte Pilistio ty renen-drova’ iareo.
And it came to pass after this, that David smote the Philistines, and put them to flight, and David took the tribute from out of the hand of the Philistines.
2 Linafa’e ka o nte-Moabeo le zinehe’e an-taly, ie nampibaboheñe an-tane eo; nanjehe taly roe ho zamañe, le nitana’e ho veloñe ty taly raike. Aa le nitoroñe i Davide o nte-Moabeo, nañenga ama’e.
And David smote Moab, and measured them out with lines, having laid them down on the ground: and there were two lines for slaying, and two lines he kept alive: and Moab became servants to David, yielding tribute.
3 Linafa’ i Davide ka t’i Kadadetsere ana’ i Rekobe, mpanjaka’ i Tsobà, amy nionjona’e mb’ an-tsaka Eofrata mb’eo hampijadoñe ty fifehea’e.
And David smote Adraazar the son of Raab king of Suba, as he went to extend his power to the river Euphrates.
4 Tinava’ i Davide ama’e ty mpi­ningi-tsoavala arivo-tsi-fiton-jato, naho lahindefoñe ro’ ale; le nanoe’ i Davide fira-sintake iaby o soavalan-tsareteo naho tsy ty zato nahaja’e ho an-tsarete zato.
And David took a thousand of his chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all his chariot [horses], and he reserved to himself a hundred chariots.
5 Aa ie pok’eo o nte-Arame boake Damasek’ añeo hañolotse i Kadade­tsere mpanjaka’ i Tsobà, le zinevo’ i Davide ty ro-ale-tsi-ro-arivo lahindefo’ o nte-Arameo.
And Syria of Damascus comes to help Adraazar king of Suba, and David smote twenty-two thousand men belonging to the Syrian.
6 Nampipoha’ i Davide e Ara­me’ i Damasek’ ao ty mpirai-lian-dahindefoñe naho nanoeñe mpitoro’ i Davide o nte-Arameo, vaho nañenga ama’e. Tinolo’ Iehovà fandreketañe amy ze nomba’e iaby t’i Davide.
And David placed a garrison in Syria near Damascus, and the Syrians became servants and tributaries to David: and the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went.
7 Rinambe’ i Davide ze fikalan-defo volamena amo mpitoro’ i Kadadetsereo vaho nasese’e e Ierosalaime añe.
And David took the golden bracelets which were on the servants of Adraazar king of Suba, and brought them to Jerusalem. And Susakim king of Egypt took them, when he went up to Jerusalem in the days of Roboam son of Solomon.
8 Le nangalà’ i Davide torisike tsifotofoto ty Betà naho i Berotae, rova’ i Kadadetsere.
And king David took from Metebac, and from the choice cities of Adraazar, very much brass: with that Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the lavers, and all the furniture.

And Thou the king of Hemath heard that David had smitten all the host of Adraazar.
10 le nampihitrife’ i Toy amy Davide mpanjaka ty ana’e Iorame, hañontane aze naho hitata aze ty amy nialia’e i Kadadetsere naho nahagioke; fa nimpialy amy Toy t’i Kadadetsere, le nandesa’ Iorame fanake volafoty naho fanake volamena vaho fanake torisike.
And Thou sent Jedduram his son to king David, to ask him of his welfare, and to congratulate him on his fighting against Adraazar and smiting him, for he was an enemy to Adraazar: and in his hands were vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass.
11 Nengae’ i Davide mpanjaka am’ Iehovà izay, mindre amo volafoty naho volamena navi’e boak’ amo hene fifeheañe nam­pi­ambanea’eoo:
And these king David consecrated to the Lord, with the silver and with the gold which he consecrated out of all the cities which he conquered,
12 boak’ Arame naho i Moabe naho amo ana’ i Amoneo naho amo nte-Pilistio naho amy Amaleke vaho amo nikopaheñe amy Kadadetse­re, ana’ i Rekobe, mpanjaka’ i Tsobàio.
out of Idumea, and out of Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalec, and from the spoils of Adraazar son of Raab king of Suba.
13 Nahazo asiñe t’i Davide te nimpoly amy nandafañe o nte-Ara­meo am-bavatanen-tsira ao, ondaty rai-ale-tsi-valo-arivo.
And David made [himself] a name: and when he returned he smote Idumea in Gebelem to [the number of] eighteen thousand.
14 Nampipoha’e mpirai’ lia t’i Edome, toe nitsitsihe’e mpirai-lia ty Edome vaho hene natao mpitoro’ i Davide o nte-Edomeo. Natolo’ Iehovà amy Davide ty fandre­ketañe ndra aia’aia ty nomba’e.
And he set garrisons in Idumea, even in all Idumea: and all the Idumeans were servants to the king. And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.
15 Nifelehe’ i Davide t’Israele iaby naho nizaka ze hene ondati’e an-kavantañañe naho an-kavañonañe.
And David reigned over all Israel: and David wrought judgment and justice over all his people.
16 Ioabe ana’ i Tseroia ty nifehe i valobohòkey; naho mpamolily t’Iehosafate, ana’i Akilode;
And Joab the son of Saruia [was] over the host; and Josaphat the son of Achilud [was keeper] of the records.
17 mpisoroñe t’i Tsadoke ana’ i Akitobe naho i Akimelek’ ana’ i Abiatare; naho mpitan-tsokitse t’i Sereià;
And Sadoc the son of Achitob, and Achimelech son of Abiathar, [were] priests; and Sasa [was] the scribe,
18 naho mpifehe’ o nte-Keretìo naho o nte-Peletìo t’i Benaià, ana’ Iehodaià; vaho talèm-pifehe o ana’ i Davideo.
and Banaeas son of Jodae [was] councillor, and the Chelethite and the Phelethite, and the sons of David, were princes of the court.
