< 2 Samoela 6 >

1 Natonto’ i Davide indraike ze hene jinoboñe amy Israele ao, telo ale.
David again gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
2 Niavotse amy zao t’i Davide rekets’ i maro ama’e boake Baale-Iehoday hañakatse i vatam-pañinan’ Añaharey boak’ ao, i fikanjiañe ty tahina’ Iehovà i Màroy, ie mimoneñe añatrefa’ o kerobeo.
David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale Judah, to bring up from there God’s ark, which is called by the Name, even the name of Yahweh of Armies who sits above the cherubim.
3 Aa le najoñe an-tsarete vao i vatan’ Añaharey naho nakare’ iereo añ’anjomba’ i Abinadabe e Gibà ao vaho nendese’ i Ozà naho i Akiò ana’ i Abinadabe i sarete vaoy.
They set God’s ark on a new cart, and brought it out of Abinadab’s house that was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.
4 Toe nakare’ iereo añ’ anjomba’ i Abinadabe e Gibà ao i vatam-pañinan’ Añaharey vaho niaolo i vatam-pañinay t’i Akiò.
They brought it out of Abinadab’s house which was in the hill, with God’s ark; and Ahio went before the ark.
5 Nitsinjake añatrefa’ Iehovà t’i Davide naho i anjomba’ Israele iabiy, am-pañarahañe ze karazan-draha titiheñe nanoeñe an-kazombatango, naho an-jejobory naho marovany naho fikorintsañe naho kantsàñe vaho fikoriñañe.
David and all the house of Israel played before Yahweh with all kinds of instruments made of cypress wood, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with castanets, and with cymbals.
6 Ie nivotrak’ an-toem-pifofoha’ i Nakone eo, le nitakare’ i Ozà i vatam-pañinan’ Añaharey amy t’ie hinetseketse’ o katrakao.
When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached for God’s ark and took hold of it, for the cattle stumbled.
7 Aa le nisolebotse amy Ozà ty haviñera’ Iehovà, naho zinevon’ Añahare ty amy fandilara’ey, vaho nihomak’ añ’ ila’ i vatam-pañinan’ Añaharey eo.
Yahweh’s anger burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by God’s ark.
8 Nanahelo t’i Davide te finanto’ Iehovà t’i Ozà, aa le natao’e ty hoe Peretsozà ty añara’ i toetsey pake henaneo.
David was displeased because Yahweh had broken out against Uzzah; and he called that place Perez Uzzah to this day.
9 Nirevendreveñe amy Iehovà t’i Davide henane zay le nanao ty hoe, Ami’ty akore ty hampombañe i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày mb’ amako mb’etoa?
David was afraid of Yahweh that day; and he said, “How could Yahweh’s ark come to me?”
10 le tsy nendese’ i Davide mb’an-drova’ i Davide mb’eo ty vatam-pañina’ Iehovà fe navi’ i Davide mb’añ’anjomba’ i Ovededome, nte-Gate ao.
So David would not move Yahweh’s ark to be with him in David’s city; but David carried it aside into Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house.
11 Nitolom-pitobok’ añ’anjomba’ i Ovededome nte-Gate ao telo volañe i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày; le nitahie’ Iehovà t’i Ovededome naho o añ’anjomba’e iabio.
Yahweh’s ark remained in Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house three months; and Yahweh blessed Obed-Edom and all his house.
12 Natalily amy Davide mpanjaka ty hoe, Toe nitahie’ Iehovà ty anjomba’ i Ovededome naho ze ama’e ty amy vatam-pañinan’ Añaharey. Aa le nimb’eo t’i Davide vaho nendese’e boak’ añ’anjomba’ i Ovededome ao pak’ an-drova’ i Davide an-kafaleañe i vatan’ Añaharey.
King David was told, “Yahweh has blessed the house of Obed-Edom, and all that belongs to him, because of God’s ark.” So David went and brought up God’s ark from the house of Obed-Edom into David’s city with joy.
13 Ie amy zao, naho fa nandeha enen-dika o ninday i vatam-pañina’ Iehovàio, le nisoroñe ty añombelahy naho ty bania vinondrake.
When those who bore Yahweh’s ark had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.
14 Nitsinjak’ añatrefa’ Iehovà an-kaozara’e iaby t’i Davide, ie nisikiñe kitambe leny t’i Davide.
David danced before Yahweh with all his might; and David was clothed in a linen ephod.
15 Aa le nendese’ i Davide naho ty anjomba’ Israele iaby am-pipazapazahañe naho fipopohañe o tsifan’ añondrio ty vatam-pañina’ Iehovà.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up Yahweh’s ark with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 Ie nimoak’ an-drova’ i Davide ao ty vatam-pañina’ Iehovà, le nitilihitse an-dalan-kede ty Mikale ana’ i Saole naho niisa’e t’i Davide mpanjaka nitribatribake naho nitsinjak’ añatrefa’ Iehovà le nitorifihe’e an-tro’e.
As Yahweh’s ark came into David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out through the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before Yahweh; and she despised him in her heart.
17 Aa le nazili’ iereo i vatam-pañina’ Iehovày vaho napo’e an-toe’e añivo’ i kivoho naore’ i Davide ho azey le nisoroña’ i Davide engan-koroañe naho engam-panintsiñañe añatrefa’ Iehovà.
They brought in Yahweh’s ark, and set it in its place in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yahweh.
18 Ie nihenefe’ i Davide ty fisoroñañe o enga oroañeo naho o engam-panintsiñañeo le nitatae’e ondatio ami’ty tahina’ Iehovà’ i Màroy.
When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh of Armies.
19 Le hene nanjotsoa’e boko-mofo naho fatets-ena naho garatom-balòboke ondatio, i valobohò’ Israeley, lahilahy naho rakemba; vaho nimpoly iaby ondatio, songa mb’añ’ anjomba’e añe.
He gave to all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, both to men and women, to everyone a portion of bread, dates, and raisins. So all the people departed, each to his own house.
20 Nimpoly ka t’i Davide hitata o añ’ anjomba’eo. Le niakatse nifanalaka amy Davide t’i Mikale anak’ ampela’ i Saole, nanao ty hoe: Akore ty enge’ i mpanjaka’ Israeley anindroany, ie nañafa-tsaroñe aolo’ maso’ o anak’ ampatam-pitoro’eo manahake ty fibongia’ o tsivokatse tsy aman-keñatseo!
Then David returned to bless his household. Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of his servants’ maids, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”
21 Le hoe t’i Davide amy Mikale, Toe tañatrefa’ Iehovà, ie nijoboñe ahy ambonen-drae’o naho ambone’ i anjomba’e iabiy vaho noriza’e ho mpifelek’ ondati’ Iehovào, hifehe Israele; Aa le hitsinjak’ añatrefa’ Iehovà iraho.
David said to Michal, “It was before Yahweh, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Yahweh, over Israel. Therefore I will celebrate before Yahweh.
22 Toe mbe ho losorako i hatsivokarakoy naho hireke ampahaisahako, fe o mpitoroñ’ ampela nivolañe’oo, ie ro hiasy ahy.
I will be yet more undignified than this, and will be worthless in my own sight. But the maids of whom you have spoken will honor me.”
23 Toly ndra tsy nanañ’ anake ampara’ ty androm-pivetraha’e t’i Mikale anak’ ampela’ i Saole.
Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
