1 Ie amy zao nisaontsy ty hoe amy rakemba amañ-anadahy nam­pisotrafe’e t’i Elisà: Miavota, le mañaveloa rekets’ o añ’an­jom­ba’oo le mitaveaña amy ze mete itaveaña’o, fa nikaike san-kerè t’Iehovà; vaho hivo­trak’ an-tane atoy fito taoñe izay.
Forsothe Elisee spak to the womman, whose sone he made to lyue, and he seide, Rise thou, and go, bothe thou and thin hows, and `go in pilgrimage, where euer thou schalt fynde; for the Lord schal clepe hungur, and it schal come on the lond bi seuene yeer.
2 Aa le niongake i rakembay ty amy saontsi’ indatin’ Añahareiy vaho nienga rekets’ o añanjomba’eo nitaveañe fito taoñe an-tane’ o nte-Pelistio.
And sche roos, and dide bi the word of the man of God; and sche yede with hir hows, and was in pilgrimage in the lond of Philistym many daies.
3 Ie nimodo i fito taoñey le nimpoly boak’ an-tane’ o nte-Pelistio i rakembay; naho nimb’eo hitoreo i anjomba naho tane’ey amy mpanjakay.
And whanne seuene yeer weren endid, the womman turnede ayen fro the lond of Philisteis; and sche yede out, to axe the kyng for her hows, and hir feeldis.
4 Ie amy zao, nisaontsy amy Gekazý mpitoro’ indatin’ Añaharey i mpanjakay, ami’ty hoe: Ehe, atalilio amako, ze he’e ra’elahy nanoe’ i Elisà.
Sotheli the kyng spak with Giezi, child of the man of God, and seide, Telle thou to me alle the grete dedis whiche Elisee dide.
5 Natalili’e amy mpanjakay amy zao ty nampihereña’e ho veloñe i nivetrakey, vaho ingo i rakemba nampisotrafeñe i ana-dahi’eiy, hitoreo i anjomba’e naho i tane’ey amy mpanjakay. Le hoe t’i Gekazý: O ry talèko mpanjaka, intoy i rakembay, ingo i ana-dahi’e nampihereñe’ i Elisà ho veloñey.
And whanne he telde to the kyng, hou Elisee hadde reiside a deed man, the womman apperide, whos sone he hadde maad to lyue, and sche criede to the kyng for hir hows, and for hir feeldis. And Giesi seide, My lord the king, this is the womman, and this is hir sone, whom Elisee reiside.
6 Aa ie nañontane i rakembay i mpanjakay, le nitalilia’e. Aa le tinendre’ i mpanjakay ty mpifehe, ami’ty hoe: Hene ampolio ama’e o niazeo, naho ty voka’ i tete’ey sikal’ amy andro nienga’e i taney am-para henane.
And the kyng axide the womman, and sche tolde to hym, that the thingis weren sothe. And the kyng yaf to hir o chaumburleyn, and seide, Restore thou to hir alle thingis that ben hern, and alle fruytis of the feeldis, fro the dai in which she left the lond `til to present tyme.
7 Nivotrake e Damesèke t’i Elisà, ie nisiloke t’i Benehadade mpanjaka’ i Arame, le natalily ama’e ty hoe: Fa pok’ eo indatin’Añaharey.
Also Elisee cam to Damask, and Benadab, kyng of Sirie, was sijk; and thei telden to hym, and seiden, The man of God cam hidur.
8 Le hoe i mpanjakay amy Kazaele; endeso ravo­ravo am-pità’o le akia mifañaoña amy ‘ndatin’Añaharey, vaho ampañontaneo aze t’Iehovà, ty hoe: Hibodañe ami’ ty areteko toy hao iraho?
And the kyng seide to Azael, Take with thee yiftis, and go thou in to the meetyng of the man of God, and `counsele thou bi hym the Lord, and seie thou, Whether Y may ascape fro this `sikenesse of me?
9 Aa le nimb’eo t’i Kazaele hifañaoña’e reketse ravoravo am-pita’e naho ze hene raha soa’ i Damesèke, kilankan-drameva efapolo, vaho nimb’eo re nijohañe añatrefa’e, nanao ty hoe: Nañirak’ ahy i ana’o Benehadade mpanjaka’ i Aramey hanao ty hoe: Ho jangañe hao iraho amo arete­koo?
Therfor Azael yede in to the meetyng of hym, and hadde with hym silf yiftis, and alle the goodis of Damask, the burthuns of fourti camels. And whanne he hadde stonde bifor Elisee, he seide, Thi sone, Benadab, kyng of Sirie, sente me to thee, and seide, Whether Y may be helid of this `sikenesse of me?
10 Le hoe t’i Elisà tama’e, Akia, isaontsio: Toe hibodan-drehe; fe nitoroa’ Iehovà t’ie toe hihomake.
And Elisee seide, Go thou, and seye to hym, Thou schalt be heelid; forsothe the Lord schewide to me that he schal die bi deth.
11 Le nampifahara’e fiatreke aze ty lahara’e am-para’ t’ie nisalatse; vaho nirovetse indatin’ Añaharey.
And he stood with hym, and he was disturblid, `til to the castyng doun of cheer; and the man of God wepte.
12 Le hoe t’i Kazaele: Ino o iroveta’oo ry talèko? le hoe ty natoi’e: Amy te apotako ty hankàñe hanoe’o amo ana’ Israeleo; ho forototoe’o o rova’ iareoo, ho lafae’o am-pibara o ajalahi’eo, ha­dasi’o ho demoke o keleia’eo vaho ho riate’o o rakemba mivesatseo.
`To whom Azael seide, Whi wepith my lord? And he answeride, For Y woot what yuelis thou schalt do to the sones of Israel; thou schalt brenne bi fier the strengthid citees of hem, and thou schalt sle bi swerd the yonge men of hem, and thou schalt hurtle doun the litle children of hem, and thou schalt departe the women with childe.
13 Fa hoe t’i Kazaele: Ino ty mpitoro’o? amboa hao t’ie hanao o halosorañe zao? le hoe t’i Elisà: Fa natoro’ Iehovà amako te ihe ty ho mpanjaka’ i Arame.
And Azael seide, What sotheli am Y, thi seruaunt, a dogge, that Y do this grete thing? And Elisee seide, The Lord schewide to me that thou schalt be kyng of Sirie.
14 Aa le nienga i Elisà re, niheo amy talè’ey mb’eo vaho hoe re ama’e: Ino ty asa’ i Elisà tama’o? Le hoe ty natoi’e: Tinaro’e amako t’ie toe hibodañe.
And whanne he hadde departid fro Elisee, he cam to his lord; which seide to Azael, What seide Elisee to thee? And he answeride, Elisee seide to me, Thou schalt resseyue helthe.
15 Ie te loak’ andro, nandrambe lamba mateveñe, le nalo’e an-drano ao, naho nalama’e an-tarehe’e nametrek’ aze vaho nifehe nandimbe aze t’i Kazaele.
And whanne `the tother day hadde come, Azael took the cloth on the bed, and bischedde with watir, and spredde abrood on the face of hym; and whanne he was deed, Azael regnede for hym.
16 Ie tan-taom-paha-lime’ Iorame ana’ i Akabe mpanjaka’ Israele, le niorotse nifehe t’Iehorame ana’ Iehosafate mpanjaka’ Iehodà.
In the fyuethe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, and of Josephat, kyng of Juda, Joram, sone of Josephat, kyng of Juda, regnede.
17 Ie niajalahy telopolo taoñe roe amby te niorotse nifehe; le nifehe valo taoñe e Ierosalaime ao.
He was of two and thretti yeer whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eiyte yeer in Jerusalem.
18 Nañavelo an-tsata’ o mpanjaka’ Israeleo re, manahake ty nanoe’ i anjomba’ i Akabey; amy te nitañanjomba’e ty anak’ ampela’ i Akabe vaho nanao haloloañe am-piva­zohoa’ Iehovà.
And he yede in the weies of the kyngis of Israel, as the hows of Achab hadde go; for the douyter of Achab was his wijf; and he dide that, that is yuel in the siyt of the Lord.
19 Fe tsy naro­tsa’ Iehovà t’Iehodà, ty amy mpitoro’e Davidey, fa nafè’e ama’e te hitoroa’e failo hirehetse nainai’e amo tarira’eo.
Forsothe the Lord nolde distrie Juda, for Dauid, his seruaunt, as he `hadde bihiyt to Dauid, that he schulde yyue to hym a lanterne, and to hise sones in alle daies.
20 Niola ambanem-pità’ Iehodà tañ’ andro’e t’i Edome vaho nañorem-panjaka hifehe iareo.
In tho daies Edom, `that is, Ydumee, yede awei, that it schulde not be vndur Juda; and made a kyng to it silf.
21 Aa le nits­ake mb’e Tsaire mb’eo t’Iorame rekets’ o sarete’e iabio; le nitroatse haleñe naho zinevo’e o nte-Edome niarikoboñe azeo naho o mpifehe sareteo vaho nitriban-day mb’ an-kiboho’e mb’eo ondatio.
And Joram cam to Seira, and alle the charis with hym; and he roos bi nyyt, and smoot Ydumeis, that cumpassiden hym, and the princis of charis; sotheli the puple fledde in to her tabernaclis.
22 Fe mbe niola ambanem-pità’ Iehoda pak’ androany t’i Edome. Niola ka t’i Libnà henane zay.
Therfor Edom yede awei, that it was not vndur Juda `til to this day; thanne also Lobna yede awey in that tyme.
23 Aa naho o fitoloña’ Iorameo naho o raha nanoe’e iabio; tsy fa sinokitse am-bokem-pamoliliañe o mpanjaka’ Iehodao hao?
Forsothe the residues of wordis of Joram, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kingis of Juda?
24 Nitrao-piròtse aman-droae’e t’Iorame, le nalentek’ aman-droae’e an-drova’ i Davide ao; vaho nandimbe aze ho mpifehe t’i Ahkazià ana’e.
And Joram slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid; and Ocozie, his sone, regnede for hym.
25 Tamy taom-paha-folo-ro’ ambi’ Iorame ana’ i Akabe mpanjaka’ Israeley le niorotse nifehe t’i Ahkazià ana’ Iehorame mpanjaka’ Iehodà.
In the tweluethe yeer of Joram, sone of Achab, kyng of Israel, Ocozie, sone of Joram, kyng of Juda, regnede.
26 Roapolo-ro’amby taoñe t’i Ahkazià te namototse nifehe; le nifehe rai-taoñe e Ierosalaime ao; Atalià, anak’ ampela’ i Omrý mpanjaka’ Israele, ty tahinan-drene’e.
Ocozie, the sone of Joram, was of two and twenti yeer whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede o yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his moder was Athalia, the douyter of Amry, kyng of Israel.
27 Nañavelo an-tsatan’ anjomba’ i Aka­be re, nanao haloloañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà, manahake ty nanoe’ i anjomba’ i Akabey, amy t’ie vinanton’ anjomba’ i Akabe.
And he yede in the waies of the hows of Achab, and dide that, that is yuel, bifor the Lord, as the hows of Achab dide; for he was hosebonde of a douyter of the hows of Achab.
28 Ie nindre am’ Iorame ana’ i Aka­be hialy amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame e Ramote-gilade añe; le nahafere Iorame o nte-Arameo.
Also he yede with Joram, sone of Achab, to fiyt ayens Azael, kyng of Sirie, in Ramoth of Galaad; and men of Sirie woundiden Joram.
29 Nimpoly mb’e Iezreele ao t’Iorame mpanjaka, himelaña’e amo fere natolo’ o nte-Arameo aze e Ramà añeo, ie nialy amy Kazaele mpanjaka’ i Arame. Le nizotso mb’eo hitilike Iehorame ana’ i Akabe e Iezreele ao amy hasilo’ey t’i Ahkazià ana’ Iehorame mpanjaka’ Iehodà.
Which turnede ayen, to be heelid in Jezrael; for men of Sirie woundiden hym in Ramoth, fiytynge ayens Azael, kyng of Sirye. Forsothe Ocozie, sone of Joram, the kyng of Juda, cam doun to se Joram, sone of Achab, in to Jezrael, that was sijk there.
