< 2 Mpanjaka 11 >

1 Ie nirendre’ i Atalià, rene’ i Ahkazià te nivetrake i ana-dahi’ey, le niongake, nanjamañe ze hene tabirim-panjaka.
And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.
2 Fe rinambe’ Iehosebae anak’ ampela’ Iorame mpanjaka, rahavave’ i Ahkazià, t’Ioase, ana’ i Ahkazià, naho kinizo’e amo anam-panjaka zinamañeo, vaho naeta’e tsy ho trea’ i Atalià, ie rekets’ i mpiatra’ey, an-trañom-pandreañe ao, le tsy vinono.
But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons [who were] slain; and they hid him, [even] him and his nurse, in the bed-chamber, from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
3 Enen-taoñe t’ie nietake nindre ama’e añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao, ie nimpanjàka-ampela’ i taney t’i Atalià.
And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah reigned over the land.
4 Aa naho tsatoke i taom-paha-fitoy, le nampihitrike t’Iehoiada, rinambe’e o mpifehe zatoo naho o mpifelekeo naho o mpañambeñeo, naho nampihovae’e añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà naho nifañina’e naho nampifanta’e añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao vaho natoro’e iareo i anam-panjakay.
And in the seventh year Jehoiada sent and took the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD, and showed them the king's son.
5 Le linili’e ty hoe: Zao ty hanoe’ areo, ty am-paha-telo’ areo, o himoak’ ao amy Sabataio, ro hañambeñe ty anjomba’ i mpanjakaio—
And he commanded them, saying, This [is] the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king's house;
6 le nanoeñe an-dalambei’ i Sore eo ty faharoe’e, naho ty faha-telo’e tan-dalambey amboho’ o mpigaritseo ao—higaritse i anjombay ho mpanebañe.
And a third part [shall be] at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.
7 Le ty ila’e roe amo hiavotse amy Sabotsey iabio ty hañambeñe i anjomba’ Iehovày hañaro i mpanjakay.
And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king.
8 Hañarikatoke i mpanjakay nahareo, songa amam-pialiañe am-pità’e, le zevòño ze mimoak’ amy fiariariañey; naho mindreza amy mpanjakay am-piavota’e vaho am-piziliha’e.
And ye shall compass the king around, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain. And be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.
9 Aa le hene nanoe’ o mpifehe zatoo i nandilia’ Iehoiada, mpisoroñey; songa nandrambe ondati’eo, o hizilike amy Sabataio naho o hiavotse boak’ao amy Sabotseio vaho niheo am’ Iehoiadà mpisoroñe mb’eo.
And the captains over the hundreds did according to all [things] that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
10 Le natolo’ i mpisoroñey amo mpifehe-zatoo o lefoñe naho fikala’ i Davideo, o tañ’ anjomba’ Iehovào.
And to the captains over hundreds the priest gave king David's spears and shields, that [were] in the temple of the LORD.
11 Aa le songa nijohañe eo o mpañambeñeo reke-pialiañe am-pità’e, boak’ ankavia’ i anjombay pak’ ankavana’ i anjombay, niari’ i kitreliy naho i kivohoy, nañarikatoke i mpanjakay.
And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, around the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, [along] by the altar and the temple.
12 Nampiavote’e amy zao i anam-panjakay, le naombe’e ama’e i sabakam-panjakay, naho natolots’ aze ty boke Hake, naho nanoe’ iereo mpanjaka, naho noriza’ iareo, vaho niteha-pitàñe nanao ty hoe: Mahaveloñe ry mpanjaka.
And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and [gave him] the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.
13 Ie jinanji’ i Atalià ty fañenotsatsaha’ o mpañambeñeo naho ondatio, le nimb’ am’ ondaty añ’ anjomba’ Iehovào.
And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard [and] of the people, she came to the people into the temple of the LORD.
14 Naheo’e te intike nijohañe marine’ i fahañey i mpanjakay ty amy lilitsey; le niariseho’ i mpanjakay o mpifeheo naho o mpitan-trompetrao, naho fonga nirebeke ondati’ i taneio vaho nampipopò trompetra. Aa le rinia’ i Atalià o saro’eo, nikoaike ty hoe: Kilily! Kinia!
And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner [was], and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets. And Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, treason.
15 Le linili’ Iehoiadà mpisoroñe o mpifehe-zatoo, o mpifelek’ i valobohòkeio, ami’ty hoe: Akaro alafe’ o miriritseo vaho lihiro am-pibara ze mañorik’ aze. (Ami’ty saontsi’ i mpisoroñey nanao ty hoe: Ehe t’ie tsy havetrak’ añ’anjomba’ Iehovà.)
But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said to them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD.
16 Tsinepa’ iareo am-pitàñe le ie pok’ am-pimoahan-tsoavala añ’ anjombam-panjaka, le zinevoñ’ eo re.
And they laid hands on her; and she went by the way by which the horses came into the king's house: and there was she slain.
17 Le nanao fañina añivo’ Iehovà naho i mpanjakay naho ondatio t’Iehoiadà, t’ie fonga hondati’ Iehovà; vaho añivo’ i mpanjakay naho ondatio.
And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD'S people; between the king also and the people.
18 Nimb’ añ’ anjomba’ i Baale mb’eo ze hene ondati’ i taney nandrotsake naho nandorodemoke o kitreli’eo naho o sare’eo, vaho zinevo’ iereo t’i Matane mpisoro’ i Baale añatrefa’ o kitrelio. Le nanendre mpifehen’ anjomba’ Iehovà i mpisoroñey.
And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and broke it down; his altars and his images they broke wholly in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the the house of the LORD.
19 Rinambe’e amy zao o mpifehe-zatoo naho o mpifeleke mpañambeñeo naho ondati’ i taney iabio, le nazotso’ iareo boak’ añ’anjomba’ Iehovà i mpanjakay naho niary mb’ an-dalambeim-pigaritse mb’ añ’ anjomba’ i mpanjakay mb’eo. Le niambesara’e i fiambesam-panjakay.
And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
20 Nirebeke iaby ondati’ i taneio naho nitofa i rovay ie fa zinevo’ iereo am-pibara t’i Atalià añ’ anjombam-panjaka ao.
And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword [beside] the king's house.
21 Fito taoñe t’Iehoase te niorotse nifehe.
Seven years old [was] Jehoash when he began to reign.
