< 2 Mpanjaka 9 >

1 Tinoka’ i Elisà mpitokiy ty raik’ amo anam-pitokio, le hoe re ama’e: Diaño o toha’oo, le tintino an-taña’o ty paki-menake toy, vaho akia mb’e Ramote-gilade añe.
Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.
2 Ihe mivotrak’ eo, paiao t’Ieho ana’ Iehosafate, ana’ i Nimsý, le mimoaha ao vaho ampiongaho añivo’ o rahalahi’eo, le ampiziliho an-traño, añ’efe’e ao.
And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.
3 Rambeso amy zao i paki-menakey, le adoaño añambone’e eo vaho ano ty hoe: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ Israele irehe. Le sokafo i lalañey naho mivoratsaha vaho ko mihenekeneke.
Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.
4 Aa le nihitrike mb’e Ramote-Gilade añe i ajalahy anam-pitokiy.
So the seruat of ye Prophet gate him to Ramoth Gilead.
5 Ie pok’eo, hehe te niambesatse eo o mpifehe’ i valobohòkeio; le hoe re; Nafantok’ ama’o iraho, ry mpifehe. Le hoe t’Ieho. Ama’ ia, amy zahay iaby toa? le hoe re: Ama’o, ry mpifehe.
And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.
6 Aa le niongake re nimoak’ añ’ anjomba ao, le nadoa’e amy añ’ambone’ey i menakey, le nanoa’e ty hoe: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ Israele; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ ondati’ Iehovào irehe, hifeleke Israele.
And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.
7 Le ho zevoñe’o ty anjomba’ i Akabe talè’o, hañavahako ty lio’ o mpitoroko mpitokio naho ze hene lio’ o mpitoro’ Iehovà am-pità’ Iizebeleo.
And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may auenge the blood of my seruants the Prophets, and the blood of al the seruants of the Lord of the hand of Iezebel.
8 Fonga havetrake ty anjomba’ i Akabe naho songa haitoako amy Akabe ze mamany an-kijoly ke t’ie mirohy he midada e Israele ao.
For the whole house of Ahab shalbe destroied: and I will cut off from Ahab, him that maketh water against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel.
9 Le hampanahafeko amy anjomba’ Iarovame ana’ i Nebate naho ty anjomba’ i Baasa ana’ i Akiiày ty anjomba’ i Akabe.
And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah.
10 O amboao ty hihinañe Iizebele an-tete’ Iezreele ey le tsy eo ty handeveñe aze. Sinoka’e amy zao i lalañey le nibotatsake mb’eo.
And the dogges shall eate Iezebel in the fielde of Izreel, and there shalbe none to burie her. And he opened the doore, and fled.
11 Niavotse mb’amo mpitoro’ i talè’eio mb’eo t’Ieho; le hoe ty raik’ ama’e; Hene soa hao? Ino ty nomba’ i seretsey ama’o? le hoe re am’ iereo: Fohi’ areo indatiy naho i enta’ey.
Then Iehu came out to the seruants of his lord. And one sayd vnto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellowe to thee? And hee sayde vnto them, Ye knowe the man, and what his talke was.
12 Le hoe iereo: Vande izay; ehe atalilio ama’ay. Le hoe re: Hoe zao naho zao ty nisaontsie’e ami’ty hoe; Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà; fa norizako ho mpanjaka’ Israele irehe.
And they sayde, It is false, tell vs it nowe. Then he sayd, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saieth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel.
13 Nalisa amy zao, songa nangalake i sarimbo’ey, le nalafi’e ambane’e eo amy fanongà amboney, vaho pinopò’ iereo i antsivay le nanao ty hoe; Mpanjaka t’Ieho!
Then they made haste, and tooke euerie man his garment, and put it vnder him on the top of the staires, and blewe the trumpet, saying, Iehu is King.
14 Aa le kinilili’ Ieho ana’ Iehosafate, ana’ i Nimsý t’Iorame—ie amy zao fa nañambeñe i Ramote-gilade t’Iorame, naho Israele iaby, ty amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame
So Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat the sonne of Nimshi conspired against Ioram: (Now Ioram kept Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael King of Aram.
15 fe nimpoly mb’e Iezreele ao t’Iorame hijangaña’e amo fere natolo’ o nte-Arameo aze t’ie nialy amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arameio. —Le hoe t’Ieho, Naho zao ty safiri’ areo, le ko apo’ areo ndra raike tsy hipoliotse boak’ an-drova hañitrike talily e Iezreele añe.
And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the woundes, which the Aramites had giuen him, when hee fought with Hazael King of Aram) and Iehu sayde, If it be your mindes, let no man depart and escape out of the citie, to goe and tell in Izreel.
16 Aa le nijoñ’an-tsarete t’Ieho, nimb’ e Iezreele mb’eo; amy te natindry ao t’Iorame; naho nizotso mb’eo ka t’i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà hitilike Iorame.
So Iehu gate vp into a charet, and went to Izreel: for Ioram lay there, and Ahaziah King of Iudah was come downe to see Ioram.
17 Nahatalake i firimboña’ Iehoy ie nigodañe mb’eo ty mpijilo am-pitalakesañ’ abo’ Iezreele ey, le hoe re: Mahatrea mpirai-lia iraho. Le hoe t’Iorame, Angalao mpiningi-tsoavala vaho ampihitrifo hifanalaka am’ iereo, hanao ty hoe: An-kanintsiñe hao?
And the watchman that stoode in the towre in Izreel spyed the companie of Iehu as hee came, and sayd, I see a companie. And Iehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meete them, that hee may say, Is it peace?
18 Aa le ninigitse an-tsoavala ty hifanalaka am’ iereo vaho nanao ty hoe: Hoe i mpanjakay: an-kanintsim-bao? Le hoe t’Ieho: Hanoe’o ino ze o fañanintsiñe zao? Miotaha mb’ ambohoko ao. Le hoe i mpijiloy; Niheo am’ iereo mb’eo i ìrakey fe tsy mimpoly.
So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me. And the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.
19 Niraheñe an-tsoavala ka ty faharoe, ie pok’ ama’e eo le nanao ty hoe: Hoe i mpanjakay: Am-pañanintsiñe hao? le hoe ty natoi’ Ieho: Hanoe’o ino ze o fañanintsiñe zao? Miotaha mb’ ambohoko ao.
Then hee sent out another on horsebacke, which came to them, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu answered, What hast thou to doe with peace? turne behinde me.
20 Le hoe i mpijiloy: Nifanalaka’e, fe tsy mimpoly; toe manahake ty findesa’ Ieho ana’ i Nimsý i findesa’ey; ie mpitrantràñe.
And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.
21 Le hoe t’Iorame, Halankaño! Le hinalanka’ iereo ty sarete’e: Aa le niavotse mb’eo t’Iorame mpanjaka’ Israele naho i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà, songa an-tsarete’e, nionjomb’eo hifanalaka am’ Ieho, vaho nisalakaeñe an-tete’ i Nabote nte-Iezreele ey.
Then Iehoram sayd, Make ready: and his charet was made ready. And Iehoram King of Israel and Ahaziah King of Iudah went out eyther of them in his charet against Iehu, and met him in the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite.
22 Ie amy zao, naho niisa’ Iehorame t’Ieho, le nanao ty hoe: an-kanintsiñe hao, ry Ieho? Le hoe ty natoi’e: Fañanintsiñ’ aia? kanao tsifotofoto o hakarapiloa’ Iizebele rene’oo naho o famoreha’eo?
And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde, Is it peace, Iehu? And he answered, What peace? whiles the whoredomes of thy mother Iezebel, and her witchcraftes are yet in great nomber?
23 Nabali’ Iorame i sarete’ey le nitriban-day le nanoe’ ty hoe amy Ahkazià, Fitak’ ate ry Ahkazià.
Then Iehoram turned his hand, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treason.
24 Fe nabitso’ Ieho an-kaozara’e iaby i fale’ey, naho trinofa’e an-tsakamamovo’e eo t’Iorame naho nipotitse ami’ty fo’e ao i ana-paley, vaho nitsingoritrìtse an-tsarete’e ao.
But Iehu tooke a bowe in his hande, and smote Iehoram betweene the shoulders, that the arowe went through his heart: and he fell downe in his charet.
25 Le hoe t’Ieho amy Bidkare, mpifehe’ey. Endeso, naho avokovokò an-tete’ i Nabote nte-Iezreele ao. Tiahio t’ie nihoridañen-tika t’i Akabe rae’e le hoe ty nitsarae’ Iehovà ty ama’e:
Then said Iehu to Bidkar a captaine, Take, and cast him in some place of the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite: for I remember that when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord layed this burden vpon him.
26 Toe nitreako omale ty lio’ i Nabote naho ty lio’ o ana’eo, hoe t’Iehovà, le havahako an-tetek’ atoy irehe, hoe t’Iehovà. Aa le endeso re avokovokò amy tetekey ty amy tsara’ Iehovà zay.
Surely I haue seene yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sonnes, saide the Lord, and I will render it thee in this fielde, saith the Lord: nowe therefore take and cast him in the fielde, according to the word of the Lord.
27 Ie niisa’ i Ahkazià mpanjaka’ Iehodà le nitsondemboke ty lay mb’ an-dala’ i trañon-goloboñey mb’eo, le nañorik’ aze t’Ieho, nanao ty hoe: Tomboho an-tsarete’e ao, ie ka, le nivoa amy fionjonam-be Gore mb’eo marine’ Ibleame ey naho niherereake mb’e Megidò mb’eo vaho nihomak’ao.
But when Ahaziah the King of Iudah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house: And Iehu pursued after him, and sayd, Smite him also in the charet: and they smote him in the going vp to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And hee fled to Megiddo, and there dyed.
28 Nitakone’ o mpitoro’eo mb’e Ierosalaime mb’eo vaho nalenteke an-kiborin-droae’e an-drova’ i Davide ao.
And his seruants caried him in a charet to Ierusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the citie of Dauid.
29 An-taom-paha-folo-raik’ ambi’ Iorame ana’ i Akabe ty niorota’ i Ahkazià nifehe Iehodà.
And in the eleuenth yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab, began Ahaziah to reigne ouer Iudah.
30 Ie nivotrake e Iezreele ao t’Ieho, le tsinano’ Iizebele; le binatra’e o maso’eo naho sinatro’e i loha’ey, vaho nitilihitse an-dalan-kede.
And when Iehu was come to Izreel, Iezebel heard of it, and painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a windowe.
31 Aa ie nimoak’ an-dalam-bey eo t’Ieho, le hoe i rakembay: Nampanintsiñañe hao t’i Zimrý t’ie namono i talè’ey?
And as Iehu entred at the gate, shee sayde, Had Zimri peace, which slewe his master?
32 Niandra laharañe mb’ amy lalan-kedey re nanao ty hoe: Ia ty mpiamako? Ia? Nitangarike ama’e ty mpiatrake telo ndra roe.
And he lift vp his eyes to the windowe, and sayd, Who is on my side, who? Then two or three of her Eunuches looked vnto him.
33 Le hoe re: Avokovokò. Aa le nafetsa’ iareo ambane naho nifitse amy rindriñey naho amo soavalao ty lio’e vaho nilialian-tomboke.
And he sayde, Cast her downe: and they cast her downe, and hee sprinkled of her blood vpon the wall, and vpon the horses, and he trode her vnder foote.
34 Ie nizilik’ ao naho nikama naho ninoñe; le hoe re, Ehe henteo i rakembam-pàtsey, le aleveño; amy t’ie anam-panjaka.
And when he was come in, he did eate and drinke, and sayde, Visite now yonder cursed woman, and burie her: for she is a Kings daughter.
35 Aa ie nimb’ eo handeveñe aze, tsy nanjo naho tsy i haran-doha’ey naho o tombo’eo naho o lela-pità’eo,
And they went to burie her, but they foud no more of her, then the skull and the feete, and the palmes of her handes.
36 le nimpoly iereo nitalily ama’e; le hoe re: Izay ty nitsara’ Iehovà nampisaontsie’e i mpitoro’e Elià nte-Tisbý, ty hoe: An-toe’ Iezreele eo ty hihinana’ o amboao ty nofo’ Iizebele;
Wherefore they came agayne and tolde him. And he said, This is the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruant Eliiah the Tishbite, saying, In the fielde of Izreel shall ye dogs eate the flesh of Iezebel.
37 vaho ho tay ambone’ ty toe’ Iezreeele eo ty lolo’e; tsy mone hatao’ ty hoe: Etoa t’Iizebele.
And the carkeis of Iezebel shalbe as doung vpon the ground in the field of Izreel, so that none shall say, This is Iezebel.
