< 2 Korintiana 8 >

1 Ie amy zao, ry longo, tea’ay ho fohi’ areo ty falalàn’ Añahare natolotse amo Fivory e Makedoniao,
Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
2 ndra t’ie mifeake haloviloviañe, le nandoparem-patarihañe ty haliforan-kaeha’ iareo naho ty halosoran-karahara’iareo.
how in a severe ordeal of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.
3 Eka taroñeko ty fahalefea’ iareoy, te nandikoatse ty oza’ iareo, ie nanolotse an-tsatrin-troke;
For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,
4 naho nihalaly ama’ay an-drakadrakake te hitraoke amy fiatrafañe o noro’eoy.
begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.
5 Le nanoe’ iereo, fe tsy ami’ty natao’ay ho mete, te mone nanolo-tsandry amy Talè heike iereo vaho ama’ay ty amy satrin’ Añaharey.
This was not as we had expected, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
6 Aa le nosihe’ay t’i Titosy; ie fa namototse ro hañeneke ama’ areo ka ty fanoloram-palalàñe toy.
So we urged Titus, that as he had made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.
7 Aa, hambañe amy t’ie miraorao amy ze he’e—am-patokisañe naho tsara, an-kilala naho fahimbañañe, vaho amy fikokoa’areo anaiy—le milikoara amo falalàñe zao ka.
But as you abound in everything—in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us—see that you also abound in this grace.
8 Tsy ivolañako t’ie lily, fe ty amo fahimbaña’ o ila’eoo, naho ty hamenteako ty fikokoa’ areo.
I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
9 Fohi’ areo ty fatariha’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey, ie ni-mpañaleale ro nirèke ho rarake ty ama’ areo, soa te i hararaha’ey ro hampañarivo anahareo.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
10 Inao ty heveko ty amy rahay: Tombo’e ho anahareo te namototse amy taoñey, le tsy vaho nanao fa nisalalaeñe.
I give advice in this: it is expedient for you who were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be willing.
11 Aa le henefo i fitoroñañey henaneo, soa te hambañe ami’ty falisà’ areo hanao, ty hañenefa’ areo amy ze lefe’ areo;
But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
12 fa naho eo ty hasindàñe, le ho no’e ty amy hanaña’ ondaty fa tsy ty amy tsy fanaña’e.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
13 Tsy te hampijinieñe ty ila’e le hamaivañeñe ty ila’e, fa t’ie hampitsahareñe;
For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,
14 ie henaneo, ty havokara’ areo ro ho amy ze paia’ iareo, soa te ho amy ze paia’ areo ka ty hanolora’ iareo amo havokara’eo, vaho ho mira.
but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack, that there may be equality.
15 Hoe ty pinatetse: Tsy nilosoreñe ty nanontoñe maro, le tsy niereñe ty nanontoñe kede.
As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
16 Andriañeñe t’i Andrianañahare, te nazili’e añ’arofo’ i Titosy ao ty fahimbañañe ho anahareo hambañe ami’ty ahiko.
But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
17 Tsy vaho i halali’aiy ty ninò’e, fa amy hasindà’ey ty nihitrifa’e mb’ama’ areo mb’eo an-tsatri’e,
For he indeed accepted our exhortation, but being himself very earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.
18 le nahitri’ay hitraok’ama’e ty rahalahy rengè’ o hene Fivorio ty amy talili-soay;
We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known throughout all the assemblies.
19 Tsy izay avao, fa tinendre’ o Fivorio t’ie hindre lia ama’ay amo falalàñe zao, o vandroñe’aio ho ami’ty enge’ i Talè naho hampidodea ty hatsotseha’ay hañimba;
Not only so, but he was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
20 ie mitao tsy ho tiñeñe amy famandroña’ay o ravoravo jabajaba zaoy,
We are avoiding this, that any man should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us.
21 fa anolora’ay ty mañeva, am-pivazohoa’ i Talè, vaho am-pahaisaha’ ondatio;
Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22 vaho nampindreze’ay am’iereo ty rahalahy beteke niventè’ay naho nioni’ay t’ie maringatse amy ze he’e, mentsake henaneo te mampahimbañ’ aze ty fatokisa’e anahareo.
We have sent with them our brother whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
23 Le i Titosy, Mpirekets’ amako naho mpifanehake ama’ areo; naho o roahalahio, ie nampihitrife’ o fivorio, enge’ i Norizañey.
As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you. As for our brothers, they are the apostles of the assemblies, the glory of Christ.
24 Aa le aboaho am’ iereo aolo’ o Fivorio ty ventem-pikokoa’ areo naho ty talim-pirengea’ay anahareo.
Therefore show the proof of your love to them before the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.
