< 2 Mpanjaka 21 >

1 Folo-tao-ro’amby t’i Menasè te namototse nifeleke vaho nifehe limampolo-taoñe lime amby e Ierosalaime ao; i Kefezobà ty tahinan-drene’e.
Twelve years old was Menasseh when he became king, and fifty and five years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Chephzi-bah.
2 Nanao haratiañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà re, manahake ty haloloa’ o kilakila’ ondaty rinoa’ Iehovà aolo’ o ana’ Israeleoo.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, after the abominable acts of the nations whom the Lord had driven out before the children of Israel.
3 Amy te namboare’e indraike o toets’ abo rinotsan-drae’e Kezkiào; le nampitroare’e kitrely t’i Baale, naho nandranjie’e hazomanga manahake ty nanoe’ i Akabe mpanjaka’ Israele; le fonga nitalahoa’e o valobohòn-dikerañeo vaho nitoroña’e.
And he built up again the high-places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Ba'al, and made a grove, as Achab the king of Israel had done; and he bowed down to all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 Nandranjie’e kitrely añ’anjomba’ Iehovà, ie nanoe’ Iehovà ty hoe: E Ierosalaime ao ty hampipohako ty añarako.
And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 Namboara’e kitrely i valobohòn-dikerañe iabiy, an-kiririsa roe’ i anjomba’ Iehovà eo.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
6 Nampirangae’e añ’afo i ana-dahi’ey, naho nañorik’ andro, naho namoreke, naho nitrobo angatse vaho nitoloñe amo jinio; halò-tsereke ty nanoe’e am-pivazohoa’ Iehovà eo, hiviñera’e.
And he caused his son to pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much that is evil in the eyes of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
7 Natroa’e i hazomanga rinanji’e ho a i Aserày, amy anjomba nanoe’ Iehovà amy Davide naho amy Selomò, ana’ey, ty hoe, Ami’ty anjomba toy naho e Ierosalaime jinoboko amo hene fifokoa’ Israeleo ty hampipohako ty añarako ho nainai’e donia;
And he set a hewn image of the Asherah that he had made in the house, of which the Lord had said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 le tsy hampirerererèko hienga i tane natoloko an-droae’ iareoy o fandia’ Israeleo naho ambena’ iareo hanoeñe ze hene nandiliako vaho i Hake iaby linili’ i Mosè mpitorokoy.
And I will not cause any more the foot of Israel to move out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to act in accordance with all that I have commanded them, and in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 F’ie tsy hinao’ iereo, le tinao’ i Menasè hanao haloloañe mandikoatse o fifeheañe rinotsa’ Iehovà añatrefa’ o ana’ Israeleoo.
But they hearkened not: and Menasseh seduced them to do what is evil more than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 Le nitsara añamo mpitoky mpitoro’eo t’Iehovà, nanao ty hoe,
And the Lord spoke by means of his servants the prophets, saying,
11 Kanao nanoe’ i Menasè o haloloañe zao naho nitolon-katserehañe mandikoatse ty nanoe’ o nte-Amore taolo’eo vaho nampanaña’e tahiñe Iehoda amo hazomanga’eo;
Forasmuch as Menasseh the king of Judah hath done these abominations, having done wickedly more than all that the Emorites had done, who were before him, and hath induced Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 le hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare Israele, Akore ty hankàñe hafetsako am’ Ierosalaime naho am’ Iehodà kanao hiñiñiñiñe an-dravembia’e roe ze mahajanjiñe.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
13 Ho kazazaheko am’ Ierosalaime ty tali’ i Somerone naho ty vato-polòmbi’ ty anjomba’ i Akabe, vaho ho faopaoheko manahake ty famaoha’ ondaty ty finga’e t’Ierosalaime, ie faopaohe’e naho ababo’e.
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measure-line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achab: and I will wipe off Jerusalem as one wipeth off a dish, wiping it, and turning it on its face.
14 Le haforintseko ty sehanga’ i lovakoy, naho hatoloko ampità’ o rafelahi’ iareoo; vaho ho fitsindrohañe naho fikopaha’ o fonga rafelahi’eo,
And I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance, and give them up into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 ty amo haratiañe nanoe’ iereo am-pahatreavakoo, ie nikaike ty habosehako boak’ amy andro niavotan-droae’ iareo i Mitsraimey pak’ androany.
Forasmuch as they have done what is evil in my eyes, and have been provoking me to anger, from the day that their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even until this day.
16 Mbore nampidoandoan-dio maliñe t’i Menasè ampara’ te natsafe’e boak’ an-tsarira’e pak’an-tondohà’e t’Ierosalaime, ho tovo’ ty hakeo’e nampanaña’e tahiñe t’Iehodà, i nanoa’e haloloañe am-pivazohoa’ Iehovày.
And also innocent blood did Menasseh shed in very great abundance, till he had filled [therewith] Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he induced Judah to sin, to do what is evil in the eyes of the Lord.
17 Aa naho o fitoloña’ i Menasè ila’eo, o nanoe’e iabio vaho i hakeo nanoe’ey, tsy fa sinokitse amy bokem-pamoliliañe o mpanjaka’ Iehodaoy hao?
Now the rest of the acts of Menasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he committed, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
18 Nitrao-piròtse aman-droae’e t’i Menasè, naho nalentek’ an-kiririsan’ anjomba’e an-golobo’ i Ozià ao, vaho nandimbe aze nifehe t’i Amone ana’e.
And Menasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of 'Uzza: and Amon his son became king in his stead.
19 Roapolo-taoñe ro’ amby t’i Amone te niorotse nifeleke, vaho nifehe roe toañe e Ierosalaime ao. I Mesolemetee, ana’ i Karotse nte-Iotebà, ty tahinan-drene’e.
Twenty and two years old was Amon when he became king, and two years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Charuz of Yotbah.
20 Nanao haratiañe ampivazohoa’ Iehovà re manahake i Menasè rae’ey.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Menasseh had done.
21 Le fonga nañaveloa’e ty fañaveloan-drae’e, naho nitoroñe o hazomanga nitoroñen-drae’eo vaho nitalahoa’e.
And he walked in all the way that his father had walked in, and served the idols that his father had served, and bowed himself down to them;
22 Naforintse’e t’Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’e vaho tsy nañaveloe’e ty lala’ Iehovà.
And he forsook the Lord the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
23 Nikililia’ o mpitoro’ i Amoneo vaho zinevo’ iareo añ’anjomba’e ao.
And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
24 Vinono’ ondati’ i taneio amy zao ondaty nikinia i Amone mpanjakao le nanoe’ ondati’ i taneio mpanjaka t’Iosia, ana’e, handimbe aze.
And the people of the land slew all those that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Aa naho o fitoloñañe nanoe’ i Amone ila’eo, tsy fa sinokits’ amy bokem-pamoliliañe o mpanjaka’ Iehodaoy hao?
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
26 Nalentek’ an-kibori’e an-golobo’ i Ozà ao re vaho nandimbe aze nifehe t’Iosià ana’e.
And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of 'Uzza: and Josiah his son became king in his stead.
